"Do Not Enter's written on the door way
Why can't everyone just go away?
Except you
You can stay"

Solana sat besides Mirabel at the table, her head leaning on her hand. She was too tired and bored to listen to her grandmother but did it anyway. "The Guzmáns and the Madrigals together will be so good for the encanto." "Yes. Then, let's hope tonight is not a horrible disaster.", agreed Mariano's mother with Alma. Meanwhile, Mirabel had a staring contest with Dolores. The girl with red bow could never keep her mouth shut but this time she had to. And Mirabel was going to make sure of it. "Salud!", said the whole family and raised their glasses up. Mirabel was still staring at her cousin making her younger sister to roll her eyes. "Avocado?", offered Mariano towards the two younger girls and put the bowl in front of Mirabel's face. Solana gladly took it, realizing that Dolores already began to tell her younger brother about the things she heard.

Camilo coughed and shape shifted first into Mirabel, then Solana and finally into Bruno. The brunette gasped and kicked his foot under the table. "Camilo, fix your face!", she whispered quickly and took a large bite from her food. Camilo then whispered it towards his father who automatically spilled his wine. "Mirabel, the cream?", asked Alma kindly. "Sol, the cream?" Solana looked at her father. "Pá, the cream." Augustín gave the small bowl to his youngest daughter and she passed it to Mirabel. Solana saw that Felíx was now whispering the news towards Pepa and that made her cloud to thunder. And finally, Julita has now heard the news and eyed her littlest daughters. Mirabel sipped on her juice, trying to avoid eye contact with anyone at the table but failed after seeing the cracks underneath her chair. She tapped Solana's shoulder and showed her the troubles. The young girl gasped in surprise and looked at her older sister in worry. That wasn't good! "Mirabel, Solana. Everything okay?", questioned Mariano, making both girls to hit their heads under the table. They looked up with awkward faces. "Everything is great. They're just excited.", chuckled Augustín nervous and petted the hand of his youngest daughter who smiled lightly.

"For you to propose. Which, uh, you should do!" "Yes!", agreed Mirabel with her father. "As fast as you can." "Uh, I was actually gonna..." "You were actually gonna. Great!", said Solana and stood up with her sister. The girl with green glasses brushed over Isabela's dress gently. "Well, since everyone here has a talent, my Mariano wanted to begin with a song!", announced Mariano's mother and looked at the stronger girl. "Luisa, could you bring over the piano?" Solana looked at her older sister, seeing her struggle to hold the tears back. Luisa agreed and walked away to get the instrument. Mirabel chuckled nervously and stood up from her place. "Uh, it's actually family tradition to sing after.", she said and pushed Mariano down from his chair on one knee. The man cleared his throat and got out the ring. "Isabela, most graceful of all the Madrigals.", began Mariano but got interrupted with Mirabel who jumped over to hide the cracks. "You're doing great.", she stated from her weird position. "The most perfect flower..." "I wouldn't say perfect.", mumbled Solana and saw one of the animals stealing the vision from Augustín.

Solana looked at the animals that put the puzzle together and got extremely mad that she began to glow. Fireballs started to form in her hands as she chased the little creatures around the table with Mirabel, ruining the dinner obviously. But Solana didn't care at all. "What is going on?", questioned Mariano's mother with concern while seeing the Madrigals gifts to play crazy. "Mirabel and Solana found Bruno's vision. They're in it. They're gonna destroy the magic and now, we're all doomed!", confessed Dolores finally, letting everything out. Solana shot fire at the animals, that wasn't going to harm them anyway, to get the vision from them and as she finally caught it, shot Mirabel the plate straight to Alma. The older woman looked at the vision and back to her granddaughters. They were the reason for the lack of encanto? Cracks began to show, letting the powers of the family to go crazy again. Alma looked again at the two teenagers. They really were doomed now.

