Daisy's POV

As the sun shines through the curtains, I stretch and try to get up as I feel Dustin's arm around me as he pulls me back into him. I hear him groan as he tries to get up. I turn around in his grasp and place a kiss on the tip of his nose.

"Good morning my love."

"Good morning, doll. Did you sleep well?"

"I did. No bad dreams."

"That's good. What time is it?"

"It's about eleven."
"Wow, we actually got to sleep in. I need to get up though. I need to be at the venue about one to go through the sound check."

"I guess we better get up and get you ready."
"Lay with me just a little longer. This is my favorite place to be."

"Mine too."

We lay in each other's arms for as long as we can and reluctantly get up to face the day. As soon as we are both ready we hear a knock at the door. I head over to answer it and I see Sam's smiling face.

"Hey sweet cheeks, boss man ready to go?"
I hear Dustin walk up behind me and wrap his arms around me.

"Yeah, I'm ready. Is everybody else?"

"Of course we are." Jack chimes in as he walks over.

The rest of the crew arrives and they head out to the venue as Colin and Amber stay with me.

"Are you ready for girl time?" She asks as she plops herself on the couch.

"Yes, I am. You have some tea to spill, missy."

I see her eyes widen for a bit when she realizes her secret is out.

"On that note I will stay outside for a while." Colin says as he heads out the door. We both laugh after he shuts the door. I grab the room service menu and look it over.

"I'm hungry. How about some room service?"

"Sounds good to me. I haven't eaten all morning."
We both decide on what we want and order some lunch. Once we were done I turned to her with a frown.

"Spill it girl, I saw you leave Elijah's room the other night. What was that about?"

"Nothing, we were just hanging out."
"Come on. I have seen the looks you give each other and the pet names. You two have gotten a little more cozy than just friends. I can see it. You can tell me."
"Okay, Elijah and I have decided to take our friendship a little farther. I really like him. I have since we were kids. We were so afraid of losing our friendship that we never took it any farther. I am still afraid of losing him, but I love him so much."

"I thought there was something there. You two are made for each other. I can see it."

"I'm just scared that if it doesn't work that I will lose him."

"Don't think about that. Just stay in the here and now. Take it one day at a time. I am so glad that you two finally took that step. We all saw it. You never know until you take that step."

"Thank you bestie."

She leans over and hugs me. We decide to stay inside and watch a movie while we wait for time to go over to the boys. Soon our lunch arrives and Colin brings it in. I had ordered something for him and we sat and ate while we watched a movie. I am glad that Amber opened up to me and I am excited for those two to finally realize that they liked each other more than just friends., but if he hurts her I will kill him.

"How are you doing, Daisy?" Colin asks.

"I'm fine. What do you mean?"

"With the flowers and the upcoming trial. I want to make sure you are doing okay."

"I am as well as can be expected. The flowers were a shock and I don't know how he could have gotten them to me. I worry there is someone out there that can get to me for him."

"You know I am here for you. No one will get to you."

"Thank you, I just hope it's true."

Hate to interrupt this, but it's time to get ready to go. I'm gonna head back to my room and get ready. I'll meet you back here in an hour." Amber says as she gets up to head back to her room.

"Sounds good. See you in a bit."

After she leaves, I head back into the bedroom while Colin waits in the sitting area. I step into the shower and wash the day away and I prepare for tonight. Once I am done I head back into the bedroom to get dressed. I decided on a short dress and thigh high boots. Something I think Dustin will like. Once I finish my hair and makeup I walk out to the sitting area and I hear Amber come in.

"Woah girl, you look hot! Dustin is not going to be able to keep his hands off you."

"That's the point." I snicker.

"You really do look beautiful, sis." Colin says with a smile.

I grab my bag and we all head out to the venue. It is just across from us so we just walk over and show our passes and head backstage. The guys are just finishing up with sound checks and I see Dustin walking back. He stops in his tracks as his eyes slowly slide up my body and I see a smile creep across his face as he quickly moves to me and wraps me in his arms as his lips slam to mine. He slides his tongue across my seam as I open my lips to welcome his tongue into my mouth. His hand slides into my hair as he deepens the kiss and pulls me tighter into him with his other hand.

"Cough, cough" We quickly break apart gasping for breath as we look over to see Sam grinning like a Cheshire cat. "Get a room guys."

"I have a room." Dustin fires back.

"Later guys, we have a show to do." Elijah says, shaking his head.

