The day the dam broke,

flooding me with cold water,

drowning my small body,

filling my lungs with your lies.

That's when I fell.

You exhausted my light,

dimming it day by day

until there was nothing,

I was nothing.

Empty.

A hollow shell.

That's what you do to me.

Killing me softly.
