~Y/N POV~

The car journey back to the first base where my first doctors appointment is due, was dead silent. I cant express enough how uncomfortable it was but that was because I was again alone with Namjoon for the first time in weeks in this long ass limo again.

Although he did stay on one side of the limo and I stayed close to the door so I could get out at the first given opportunity.

The original plan wasn't to come alone with Namjoon but to have someone come with me but apparently there was something that had gone wrong at where ever it is they worked and according to the rules, Jaemin wasn't allowed to come with me to these sort of things. Only one of the vampire husbands can and since Namjoon is the bio dad, he had to come with me.

Yoongi kicked up storm about this before leaving, he even kicked over a chair and threatened Namjoon to end his life if something happened to me but Namjoon promised he wouldn't touch me and so far he's kept that promise. In fact he hasn't even talked to me or even looked to my direction. He's either glued to his phone or staring blankly out the window.

I pretty much did the same thing but my leg was bouncing with nerves and my patients was growing thin in this long ass car journey for a ten minute check up.

When the limo finally came to a stop, parking rather close to the front door I wasted no time in opening the door myself and stepping out before Namjoon even had the chance to unbuckle his seat belt. Coming out the vehicle I took a few steps to the pavement and allowed Namjoon to have more than enough space to come out which he did but again didn't even look at me, slammed the door shut all while stuffing his phone into his jacket pocket and proceeding to walk on towards the main entrance to the front desk where a nurse just so happened to be waiting for us. The same woman as before if I recall.

"We have an appointment." Namjoon

He mentioned to the nurse who kindly smiled at him with a bow and waved him to follow. I just stayed a distance but enough to hear from where I was and followed them down the same small corridor as before until we reached Dr Chu's office.

But when I stepped in I was surprised to see another male doctor already standing up as if waiting but he seemed younger than Dr Chu, maybe possibly early twenties if you ask me but given he's a vampire I don't know his real age but either way he's young.

"Ah Mr Kim, Miss Lee, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Dr Go."

The mans smile was friendly and welcoming, he gave off this sense of safety around him but again, he's a vampire so you can never be too careful. But seeing his smile towards Namjoon and I entering the room, I couldn't keep my own small smile forming towards him which seemed to only encourage the mans smile to grow wider if that were possible when he noticed they affect he had on my already.

"Miss Lee if you could take a seat in the examination chair that would be great, thanks." Dr Go

I nodded, walking passed Namjoon who stood in the middle of the room, squinting his eyes at Dr Go and checking him up and down. Dr Go didn't seem to care about it though, he just walked across the room to take out a plastic tub filled with things I couldn't see from here and  ignored Namjoon.

"Dr Go, you're very young for a doctor. When Samuel mentioned you as his friend I didn't expect you to be as young as you are." Namjoon

Dr Go chuckled, coming to stand in front of me after I sat on the examination chair that haunts me. Namjoon however came closer, arms crossed over his chest watching Dr Go's every move.

"I'm just very good at my job Mr Kim and I can assure you I have a lot of experience but if you ask me not a lot of us doctors were so willing to take Miss Lee on here as a patient, you know, knowing what happened to the last doctor she had and all that" Dr Go

The two men stared at one another in silence, Namjoon still squinting his eyes at the man and Dr Go only to smirk up at him because Namjoon's brought was slightly taller than Dr Go but both were still much taller than myself.

"Okay then..." Dr Go

He started off, breaking that eye contact and pulling up a stool in front of me to sit down, resting the tub of medical supplies on the nearest metal table.

"I'll start off with some blood samples for you, send them off and get those checked out." Dr Go

"What are they for?" Namjoon

"They just check out her iron levels, Glucose and see if there's any other problems that arise that we don't know about. Then after I've done that we can get this scan done again." Dr Go

I cursed in my mind thinking about that invasive device that goes inside me. Its uncomfortable and I don't want to be doing that again.

"Oh but don't worry Miss Lee, I don't do those vaginal scan's. I just simply go over the stomach. Why Dr Chu chose to the vaginal way is beyond me but I assure you I don't, pregnant or not. Besides he shouldn't of done that without a female nurse present." Dr Go

He cocked his head to the side, thinking in his own mind with a large needle in his hand held up the way.

"I know fucking why." Namjoon

Both Dr Go and I heard him mumble under his voice and the two of us stared at Namjoon for a moment in silence but the man just grunted and took a chair to sit down beside mine but kept at least two feet a distance between us.

"Anyway, let's get this started shall we?" Dr Go

Asking me, smiling as he has done the whole time we've been in here and I just nodded at him, pulling up my sleeve to allow him to one of my veins. He took at least three viles of blood from me, labelled and packed them up in plastic bags for testing. Bandaged my arm up and cleaned up after himself before he pulled up the very machine that will be used across my stomach.

I knew what to do so I just laid down on my back, pulled up my tshirt when Dr Go, moved around the chair, coming up close with the scanner in hand and a tube of gel in another.

"I'm surprised you already know what to do." Dr Go

"It seems pretty obvious."