He quickly grabs my hand and pulls me away from everyone. We head down a hallway and he quickly pulls me into a dark room. He shuts the door behind him and locks the door. He turns around and pushes me up against the wall as he slams his lips against mine. He starts kissing down my neck.

They head out and once the show starts we head out to watch from the side. It's so amazing to see how he switches to the Rock star and the more the crowd reacts the more the energy around him intensifies.I love to watch him in his element. This is where he was meant to be. "I'll go with you." Colin says.

"I don't always need you around."

"Fine, but if you're not back here in ten minutes I'm coming after you."

I head off and as I head inside, the hair on the back of my neck stands up. Something just doesn't feel right. I shake it off and do my business. As I finish and step out, I feel two rough hands grab me and throw me against the wall. One hand grabs my throat as a body pushes against me.

"Didn't think you would ever see me again?" James says

My eyes clear as I claw at his hand trying to get some air.

"How.... did..you get... in here?"

"I have my ways and he has his. Now step down and forget this trial. It won't end well for your new family if you don't. You wouldn't want anything to happen to them would you?"

"Don't...touch...them." I whisper.

"MMmm, what I wouldn't do to have a piece of this." He says as he runs his hands up my thigh and across my mound.

Colin's POV

Why does she always have to be so stubborn. I am only trying to keep her safe. I know I said ten minutes but I can't help this feeling I have in my chest. After a minute or two I started to head in the direction she went. As I turn the corner I see James has her pinned against the wall with his hand around her throat. How the hell is he even here? Last I heard he was still in jail and awaiting his own trial. I quickly ran towards them.

"Hey, what the hell!" Her head quickly turns my way and I see the panic in her eyes. James then turns to see me and drops her to the floor as he runs off. I kneel down to her and brush her cheek.

"Are you okay?" I ask as I get up before she could answer to run after him.

"No, stay with me!" she reaches out to grab my arm.

"I've got to go after him." I can see the panic in her eyes and I can't leave.

"No, he will hurt you. He told me you all were in danger, if I went through with the trial."

"I'm so sorry."

"It's not your fault."

"I should have come with you."

"I thought I would be fine. I don't always want a babysitter."

I call Steven on our coms to let him know that James is here and attacked Daisy. I told him to try and find him. I gently pick up Daisy and carry her to the green room and leave to go get Dustin.

"No, you can't tell him. He will stop the show. Let him have his time. He can't know."

"I have to tell him. He needs to know."

"Not just yet."

I nod my head and go get her some water and sit back down next to her. Once the show is over, I hear everyone come back and when Dustin sees her, he runs over to her pulling her into his arms. He leans back to look at her neck and sees the bruising there and I can see his eyes turn black as he gently rubs her neck.

"What happened?"

"Somehow James is free, he was here and attacked her."
"Why weren't you with her?
"You know how stubborn she can be. She said she would be fine. I let her go and soon followed after her. I found them just outside the restroom."

"Why didn't you come get me?"

"I told him not to. You were in your element and I didn't want you to miss it. You can't disappoint your fans." She says with tears in her eyes.

"You are more important to me than any fan or show. Please when anything happens I need to know." he said to her as he stroked her cheek.

"I just want to forget. Take me back to the room."
"I will. Let's let the crowds die down and we will go."
"I called for a car so you can go now. It will be waiting outside. Take her back, and take care of her. We will handle everything here." Jason says. I didn't realize he had come into the room.

Daisy's POV

Dustin picks me up and I lay my head against his chest as he walks out to the car. I know we are just across the street but the car will get us through the crowd. He climbs in the back still holding me in his lap as they shut the door and we maneuver through the crowd and into the hotel parking deck where we are ushered inside and to an elevator without any hassle. He holds me against him the whole way up to the room and once we are inside our room he carries me to the bed and gently sits me down. He kneels down and takes off my boots and then slides my dress off. He goes over and grabs one of his t-shirts and pulls it over my head. He knows this is my comfort. He pulls the covers back and I slide under them as he undresses and slides in behind me.

"I am so sorry this happened. I keep messing up don't I"

I turn around and look him in the eye.

"This is not your fault. He is just trying to scare me. I can't give up or he will be free to hurt others."
"You are so strong. I love you." He kisses my lips, and pulls me into him.

"I love you too." I say as a yawn escapes my lips.

"Sleep my love. I have you."

I close my eyes and soon I am in a fitful sleep.
