Let go of my hand. Closed off, cold, and brilliant. Those are the words most people would use to describe Davinia Van Doren. Although she's not as sure of herself as she seems, her general aura is strong and overbearing, no matter how far from the truth it really is. For the most part she just wants to lock herself up in her room and never come out.

• backstory •

For most of her life, Davinia was alone. Her mother was always out, doing whatever she did, cursing the child who ruined her life. She stayed home most of her days, reading her potions books and tinkering with magic mirrors and such. Her mother never treated her as a daughter- that is, until, she figured out Davinia had inherited all the abilities her mother used to have. When she figured out Davinia could be useful, around the girl's 13th year, she tried to pretend she had always been the best mother, trying to convince Davinia that she loved her.

Likes- Potions, fire, bright lights, reading, and staying out of people's lives.

Dislikes- being touched (at all, by anyone), having to explain herself, working with others.
