"Ay mariposas, no se aguanten más
Hay que crecer a parte y volver"

Mirabel Madrigal laid her younger sister down besides the river. She was getting a little bit of water for her to drink. Solana's skin was already pale and cold. "Drink up.", said Mirabel and helped Solana to drink. The young girl then leaned her head on Mirabel's shoulder and cried silently. "I'm sorry.", she constantly whispered making her older sister to soothe her and to draw circles around her back. "It's okay hermanita. It's okay.", whispered Mirabel and put her hand on Solana's cheek, kissing her head lightly. Mirabel cried besides her sister while holding her tightly to herself. "Solana.", said Alma and approached her two grandchildren. "I'm sorry.", whispered the brunette again and looked at Alma with blurry eyes. "I didn't want to hurt us." "We just wanted to be something we're not."

Alma sat down besides Solana and touched her hand, taking in the coldness of her skin. The older woman pulled away her hand and hid her feared expression. "I've never been able to come back here. This river is where we were given our miracle." Mirabel looked up together with her sister. "Where Abuelo Pedro...", began Mirabel but couldn't finish her sentence after seeing Alma's face expression. She couldn't talk about it. It was too much to handle. "I thought we would have a different life. I thought I would be a different woman."

Mirabel and Solana were in some kind of a memory, watching their grandfather leaving his family. The curly haired held tightly onto her little sister while tears were running down their cheeks. That was the moment that their miracle was born. Their encanto. "I was given a miracle. A second chance.", said Alma and looked down at her granddaughters. "And I was so afraid to lose it that I lost sight of who our miracle was for. And I am so sorry. You never hurt our family, Solana neither you Mirabel. We are broken...because of me." Solana looked up and saw a yellow butterfly. The one just like in Bruno's vision. She brushed Mirabel's hug off and stood up as good as she could. "Abuela.", whispered the brunette and made her grandmother to look up. "I can finally see." Solana opened her hands and Alma laid hers on Solana's together with Mirabel.

"You lost your home.", said Solana as they walked into the river and looked at the butterfly, Mirabel still holding her tightly not letting go. "Lost everything. You suffered so much, all alone, so it would never happen again.", added Mirabel and looked at her grandmother. "We were saved because of you. We were given a miracle because of you." "We are a family because of you. And nothing could ever be broken that we can't fix...together.", smiled Solana at Alma and leaned her head on Mirabel's shoulder for comfort. She was way too tired again. "I asked my Pedro for help. Solana, Mirabel.", said Alma and put her hands on the girls' cheeks, smiling brightly at them. "He sent me you two." All three embraced each other in a hug, something they longed for so long. Something, Solana longed for.

Butterflies flew around them, bringing smiles on the faces of three Madrigals. One of the butterflies landed on Solana's nose, while a few others landed on her hands and arms, bringing her forward. She could stand and wasn't feeling dizzy anymore! Solana laughed and cried at the same time while Alma and Mirabel looked shocked at her. The girl turned around and embraced them in a tight hug. Deep down, the brunette knew that it was her grandfather who brought them together. Pedro Madrigal, you greatest miracle of them all.

The three walked out of the river only to hear a horse coming towards them. "They didn't do this! Whoa! They didn't do this!", yelled Bruno Madrigal who was riding a brown horse. "I gave them a vision!" Bruno was trying to get of the horse but had a few complications. "It was me! I was like, "Go!" And they were like...", Bruno blew raspberries again and defended his nieces. "They only wanted to help. I don't care what you think of me, but if you're too stubborn to...", the man couldn't finish his sentence because he was interrupted by a hug from his mother. A large one, may I add. "Brunito.", she said with a smile on her face.

"I feel like I missed something important." "You missed quite a lot, Brunito.", joked Solana with her uncle's new nickname and hooked herself besides Mirabel. "Come on.", said Mirabel and helped her little sister to climb up on the horse's back. Alma and Bruno also got up. "What...what's happening? Where are we going?", questioned the man confused and looked at his nieces. Solana looked back at him with a grin he knew too well. "Home."

Sorry for the shortness of this chapter, I just didn't knew how to write the scenes with Alma and Pedro properly. I pretty much hate this chapter but yeah, enjoy it anyway <3
