DING DONG!

Mario sighed and kept reading his newspaper. "Ritchie, go get that, will ya?"

"Make David get it," Ritchie replied.

"David, go get that."

"Make Ritchie get it."

"Hit him with your lightning, Ritchie."

David dodged the lightning and went to the door. The other members of Divinus Magia paid him no attention until he brought the coffin back in.

Zaro sat straight up and nearly broke the table. "Isn't that the coffin we sent to the Protectors?"

"Yeah, that's it," Brandon said. "We sent it for Bryan since he, you know, has Hanahaki."

"You don't think his body's in there, do you?" asked Hannah.

Mario stood up and gripped the lid of the coffin. "Only one way to find out. Then he slid the  coffin lid open.

Sure enough, the rich fire dragon slayer was inside. His eyes were shut and his skin was bone-white. He wasn't moving a muscle. Hannah had to cover her mouth to stop herself from screaming. Mario jumped about ten feet away from it.

"My god..." Ritchie whispered. "That is terrifying and demented. Why did the Protectors send his body to us?"

"The Protectors have always have a twisted sense of humor," Inmo said cynically.

"I thought that was the Wandering Coins, not the Protectors," Zaro remarked. 

"Both guilds have twisted senses of humor, Zaro. Ugh, that's disgusting," Brandon shut his eyes and gagged.

"Still, I would've thought the Protectors would've kept Bryan's body for burying. Should we do the job for them?" asked Ritchie.

"I guess," Mario said. "Zaro, take his body out. Inmo, can you go make a pit so we can bury him?"

Zaro reached in the coffin and picked Bryan up. The second he touched him, however, Bryan's eyes shot open and his wings burst out of his back. He screamed at the top of his lungs and started struggling against Zaro's hold. Zaro could've held him easily, but he was so shocked, he dropped him.

"What in the!" David yelled. 

Ritchie fired some lighting and Mario threw a block of stone at the screaming fire dragon slayer. When both items hit his screaming figure, he disappeared in a cloud of dust and smoke.

Inmo got out from under the table. "What the heck just happened? What in the-"

Mario clenched his fists so tight, his fingernails cut his palms. "I think we got just got pranked by the Protectors Guild.
