Personality: Brae is an incredibly anxious kid. The son of a Peacekeeper, his dad gets death threats on a weekly basis from angry citizens. Some have even threatened him. Because of this, he has always been cautious wherever he goes, which will become useful in the Games. However, this is not the end of the matter. Two years ago, Brae was diagnosed with severe anxiety. This problem has only gotten worse over time, and today he is afraid to step out of the house. He has learned to make sure he hides it to the best of his abilities, and he hopes that his parents and other skills will be able to win the sponsors over. He is also intelligent despite his condition, and some see him as charismatic.

Physical Description: Brae has long brown hair that sweeps across his deep hazel eyes. He sands at a solid five foot eight, and has a slim yet muscular build. A runner's body, if you will. He enjoys distance running, but despises most other physical activity. Hey, everybody has their niche. Though he doesn't smile much, his grin is quite radiant. More often, you'll see the edges of his mouth turned slightly up in what seems to almost be a smirk. He has soft, agile hands from playing his cello, one of his favorite hobbies. In fact, he has one of the few instruments still in District Eleven. Hey, it's a privilege being the son of the Head Gamekeeper almost as often as it is a burden.

Background: Ever since he was a young boy, Brae has heard of the wonders that the Reapings do for Panem. They keep the citizens in line, and provide them with entertainment. His father has always admired President Snow and his ability to make difficult decisions, so Brae grew up in a culture where the Capitol was supported. However, as he went on, he was exposed to many anti-Capitol sentiments. He's seen both sides of the story, and is not sure how he feels about these Games. One thing is for sure, though. He will survive.

Weapon of Choice: Brae's father felt it was important to train him in case he were to ever follow in his dad's footsteps, so he is quite proficient in hand-to-hand combat, knife work, and firing a gun. His weakness lies in swords, he was never able to figure out how to move them quick enough and was always just a split second behind his father.

District Token: A woven bracelet made out of the strings of his cello. Though most in Panem find music to be of little importance, in District Eleven many see its significance. Before he left, he was visited by his boyfriend Lucas, who gave it to him. He considers himself to be in love, and will do anything to return home to Lucas.
