I don't understand why the Dreamers get to go on adventures while the rest of us have to stay behind and do homework. They even get week extensions on their assignments! Why can't we have that?! I saw sitting at my desk while Nina just arrived in class. The teacher allowed her into the classroom even though she was late for class!

"Soe! Should we have Panda Express?" James asked me as he finished his homework.

"Sure" I answered as I finished two problems.

We went to our lockers and put our stuff away. Since we are seniors this year, we were allowed to go out to lunch. James would always ride with me to the restaurant. We departed from the school and drove to the mall. It was only a five minutes drive from the school to the mall. I parked my car, and we went into the mall. It was a bit crowded at this time of day. We were waiting in line to order when I saw something odd in the distance. It seemed like a shadow was wandering around the mall! I knew those things were dangerous, but I forgot how dangerous the shadows were.

"Hey, order the kung po chicken and white rice for me! I'll be back" I said as I handed him a $20-dollar bill.

I ran after the shadow as people were happily eating their meals. I couldn't think of a reason as to why the shadow was here, because the people were so happy today. The sun was out, and the weather was nice as well! The shadow went into an under-construction store. I checked to make sure no one was looking at me before I entered the store. There was nothing here. Why would that shadow come here for? I quietly walked around the area to find the shadow, but I heard talking instead!

"I guess they are not here. I could use this to my advantage and collect so much fear!" the voice said happily, "Take out the mall. Start with their food supple"

More shadows appeared from the walls and surrounded me! This was bad.

"I didn't expect one of the Dreamers pathetic friends to be here" Vanitas said as he seemed to be fading in and out.

This was actually a huge relief to me! He's a Nightmare!

"Well, I did!" I defended.

"Why?" he asked unamused.

"Because I am one of the people who loves the chain restaurants!" I shouted as slammed my fist on the ground hard.

I yelped in pain while Vanitas just stared at me like I was an idiot. However, I had a plan. More or less. We heard someone crashing into a building. I smiled as Vanitas looked up to see Trigger Happy crashing into the building! He landed on top of Vanitas as his two golden guns fell next to him.

"Thanks!" I said in relief as I saw Trigger Happy stand on top of Vanitas.

"No worries! Now stand back!" he said as he ran off of Vanitas and slammed his two guns together.

He slammed the guns on the ground, and it transformed into a machine gun! Trigger Happy unleashed a huge round of bullets at the shadows while I stood behind him. I was cheering him on as Vanitas backed away from us. He looked very angry at us.

"I won't lose to someone like you! I refuse!" he shouted as he raised his keyblade upward!

He created a black hole and sucked away all the coins! This was bad! Vanitas prepared to unleash all the coins at us, but a green orb crashed into the black hole. The green orb shattered the black hole.

"Who did that?" I asked aloud amazed.

"We did" James said as he stepped out with Kanbei by his side.

Vanitas was now shaking when he saw Kanbei. Vanitas backed away from us as he prepared to cast another spell.

"How did you know I was in trouble?" I asked them as Trigger Happy and I ran to their sides.

"Well, you running off was dead giveaway. Also, the food was done" James said as he handed me my kung po chicken.

I knew he was right about those reasons. However, I wasn't sure how we were going to defeat the Nightmare form of Vanitas.

"A better question to ask is why the Nightmare form of Vanitas is here and causing a panic" James said as he crossed his arms in annoyance.

Kanbei stood in front of us with Trigger Happy next to him.

"Your world still believes in him as a Nightmare. When we defeat him here, he should disappear and no longer bother anyone again" Kanbei answered as he held his green orb.

"So, let's destroy him" James said simply as he took out his wand.

"I would like to see you try!" Vanitas shouted as he slammed his keyblade on the ground and created more shadows and a dark cage around himself.

James quickly ran in front of Kanbei as he pointed his wand at the incoming shadows.

He said seriously "Expel"

Some of the shadows were sent flying away from him! Kanbei smirked. He was surprised James learned more about magic. Kanbei raised his green orb to send a powerful green chain. The chain cut through many shadows.

"Soe! Defeat Vanitas!" James shouted seriously as he parried one shadow away from him.

"Are you sure you want me to do that? I'm not as strong as you" I said seriously as I held my wand.

"We don't have time to argue! Just get rid of him!" James shouted as he easily defeated another shadow.

I nodded my head as Trigger Happy and I rushed to Vanitas. Vanitas was still holding his keyblade as he prepared to attack us! He raised his keyblade and cast a powerful black lighting at us! I ducked away from the lighting while Trigger Happy ran the other way.

"Trigger Happy! Rapid fire!" I shouted as I held my wand.

I cast a powerful deflecting shield around myself to get away from the lighting while Trigger Happy threw his guns on the ground. We kept running around Vanitas while James and Kanbei fought back the shadows.

"Keep going!" I shouted at Trigger Happy urgently.

He threw more guns out as Vanitas kept attacking me with dark magic. We were almost there. Trigger Happy just had to throw more guns out and circle Vanitas. He was almost there! However, Vanitas slammed his keyblade on the ground, and two dark hands grab me! I was held in place as Vanitas made his way over to me with his keyblade in hand.

"I'll send you back as a warning to those Dreamers for messing with me!" Vanitas threatened.

I gripped my wand as I cast a protection spell around me. Vanitas was confused for a moment, but I was smirking. He had fallen into my trap.

"Or, maybe I will send you back in pieces! NOW!" I shouted as I covered my ears.

Vanitas gasped as he looked around himself. He saw all of Trigger Happy's guns around us! I smirked at him as Trigger Happy grinned madly at Vanitas.

"No.... You wouldn't... You would have to be mad to do this..." Vanitas said as he began to tremble in fear.

"No. We are mad" I said as I nodded at Trigger Happy.

Trigger Happy slammed his fist on the ground and unleashed a powerful round of bullets. The bullets struck down Vanitas from all sides while some of the bullets bounced off of my shield spell. I looked at Vanitas and saw him slowly disappearing! It was working!

"Nice one!" James said as he and Kanbei defeated the last of the shadows.

I cheered as I saw Vanitas' ghost form begin to vanish. He was on his knees as Trigger Happy turned off his guns. I canceled my spell and walked over to ghost Vanitas.

"I'll be back... As long as my brother believes in me.... I'll return.... I swear..." Vanitas mumbled under his breathe.

"You should never swear, it is a sign of weak verbal skills" I said firmly as Vanitas looked at me.

He then vanished in darkness as Trigger Happy, Kanbei, and James approached me. I picked up my Kung Po chicken as Trigger Happy put his guns away.

"Not bad. Now, let's get back to school. I don't want to be late for my next class" James said as he walked out of the mall.

"Ignore his attitude. He'll learn to be a proper gentleman soon. I hope. Thank you for handling the situation" Kanbei said as he departed for his homeworld.

I turned to Trigger Happy who was bouncing up and down. I petted his head as he jumped through the hole in the celling where he fell from. I smiled as I went back to my car. I drove James and I back to school. I sat with Peter who noticed my appearance was a bit disheveled.

"What happened to you?" Peter asked me.

"It's kind of a long story" I answered as I ate my Kung Po chicken in delight.

Geez, I understand why the Dreamers always come to class late. I don't think I would want to come to school if I had to fight enemies like that every day.
