Dena and Emily were arriving early, 7 am to be exact. Tim tried to convince Caroline to sleep in while he picked them up at the airport but she would not give in.

"Nope, no way. I'm going with you" she laughed grabbing her cap and sunglasses. She found as long as she could keep her eyes shaded somewhat, the headaches weren't as often or severe, allowing her to enjoy being outside and more active.

Tim raised his hands in defeat "I know enough not to stop you" he laughed back before heading to the car.

The sun was just beginning to rise as they headed towards the main road. "I know they are going to love it here" Caroline said watching the changing colors in the sky.

"What's not to love. The amazing sunrises, sunsets, the clean ocean air and beaches. It's truly paradise" Tim replied.

"Wake up Emily, we're getting ready to land" Dena said nudging her daughter. Emily yawned "I'm awake" with her eyes half opened. "Seriously Em, it was only a 3 hour direct flight.  I swear you can sleep at the drop of a hat" Dena teased. "Just resting up, I plan on being busy enjoying the sights" she replied fastening her seat belt. "Emily, just remember Caroline has to take it easy. That's the whole reason for them being here, we need to keep that in mind" Dena reminded her.

"We should have made a huge sign so tbey could find us" Caroline giggled looking through all the people at the airport.

"It is quite busy here today, hopefully there flight is on time" Tim expressed looking for their number on the flight status board.

"Tim, Caroline!!" He turned hearing the high pitched squeal of their names. 

"Yup, they're here " he stated laughing hearing Emily yell their names. Emily ran to them, leaving her mother to make her way through the crowd alone. She jumped up into Tim's arms " hey big brother " she squealed again giving him a huge hug.

"Hey squirt" he hugged her tightly "where did you leave Momma".

"She's right behind me" she replied turning around not seeing her "Oops, uh oh, she was there a minute ago"

Tim put her down, heading through the crowd to find his Mom while Caroline and Emily squealed in excitement while they hugged. Tim found Dena not too far into the crowd "Momma, there you are, you ok" he asked with a smile. She grabbed him into a tight hug " Yes, I take it your sister found you" she replied. She then stepped back, "look at you all tan and have you lost weight?" she remarked.  "A little, beach life has had alot to do with it" he smiled as they headed back towards the girls.

Once they grabbed their baggage and had it packed in the trunk they headed towards the bungalow Tim had rented for their stay. It was just a short walk down the beach from his and Carolines.

"I thought you might want to settle in a bit before planning anything, especially since your flight was so early" he commented carrying in their bags with Emily's help.

"Well I would like to freshen up a bit, maybe take a short nap" Dena replied.

"Not me, I am so ready to explore" Emily chimed in with excitement.

"Of course says the girl who slept the entire flight" said Dena with a hint of sarcasm.

"Em, why not give your mom a couple hours, then we can head out for breakfast and we'll plan our week together " Caroline suggested, noticing that Dena did look a bit tired.

Tim gave Emily a quick nod towards their mom. She knew they were right.  Dena hadn't gotten much sleep the night before leaving, tieing up loose ends at the church so they could make the trip. "Ok, I guess I can wait. I'll unpack while you rest Momma " she replied. Tim gave her a wink in approvement of her choice.

"Ok, we'll head back to our place. Momma, just call or text when you're ready. No need to rush, that's the beauty of island life." Tim stated as he and Caroline gave them each a hug before heading back to their place.

"Darlin, did you take your meds before we left" Tim asked following Caroline inside.

"All but the one I'm supposed to take with food.  I was waiting till we decided where we will be going" she replied.

"Not knowing how long before they'll be ready, maybe you should take it now with some fruit or yogurt" he suggested "just to be sure to keep your levels from dropping".

Caroline agreed as she took a container of yogurt out of the fridge, before pouring a tablet into her palm. Tim sat down at the table, opening his laptop. "I think I'll start searching for a few more things they may like to see while they are here" he told her as she began to walk away.  " You ok" he asked turning towards her. "Yes, just going on the porch to eat" she replied before leaning down giving him a quick kiss. "You may want to find a little nightlife for your sister to enjoy while she's here too" she smiled before heading out the door.

"Emily and a night out to party, this should be interesting" he laughed aloud while beginning his search.

Dena settled into her bedroom while Emily unpacked in hers. She asked her not to let her sleep more than 2 hours, she didn't want Tim and Caroline to disrupt there routine by having to wait for her. Emily set the alarm on her phone to be sure to wake her.

Once unpacked, Emily began to check out the house and the view of the ocean with Tim and Caroline's place from the front porch. She settled herself in one of the lounge chairs enjoying the warm ocean breeze as she daydreamed about life in such a beautiful place. "I could definitely get used to this" she said out loud before she too dozed off.
