You used to be fun.

You used to be cool. 

But that all changed when you graduate from high school.

Slowly you started to change and I didn't know how to stop it. 

I thought maybe it was me, 

Something that I have done.

It felt like my heart was breaking, 

It felt like I was losing myself .

I didn't like change,

I wanted everything to stay the same,

But you didn't give me a choice.

You said I had to choose,

The past or the future,

But how can I choose?

The past held so much love and joy.

The future that I know is uncertain. 

All I can see right now is nothing but sadness and pain. 

How can I tell him that he is changing?

And not for the better, 

I would rather keep quite than to hurt someone I love. 

Alright guys, so this was to my ex, I was crazy about him, he was so much fun and cool and I enjoyed his company. But after high school and then boot camp something in him just kind of snapped. He became mean and not the nice guy that I know and loved.
