Chapter 13
»»----- ✼ -----««
It was Monday morning, my first day in my new school. I got up really early, but I was actually awake much longer, now that I think of it. I don't think I slept much, or even slept at all. Anyways, I got washed and then changed into this:
(Ignore the bag, you know which one Jungkook and Yoongi picked out for you.)
I packed a few things I knew I needed for my first day. I took my bag downstairs with me and sat down at the table.
'I see you're all ready to go' Jin said as he noticed me in the kitchen.
'Yeah, I'm actually really excited' I said.
'You can help yourself to whatever is in the fridge or cupboards for your breakfast' Jin said. I nodded and he left the room, probably in search of the others.
Once again I took out my sketchbook and started to draw a bit, because I wasn't really hungry. Butterflies flew around in my stomach filling all the space for food. At that moment Namjoon came into the kitchen and sat across from me.
'I'm going to drive you to school, is that alright? We just don't want you to have to walk there all by yourself on your first day' He said.
'Yeah, that's fine'

So many people were looking in my direction and it was really making me uncomfortable. It was just the first day, and it's not going as splendidly as I thought it would.
'Hey' I heard a voice behind me, along with a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see a girl around my age, shoulder length hair with bangs and a bright smile. Also with her hand extended forward towards me. 'I'm Hana' she said and I shook her hand.
'I'm Mina, nice to meet you' I replied back.
'You must be a newbie. I don't think I've seen you before, at least not in this class.' Hana said.
'Yeah, it's actually my first day'
'Well, I'm guessing you're on your own here?'
'Yeah' I simply replied. I guess it was pretty obvious. I wasn't exactly fitting in. So much for a first impression, I'm the only one wearing shorts. And one of only two girls that aren't wearing pink. The other one being Hana.
'You can hang with me, if you want' she said. That is probably the best thing I've heard, since I step foot into the school.
'Cool, thanks' I shyly said. At that the teacher came in. And of course she couldn't just let me stay seated, she made me stand up and introduce myself.
'We have a new pupil in our class, stand up and tell us a few things about yourself' The teacher said ushering me to get up. I wasn't going to be rude and disobey the teacher so I stood up, ready to introduce myself.
'Hello, my name is Mina and I just transferred here, please take care of me!' I said as I bowed and then went back to sitting down. Then class started as a normal one would.

We have a free period in this class, History, so as usual I always have my notepad on me so I just drew. I drew a few characters from my favourite movies and I also wrote an entry to say how my first day was. I do it sometimes on the back of a drawing, to remind me of what was happening when I was drawing it.
I would have of course talked to Hana and got to know her better. But unfortunately she wasn't taking this class, but she did say that she would meet me outside this classroom straight after so we can go to lunch together. She's such a nice person, she doesn't even know me that well and is being so nice and kind towards me. I wish everyone could be as friendly as her.
I looked around the classroom to see what the other students were doing. To be honest most of them were just goofing around, or talking girl talk and gossip, or just had their face stuck on their phone. No surprise there.
After class Hana was waiting outside the classroom, just like she said she would be. 'Ready to go to lunch?' She asked and I nodded. She linked arms with me and headed towards the cafeteria, I presumed. I was surprised when she linked arms with me. But I stayed in the same position either way.
As we waited in the line at the canteen, we started to talk and get to know each other a bit better. We told each other our likes, dislikes, hobbies, what our favourite songs were, what sports we like, our favourite foods and a lot more. Then Hana directed me towards the table she always sat at during lunch. We stayed there talking for a while before a group of girls, wearing neon pink that looked dreadful, approached us.
'Girl! You must be new, I've never seen you before.' One of them says to me. I don't know why they would say that so randomly. Maybe there just trying to be nice? But she said it so loud, I think half the people here turned around to see what the commotion was.
'Uh, yeah actually.' I replied. They all shone bright smiles, but as soon as their gaze fell on Hana the smiles faded away, all at once.
'I don't think you should be hanging out with her. She could cause you a lot of trouble. Come with us instead, we'll show you real friendship.' She said looking back at me, with a fake smile. I can notice it anywhere. I've gotten many of these types of people in my past. I don't need to make another mistake.
'I think I can choose my own friends, thanks for the offer though.' I replied. I looked back at Hana who now had wide eyes staring at me. I still felt the presence of the other girls so I turned back to the girls, and gave them a confused look.
'I'm sorry if I didn't make it clear enough, but I meant Hana.' I said, hoping they would leave. Their presence is making me more than just a slight bit uncomfortable.
'You're going to regret this, you know that right?' The girl said, and left our table. I turned back to Hana once again, but this time she was smiling with a few tears in her eyes.
'Thank you' she said in an almost whisper, as a tear went down her face. I quickly wiped it off and she let out a giggle, while completely wiping her eyes getting rid of the other tears.
'For what?' I asked.
'No one has ever really done that. They usually go with them girls once they have the chance to, leaving me behind. But you stayed with me, so thank you.' She said.
'What are friends for?'

'I'll see you tomorrow then!!' Hana shouted exiting the school grounds.
'Bye!' I shouted back, waving. I walked on towards the place Namjoon told me to go to. He was parked there, waiting for me. I knocked on the window, indicating to unlock the car. He did so and I climbed into the passenger side. I buckled in and we started to drive.
'How was school today?' Namjoon asked, breaking the silence. I shrugged my shoulders while trying to think about all that happened today.
'It was alright, I did make a friend though. She was really nice, kind, fun to hang around with, and overall a great person. Today's actually been a good day.' I said.
Namjoon let out a sigh of relief. I smiled a bit when he did, I think I just felt as though he was hoping to hear that. And that he cared about me, I don't know, but I was happy. Because maybe that was the reason.
'I'm glad to hear that, Jin and I were worrying about you a lot today. The other members too, but they were just trying to calm Jin down. He went a bit overboard in his theories, we'll call them.' He said, and I let out a laugh.
I guess they actually were worrying about me. I have such a great family, I wouldn't change it for the world.

A/N Sorry if this chapter was a bit short, or if it was boring. The exciting chapters are coming up soon enough. And for this chapter question, it's from Hana:
'What is you favourite subject in school?'
