Five

Arriving at the Boarding school with her sisters in toe was something that Stephanie was almost dreading, the taxi sped off after they stepped out, leaving them at the front door bag in hand, the doors quickly opened and they were greeted by a familiar face, the face of Alaric Saltzman, their step-grandfather in their dimension.

"You must be the girls Bonnie sent." Alaric greeted, "Stephanie, Miranda and Jennifer Williams." the three girls nodded and looked at the older man, "How did you meet Bonnie?" the twins looked at their sister as she easily claimed "She took us in after our parents were killed by vamps."

Alaric nodded at Stephanie and said sympathetically "I'm sorry for your loss, I lost a few people on account of vampires myself." once again the girls nodded, knowing all too well about Alaric's losses. "Well how about I give you the tour of the school while everyone is still waking up." he offered, pushing the door behind him wider for the girls to enter.

"Do we start classes today?" Mandy quizzed, looking around the foyer with curious eyes, "No, we give new students 24 hours to adjust themselves, unless they arrive on the weekend of course." Alaric chuckled but seeing as none of the girls laughed he quickly cleared his throat. "Well, the twins will share a bedroom for obvious reasons but I'm afraid that Stephanie will have to share."

The tour lasted a good while and eventually students began to leave the cafeteria and heading to classes, pointing at the three sisters and whispering about them, all of which was ignored as they continued to follow Alaric. Once done, much to the twins' happiness, Alaric and Stephanie left the twins in their new room before going to Stephanie's new quarters,

The door was pushed open by Alaric to reveal the sight of Hope Marshall sitting on her bed with a drawing book on her lap, she quickly lifted her head with a frown, ready to berate anyone who dared come into her room when her light blue eyes latched onto Stephanie's figure, "Stephanie... Hey...." she quickly greeted, getting off her bed, "Hope." Stephanie smiled, pleased that she was sharing a room with someone she knew and cared about rather than a possible bitch.

"You two know each other?" Alaric quizzed, his brows furrowed, "Yeah, we danced a couple of days ago at the Square." Stephanie replied, smiling at the girl and setting her bags down by the fireplace, "Days ago? Bonnie said that you'd arrive today in Mystic Falls." He baffled, "We arrived a little bit earlier to see the town, nothing too big." she quickly deflected making Alaric huff.

Seeing that he wasn't going to get a better reply than that, he merely set the box that contained Stephanie's uniform, books, notebooks, writing material and essentials on Stephanie's new bed before walking out, muttering something along the lines of don't do anything that I wouldn't do.

"You weren't kidding when you said that you were going to attend the Boarding school." Hope laughed, for the first time in days, which was met by Stephanie humming, "May I ask what you are?" Hope tried, "Human but since I've been affected by the supernatural, it was decided that I'd come here with my sisters." The hazel-eyed brunette replied, peering over at the auburn-haired teen.

Hope nodded and sat once more on her bed, a sight that had Stephanie's heart clench again, the sight was so familiar, only it was Hope's bed back in New Orleans that the auburn-haired girl was sitting on, a sight so seductive and inviting that the human had trouble not staring at it. "You?" she questioned instead, voice slightly breathy as if she was trying to keep the air from entering her lungs.

"I'm a tribrid..." Hope started, knowing that her heritage would break out over the next few days and that Stephanie was going to hear a lot of things about her that she didn't wish for the brunette to know. "Is one of those species angel because you are a clear sight from the heavens above." Stephanie joked absentmindedly, the words coming from her lips before she could even stop them.

And the result that came from them was a deep blush etching on Hope's pale cheeks, a blush that Stephanie didn't see as she was putting her things away, "No." Hope laughed awkwardly, Stephanie didn't need Hope to tell her, she already knew but she didn't want the blue-eyed beauty to tell her out of fear.

"You don't have to tell me." the brunette quickly stated, turning back to the tribrid, "We just met and I don't really listen to rumours." Hope smiled at the brunette in appreciation, "Now, care to have a painting competition?"