I told him with a slight shrug and he just stared at me for a moment but it wasn't in a creepy way that Dr Chu would look at me. It was more of fondness and I guess there seemed to be a little pity there for me too. I've seen that expression a lot so I know it anywhere.

"Well then, this gel might be a little cold so just a prewarning. But first Mr Kim, may I ask you where your wife is?" Dr Go

That was a good question but I didn't dare to ask anyone this morning before coming here. Turning my head to the direction of the stunned vampire he stared at Dr Go with huge eyes, lips parted slightly before he cleared his throat and adjusted his tie that didn't need adjusting at all. It was fine where it was.

"She couldn't make it. Something came up with her father." Namjoon

"Her father? I thought Mrs Kim's parents were dead?" Dr Go

They are?!

Well that's news to me.

"They are, she went to visit someone else that she refers to as her father. Now enough with all the questions Dr Go and continue with his this appointment. Y/n and I have somewhere to go after this." Namjoon

We do?

Dr Go hummed and yet nodded silently not uttering another word and squirted some gel on to my stomach and began to press the tip of the scanner down hard on my lower abdomen. He started moving it around and at first it was a little uncomfortable to have something like that pressing down on you. But I put up with it but I couldn't look at the screen, I just couldn't.

There was a part of me that wanted to and another that didn't.

I wanted to because it's my child but the part that didn't want to kept the reminder in my head of how that child came to be and that when it's born I can never raise it as my own, even if we do share the same blood.

But when I just so happened to look at Namjoon to see his reaction or what he was doing his eyes were glued to the screen but showing nothing else but concentration. It was hard to pick up what he was thinking or feeling right now. Even when I heard Dr Go's distant voice saying he found the baby, Namjoon still didn't let anything out. So I had no clue.

I still wasn't going to look though. Nobody questioned it either which was relief on my part since I wouldn't have to explain myself but to be honest I don't think I would of if I was even asked.

The room was silent and even after a while Dr Go didn't say another word either but clicking buttons on his machine and doing whatever else it was he was doing. But when Namjoon's phone started to ring in the room, it created an echo, disturbing the peace.

He groaned, rolling his eyes and taking his phone out of his pocket to look down at the caller ID and his eyes to widen slightly and stand up in almost rushed movements.

"It's Yoongi, just give me a minute please." Namjoon

With that said he quickly left the room, shutting the door behind him leaving me alone with this doctor that now passed me a handful of tissues to wipe my stomach of the gel.

"It's all done now Miss Lee, you can sit up now." Dr Go

I nodded, wiping my stomach relived that it was over and sat up afterwards staring at the door wondering what could be wrong or was Yoongi calling to check on me?

I don't know but I was curious.

"He's an odd man isn't he?" Dr Go

I heard him whisper but out loud. Surprised my this I turned to him, frowning slightly and the man just chuckled when he seen my cluelessness all over my face.

"What do you mean?"

"I think you know exactlt what I mean Y/n. For one his wife isn't here which is one of the rules we have here, the wife must always come to these appointments and two he just left you alone with me which is another rule broken." Dr Go

"Maybe he forgot or doesn't know?"

I tried to justify but Dr Go shook his head tyring to keep himself from laughing.

"A man in Mr Kim's position in life would not forget such a thing when it comes to these rules Miss Lee. Him and the six others you live with, they're all very high up in society and in the last twenty minutes he broke two of them." Dr Go

"Will he get into trouble?"

Curious about this I slipped off the chair, now standing up next to Dr Go who was eyeing up the door across the room.

"Nope. None of them will and they know that. It just surprises me that they are willing to break the rules around you, they never do that for their wife. Oh and I think you should have this." Dr Go

Turning his upper body to face me, handing out a piece of paper to me. At first I just stared at it confused to what that could be but when I realised what it was I stopped back away from him, shaking my head not wanting.

"I can't take that. I don't want it."

Dr Go took my hand and shoved the paper upside down in my palm and pushed my hand back to me.

"Trust me Y/n, you do. You don't have to look at it now but only when you're ready. You'll regret it if you don't." Dr Go

"B-But I wa-"

"Raped? Yes I know and I'm very sorry about that Y/n, really I am. It's unfortunate that his happens to half breeds such as yourself." Dr Go

I bit my lip and looked down to my feet in shame.

"But don't worry, one day all this will stop and things will change. I promise you that even if it may not be today or tomorrow but I can promise you that by the time your child is your age, none of this will be happening." Dr Go

Widening my eyes I looked up at him, shocked to hear him talking like that in the place that we're in. If anyone heard him talk like that he would be in so much trouble yet the wide smile on his face told me he meant what he said and had no worries about it either.

"Why are you ta-"

I was cut off when the door opened again, revealing Namjoon sticking his head through the door.

"Y/n we must get going. Yoongi is home now and I think before he gets even more pissed we should head back." Namjoon

I nodded at him and he copied by nodding back. Quickly I thanked and said my goodbyes to Dr Go who waved at me with a bright smile and assisted me to the door all the while I tucked that picture in my back pocket.

Then leaving with Namjoon again to the limo just to drive home in silence. But what Dr Go said was stuck in my mind. Will this kind of stuff stop to people like me before my child becomes an adult?

I don't know but it's a nice thought.
