He set the cage on my bedside table. Then he picked up a wrapped box from a different table and set it by the door, making it completely impossible for me to get out.

Then he left the room, mumbling something about talking to Will.

Will, please hurry!

- Wpov -

I sprinted down the halls as fast as I could. I had to find him.

I turned a corner and crashed into someone. We both fell to the floor. I looked up at who I ran into, and saw my dad.

I glared at him and stood back up. "Where is he?"

He stood up too, then. "I'm afraid I don't know who you're talking about. You'll have to be more specific."

I grabbed him and shoved him against the wall. "Where is he?!"

"Oh, hey, now. You wouldn't hurt your poor old father, now would you?"

"Tell me where Nico is!"

"Now that's better. You have to be specific, son. Now, hmm. I believe he followed me. So I just defended myself."

I paled. "Is he alive?!"

"Oh, yes, he's fine." He said and I relaxed, "For now."

I tightened my grip. "You will not hurt him."

"Correction: I will not hurt him if you agree to let me marry you off to whomever I wish."

My heart fell to the floor, and I was so shocked that he was able to shove me off him.

"W-who?"

"Oh, I don't know, maybe I'll find a nice girl-" he put extra emphasis on the word girl, "for you."

I didn't say anything.

"No? Ah, well, I guess I'll just hand your friend over to Hera then..."

"No!" I swallowed nervously. "No. Don't hurt him."

"Alright. I'll hide him somewhere safe, then. Then I'll start looking into different princesses." He walked away.

Tears threatened to spill, but I couldn't cry. Not in front of my dad.

I saved him, but now I'd have to marry a princess.

-Apollo's POV-

I knew he'd choose that. And that stupid queen had thought I was going to kill the neko. But I couldn't do that if it meant my son wouldn't marry a princess.

She also thought I'd kill Will (that rhymes!) but what's the point of that?

I'm not on Hera's side.

I'm not on Will's.

I'm on my own.

And I have a plan.

I stood there for a moment, frozen. My heart was beating out of my chest.

Then someone tapped my shoulder. I didn't move.

"Will."

I knew that voice. It belonged to my old boyfriend, Octavian.

We had been dating before Nico came along, and he hadn't forgave me for dating Nico.

I spun around."Go away, Octavian."

"No. Listen, Will."

"No."

"Will, I want you back! Please, come with me and we can live without all this drama- without your dad! We could be happy. Don't you want that?"

"I want Nico."

"You can't have him, Will! Apollo promised Hera that he'd kill him!"

"I'll save him."

"This isn't going to stop, Will! Come with me! We could be happy!"

"You would be happy. I wouldn't be."

"Will, please-"

"No." I said. "Leave me alone."

"Will-"

"You tried to kill him!"

"You cheated on me!"

"You told him I'd betray him!"

"How was I to know you wouldn't? You betrayed me."

"Octavian-"

"Everything I did was to get you back, Will. Please don't turn me down."

I shook my head.

- Octavian's POV -

I tried breaking them up.

I tried to warn Nico.

I tried to kill Nico to get Will back.

None of it worked.

And he's still turning me down.

- Npov - (There are a ton of POV changes in this chapter...)

I didn't know what to do. I couldn't make a sound or Hera could find and kill me. I couldn't do anything. It was killing me.

Then Apollo came back into the room. He picked up my cage and carried it outside the room, into the old room for nekos, where I had spent so much of my life in.

"Stay in here." He told me, but it's not like I had a choice.

I was stuck here.