"Abuela, please! There's gotta be an explanation.", yelled Solana after her grandmother. "I hate you!", shouted Isabela and ran to her room. Her sister Luisa was crying  and Augustín ran after her. Pepa was furious. What was going on? Why was this happening to them? "We're not doing anything! It's Bruno's vision! It's...", that's when Mirabel got interrupted with Solana running behind the rats that stole four glowing pieces of vision. Solana opened the pictures where the rats ran behind, mentioning for Mirabel to follow her. "Be careful, please.", she whispered and held her sister's hand tightly in hers. That's when Mirabel saw Bruno and gasped in fear. Solana instead smirked. Both sisters ran behind their uncle, in hopes to find out more about the prophecy.

They swung themselves over small holes while trying to stay behind Bruno. Running wasn't something Solana was good at. It was the opposite but luckily she held Mirabel's hand. The girl was quite good at it. Mirabel kept shouting behind their uncle until she suddenly stopped in front of a large hole. "Bel, rethink your next step carefully!", yelled Solana as her older sister ran with her, stepping of the edge to get to the other side. Little did they knew. The steps broke beneath them, making Solana to fall and dragging her sister down with her. "Bel!", shouted the younger girl. Mirabel couldn't hold on any longer but that's when Bruno came to the rescue. "You're very sweaty.", he pointed out and fell down too, making Solana to catch his hand. But then a rat came out of his sleeve making Mirabel to juggle around and Sol to let go. "Tío!", yelled the younger girl in shock. Bruno stood up, waving away the fog that was making the hole to look scary. He smiled at Solana and caught her as she let go of Mirabel.

All three of them got back up and Bruno looked at Mirabel. "Bye.", he said and walked away, confusing the young girl. "No. Hold on!", she shouted and dragged Solana with her. "Why did you take the vision?" Bruno didn't answer, he only knocked on the wood and held his breath in hope that Mirabel would vanish somehow. "What does it mean?", she kept on bugging. "You two were never supposed to see that vision. No one was.", said Bruno and knocked again on the wood. "But...", began Mirabel and got interrupted by Bruno throwing salt at her. Bruno then threw sugar at Solana making her to gasp in surprise. "Have you been in here patching the cracks?", questioned the girl with glasses confused. "Oh, that? No, no, no. I'm too scared to go near those things. All the patching's done by Hernando.", explained Bruno making his youngest niece to giggle. "Who is Hernando?", asked Mirabel and looked at Bruno who had now his cloak over his head.

"I'm Hernando and I'm scared of nothing!", said the man in a deep voice, Mirabel staring at him. "It's actually me. I used to say my real gift was 'acting' but Solana thought it was hilarious." "And I stand by that!", answered Sol and crossed her arms over her chest. Mirabel looked weirdly at her sister. Did she knew Bruno before? "I'm Jorge. I make the spackle.", said Bruno with a bucket over his head. "How long have you been back here?", questioned Mirabel nervous and squeezed Solana's hand. "He never left.", answered Solana and led her older sister into Bruno's "home". "Well, I left my tower which was, you know, a lot of stairs and here, eh, kitchen adjacent.", he clicked his tongue and showed the two girls an arepa, the one that Solana brought him earlier this morning. "I'm the one that gives him food.", whispered the brunette to the curly haired. Mirabel looked shocked at her little sister. "Ooh, ooh, plus free entertainment. So, what do you like?", questioned Bruno and began to put different cards on the rats to show the options he got.

"Their love could never be.", explained Solana as Bruno put the telenovela card on the rats. Bruno and Sol came out with the plot together. "I don't understand.", said Mirabel and looked around the place. "Well, because she's his aunt and she has amnesia so she can't remember that she's his aunt. It's like a very forbidden kind of..." "I don't understand why you left, but didn't leave.", cleared Mirabel her statement from earlier. Bruno looked nervous at Solana. "Oh, well, because, huh, the mountains around the encanto are pretty tall. And, uh, like I said, free food and everything.", said Bruno and took one of the rats and the arepa. He always fed the rats. Mirabel walked over to the place where he stood a second ago and peeked through the crack, only to realize that it was the dining room and then she noticed the plate drawing on the wooden table. "He always ate with us and no one knew.", stated Solana and smiled sadly at the drawing. Mirabel looked sadly at her sister. That fate, could also happen to her one day.

