Hello Fam :)

Guess, who's back? It has been two years since I wrote the last chapter of this book and I don't know how many of you are still waiting for the sequel. But there have been quite a few messages which pushed me to think about writing one. 

The plot of Crazy best friends is crazy, insane and half of the things don't make sense. So, while thinking about the sequel, I didn't want to write something regular and yeah, it's crazier now. The epilogue of this book could act as the prologue of the next one. 

A/N - Those who are reading my recent books, I have changed my writing style and I am trying to get comfortable with it but since I have written the whole book like this, I will continue it. The sequel too would be in the same format(the conversation type).

Manik, Nandini, and Aryaman were in Manik's room. Nandu notices that Arya was unusually calm. She nudges Manik.

Manik: Aryaman, is everything alright?

Arya: My project is completed.

Nandu: Wow, Arya. I am proud of you.

She pats his shoulder as Arya gives her a small smile. Manik, the saner one, understood the hidden meaning behind Aryaman's words.

Manik: That means you will be leaving now?

Nandu(yelled): What? Why? No.

Arya: But I have to leave. This isn't my home, right?

Nandu(pouts): But you aren't supposed to leave us. We are your family. You are the proud brother of a kind-hearted and beautiful sister.

Aryaman chuckles at her attempt to make him smile and spreads his arm. She buries her head on his chest trying to control her tears. Manik too joins the hug with one hand wrapped around Aryaman as he uses the other one to caress Nandu's hair. He composes himself and breaks the hug before hugging Nandu sideways.

Manik: Nandu, you will be sad right if you are staying away from our home. Or if Ishu maa or papa goes somewhere. How can we ask Arya to stay with us leaving his home? It's not fair to him.

Nandu: It's not even fair to us.

Aryaman takes her hand and pulls her beside him. Manik takes a chair in front of him.

Arya: I know it's not fair. Even for me. You are the first sibling I ever had and you will always be special to me. These are some of the best days of my life and I will treasure it.

Nandu: I am not talking to you.

She storms off the room while Aryaman looks in her direction helplessly.

Manik: It's okay, Aryaman. I will go talk to her. When do you have to leave?

Aryaman: Today at midnight.

Manik: Bye then. I don't think we will meet again. But...

Unable to form any words, Manik awkwardly hugs him, pats his back, and leaves to find Nandini.

Murthy House

Nandu was sitting on her bed, hugging her teddy bear and her back facing towards the door when Manik reached her room. He tiptoes into her room and kisses the back of her head to make her feel his presence. When she doesn't turn around, he climbs on the bed and hugs her from behind. She turns back, crying into his chest as Manik lets her do that. A few minutes later, Manik caresses her hair without breaking the hug.

Manik: Nandu, you love me right?

Nandu nods.

Nandu: But I am not doing anything for you now.

Manik: Ladki, pehle puri baat toh sunle.

As she stays silent, he tightens his hold on her and kisses her head.

Manik: Listen, I will ask Aryaman to stay back. But will you move in with Aryaman to the farmhouse? I will join you but we three are cutting ties with everyone else. Is that fine?

She breaks the hug and stares at him.

Nandu: Manik.

Manik puts a strand of her hair behind her ear.

Manik: I will be with you, Nandu and you love me. But you still can't stay away from our friends, our parents, right. They mean the world to us. How can we force Aryaman to do something that we ourselves wouldn't ever do?

Nandu: This still doesn't make it easy.

Manik: Trust me, I too need an easy way out from here but I am as helpless as you.

Listening to his defeated voice, Nandu hugs him tight and ruffles his hair.

Nandu: We will go through this together?

Manik: Always, love. Always.

Aryaman who was at the door smiles at his two of the most important people. He walks in and wraps his arms around the two of them. After a very long time, when they break the hug, they find something in Aryaman's hand.

Nandu: What's that?

Arya: This is the device that I use to call people on my planet or my mom. As I don't need this now, I thought you could keep this with you. It will just be like as if I am in some different place. You can call me anytime, Nandu.

Nandu looks at Manik skeptically and he blinks his eyes. She grins at Aryaman before hugging him.

Nandu: I am sorry for my earlier behavior.

Arya: Hey, you aren't saying sorry. Just make this world even crazier, right, Sistaa?

Nandu chuckles at him. The next hour, Aryaman explains to them the working principle of the device and how to contact him. He calls his mom to show the demo and introduces them to her. In the evening, Manik calls all his friends and they all assemble in the living room of Malhotra Mansion along with their parents.

Manik: Guys, I have something to tell you. This might sound crazy.

Cabir: Tum dono ka kaun sa kaam crazy nahi lagta.

They all frown when Nandu doesn't speak a word. Instead, she had her hand wrapped around Aryaman's arm and he was tapping his foot nervously.

Raman: Okay, Manik. What's going on?

Manik: Aryaman, why don't you tell them?

To provide his support, Manik sits on the armchair of the chair Aryaman was sitting and wrapped his hand around his shoulder.

Abhi: Is everything fine, guys? Babydoll?

Manik: Bhai, teri babydoll theek hai. Ab chup bilkul.

Aryaman takes a deep breath before blurting.

Arya: Guys, I am a Martian.

Cabir broke the moment's silence by laughing out loud.

Cabir: Bas itna hi? Mujhe kuch aur laga. I am an Interstellarian. Even though I didn't understand that movie but it's a nice film.

Manik: Cabir, use your brain. Aryaman is from planet Mars. He is here for his project on humans on Earth. We found him on the cliff when we went there on my birthday. Since then he is staying with us.

In a rare occurrence, Alya was the first to compose herself.

Alya: It's crazy but I am glad to meet a person from a different planet.

Everyone slowly started agreeing. Even though they all were trying the idea in real, they all were rooted to their places. Manik notices the elders were completely silent. He notices the fear and worries in the looks they were giving each other. Manik goes to them and explains everything to them in detail about all the times when Aryaman was there with them and why they had to hide his identity owing to his safety. They were disturbed by Cabir's scream.

Cabir: Aila. Yeh toh PK hai?

Nandu: Mera bhai PK nahi hai.

Cabir(muttered): Yeh bhi koi Alien se kam nahi hai.

Nandu glares at him. Sensing a probable argument, Manik interrupts them and they ask random questions about Aryaman.

Midnight, Cliff

Aryaman and Manan bid bye with a heavy heart. After he left the place, Manik didn't want to leave and as Nandu's mood was down too, they decided to spend some more time on the cliff.

Nandu: I really hate this. Why does he have to leave?

Manik: It's part of growing up, Nandu. Sabko ek na ek din jana hi hota hai. Be it for a profession, higher studies, or life. Who knows when we have to part ways with our friends?

Nandu: Will you leave me too?

Tears started forming in her eyes and Manik curses himself for not thinking before blabbering. He wraps an arm around her and pulls her close.

Manik: Aaj tak tere bina kabhi reh nahi paya. Aage kaise rahunga? Nandini Murthy, you are a necessity to my survival. If I have to leave you for growing up, I am not growing up ever.

Nandu hugs him without a word, silently promising him the same. 

Finally Arya ko maine ghar pahuncha diya. Get ready to meet some new characters. New fun. New madness.
