I was tagged by the amazing non_prodigious to reveal the origin of my vetetable username.

Well. First of all, I love cucumbers... I'm a cannibal... I eat cucumbers... I am a cucumber...

I'm a very interesting person... Not. This story isn't going to be that interesting. At all.

One day little Cucu was trying to make an account on some random gaming website, when it said you needed an email to varify the owner. I wasn't a patient child, so I just went on gmail and decided to make an email.

My brain was like "oh no what do I name it" so my eyes darted around my house, and I saw my mom cutting up a cucumber for me to eat. My brother was washing his hands. "I got it!" I thought, and furiously typed down a gmail address.

"Perfect!" I thought.

That's only the beginning...

For internet safety purposes, I never used my real name on any site. So when google asked for a first and last name, I just put Cucumber Waters.

I know, I know, you all see me as "Cucumber-Chan," I'm getting to that part.

When I got a little older, I really wanted a Pinterest. I begged for it, and finally was allowed to get one. As for the email I used, it was [email protected], which gave me the screen name "Cucumber Waters."

After a while of using the Pinterwebs, I found you were able to post your own art. I was reluctant to do it, but when I did, everyone was so encouraging. People who loved anime like me commented nice things, and it made me happy.

In animes that I watched, I noticed people adding -chan to the end of their friend's names. I had wanted to change my name, and I had many other ideas for some, for example "Cucumber-Senpai," "ImACucumberDer," and a lot of other weird ones.

Eventually it turned into "Cucumber-Chan," which I like the best.

And there ya have it. A very boring story for a very boring name. Sorry for making you brain implode.