"Yeah, my gift wasn't helping the family, but uh, I love my family, you know? I just don't know how to...I just don't know how to...well anyway, I think you should go, because, um, I don't really have a good reason, but if I did, you'd be like, "I should go because that's a good reason.", said Bruno, sitting down in his chair. Solana looked at her uncle with sympathy. He did that too the first time she visited him. "Why were we in your vision?", asked Mirabel carefully. "Tío Bruno? We just wanted to make the family proud of us. Just once." Solana put her hand on Mirabel's shoulder, giving her a light squeeze. "But if we should stop, if we're hurting our family, just tell us." "I can't tell you...because I don't know.", said Bruno and took out the pieces, they were still glowing green. "I had this vision the night that you didn't get your gift. Abuela worried about the magic. So, she begged me to look into the future. See what it meant. And I saw the magic in danger. Our house breaking. And then, and then, and then, I saw you two. But the vision was different. It...it would change. And there was no one answer. No clear fate. Like your future was undecided." Solana looked at Mirabel with big eyes. "But I knew how it was gonna look. I knew what everyone would think because I'm Bruno and everyone always assumes the worst, so...so...", finished Bruno explaining the story. "You left to protect us?", questioned Solana and looked up from the vision towards her uncle. "I don't know which way it'll go, but my guess...the family, the encanto and the fate of the miracle itself...well it's all gonna come down to you two." Mirabel had a worried look on her face and faced her sister. Solana was only a year younger, yet, she could be so dangerous with just one wrong move and the dinner with the Guzmáns proved it. "Or maybe I'm wrong.", said Bruno and changed his mood quickly while grabbing the vision and putting it away. "You know, it's a mystery. That's why this vision is...", he blowed raspberries and put his thumb down.

Bruno opened the "door" to his home and was ready to shove Mirabel and Solana out. "Look, if I could help any more, I would, but that's all I know. Good luck. I wish I could've seen more." "Yeah.", said Mirabel and walked out. Solana then stopped suddenly and looked at her older sister. "He could've seen more!", she whispered and a smile appeared on her face. "You wish you could have seen more, so see more!", said Mirabel and kicked the door open. Bruno yelped in surprise and looked at his nieces. "Have another vision." "Oh. No, no. See, I don't do visions anymore.", said Bruno and walked behind his red chair nervously. "But you could.", argued Solana. "But I won't.", answered the man and put up a broom in front of him. "You can't say the weight of the world is on your shoulders. The end. If our fate's up to us, we say have another vision.", continued Solana to debate and made her uncle to trip and fall down. "Maybe it'll show us what to do." "Look, even if I wanted to, which I don't, you wrecked my vision cave. Which is a problem, 'cause I need a big open space." "We'll find one.", said Mirabel optimistic. "Where?", asked Bruno looking between his nieces.

"Use my room.", heard Solana the voice of her baby cousin Antonio. The boy dragged the attention towards him. "The rats told me everything. Don't eat those.", said the younger boy, directing his last sentence towards the jaguar that was about to swallow down the rats. Mirabel and Solana looked back at their uncle, in hopes to somehow convince him to help. "Our family needs help, and you need to get outta here."

Meanwhile in the village, people became anxious. The encanto was loosing its magic and it was clear to everyone. "You should have told me the second you saw the vision. Think of the family.", argued Alma with the husband of her daughter, Julieta. "I was thinking of my daughters.", fired Augustín back with a stern look. Alma looked over at her other daughter. "Pepa, calm down.", she said. "I'm doing my best. You're lucky it's not a hurricane.", shouted the woman with snowy cloud over her head. "Mamá, you've always been too hard on Mirabel and Solana.", said Julieta and stood now besides her husband, defending her children. "Look around. We must protect our family, our encanto. We cannot lose our home.", said Alma, desperate in her voice. "Señora, perdon. People in town are becoming anxious about the magic. They want to see you.", said the villager making Alma to sigh. "Mirabel and Solana were in that vision for a reason.", declared the older woman and put her scarf around herself, preparing to go down to the village to comfort the people. "Find them."
