Chapter 14

Landso was anxious, that was easy for anyone to tell. His two best friends stood by his side as they listened to Selltresse's stern voice. The three of them were woken up much earlier then usual and were left with around thirty minutes to get dressed. None of them had worn clothes kliek this before.

Acheron was wearing a blue button up shirt with black jeans paired with some blue trainers. Landso wore a similar attire but in red. Vanilla was wearing a purple t-shirt tucked into a black skirt, her hair was in a high ponytail and she was wearing whtie flats. It was extremely casual attire for them and they had only seen things like that in books . The three of them were used to suits and long fancy dresses , so this was very much out of their comfort zone.

"right.."Addafor said as he walked in front of the three and closer to Selltresse . He was wearing something similar to his children , except his shirt was unbuttoned and he wore a gray shirt underneath a green button up. "So our plan is to go to the human dimension and bring laylian back?"

"That is correct." Vandkin said sternly. None of them were extremely happy with this plan. Addafor was going with the children to the human world to try and find Laylian and to bring her home to try and figure the prophecy out. They didn't' really want to send the children to the human world, especially if there was a potential danger over there. Though the children were some of the most educated and powerful fae in the dimension. If they had any chance at all at finding Laylian then the children had to be involved.

Laidra stepped forward elegantly and hugged her children close to her. "Now stay close to your father, stick together and keep your guard up. You may look around the human dimension if you wish but do not put yourselves in any danger. That goes for you too Vansilla." Her concern for her children was shining through, she knew that she had lost Laylian to the human dimension and she did not want to lose her other two children.

If the circumstances were different Laidra and Addafor would have left Laylian in the human dimension, perhaps trying to figure out a way to know if she is safe or not or a way so that they could all communicate like a family. If Laylian hadn't felt pressured to go in the middle of the night to the human dimension then perhaps they could have talked something out, they would have discussed a safe way for Laylian to visit the human dimension if adventure was what she was after. Though considering the circumstances they would need to force her to come home.

"Yes mother-""yes mrs.caileafaq" The three children said in unison as the adults continued to have stern, secret discussions in front of them. They knew what the plan was, in theory they would go to the human dimension , make something to find laylian and bring her back. If they had more time this would have been planned further in the fae dimension , they would have made the device there or used one of the many many strange devices they had piled away as time went on.

"Children? Are you ready?" Addafor asked with a hard expression but a look fo wonder still glinted in his eyes. He was rather eager to see the human dimension for himself, he knew it was his streak of adventure that was passed down to Laylian that caused her to want to leave in the first place. Despite the reason for going, he still hoped to learn a lot more about how the humans live.

The children felt ecstatic yet nervous as they walked through the trees where dark fae were said to roam. They knew that they were safe as long as they were in the fae dimension. They had brought some traps just in case they walked into any danger, but it would only last until they got to the gateway.

The walk to the gateway was rather silent as they didn't encounter any dangers along the way. There were a few landmarks that the children recognized such as the tree their dark fae friend used to talk to and the river they used to visit when they were much smaller. Though nothing compared to the opalite statue of the gatekeeper when they got to it.

They were ready for another adventure, or a rescue mission.Though they weren't the only ones on a mission.

Back in the human dimension in the pub sat Oscar and Lorraine, they had just watched their children leave. Leaving a million pairs of eyes stuck on the embarrassed pair. Lorraine placed her wine glass down after downing the rest of the glass and slumped back in her seat, shrinking away from any and all eyes which were pinned on her. Oscar looked around sternly , hoping to intimidate the onlookers so that they would look away.

It came to quite a surprise when three people walked up to the table . the three teenagers were about their children's age and so Oscar and Lorraine waited for one of them to throw an insult, assuming they were their children's friends from school or something.

Who seemed to be the leader of the group had longish black hair, dark eyes and wore dark clothing. They seemed to be the kind of person Lorraine would sneer at under any other circumstances , perhaps tell them that it wasn't halloween yet if she felt confident enough. It was this person who spoke first. "Hello! That was rather awkward wasn't it? But i couldn't' help overhear and i wanted to let you know that i completely agree."

The couple were just staring at them with wide eyes out of shock. They were expecting to be hit with something completely different , they never would have thought that someone was going to agree with what they had to say , after all their opinions were only based upon hearing the gender of their children's partners, something that wasn't very common in the society then and there.

"Really?" Oscar asked with furrowed eyebrows. He didn't completely agree with his wife's way of telling their children that they were going to travel with them. He was skeptical that three teenagers would approach them after what had just happened and agree with the chaos that had went down.

"Completely." The blonde female replied with a enthusiastic nod of her head. "Oh we didn't really introduce ourselves. I'm very sorry about that. My name is Erin, this is Alex and Brandon. We're friends with your children."
