Nue's POV

I grunted in pain when the Kiragani Blade was pulled out of my stomach. "I apologize for doing this to you, Nue-sama." Maria apologized as Healer #1 was healing the cuts on my arms and Healer #2 was healing my stomach.

I'm calling them that because I had no idea who they are and... well, needless to say, I don't know their names. "Don't worry about it. But can someone please tell me what the hell is going on? How did I get here?" I asked Maria as a Leaf Village ninja was healing me.

"We're in the middle of war, Nue-sama. A lot has happened while you were unconscious. Sasuke, Jugo, and others found you in a water tank, behind the wall of a hideout." Maria explained. "Do you remember anything?" Jugo asked.

"I remember Kabuto and Madara capturing me and I was in a water tank. I couldn't wake up because of a Kiragani substance that was flowing into my veins." I explained. "Madara Uchiha?" Maria repeated.

"No, it wasn't the real him. It was a different one. Some impersonating him, trying to act like him." I said. "That must've been Obito." Maria informed. "Obito?" I repeated. "Obito is a friend of Kakashi's. We all assumed he was dead, but he lived somehow." She explained.

"Where's Megumi?" Jugo asked. "She's dead. Madara killed her. Karin! Where is she?" I asked.

"She's fine. She's with Suigetsu and Orochimaru."

"And Naruto?"

"He, Sasuke, and Sakura headed in the Ten-Tails' direction." Healer #1 said.

"What?! Are they crazy?! They're going to get themselves killed!"

"Nue-sama, what are you doing?" Maria asked as I was attempting to get to my feet. "To save them." I answered. "But you're hurt! And your injuries haven't healed yet!" Maria said as she forced me to sit back down.

"Nue, please don't move. You're wounds-"

"Fuck my wounds! I have to help my friends!" I yelled at Healer #2. "Your language certainly hasn't changed." Maria mentioned with a sweat drop. "Well, I just can't sit here and do nothing, Maria! I have to help them!" I argued.

"I understand, but with your injuries, there's not much you can do. Please, allow me to help them instead." Maria proposed. "No way! Look at yourself! You're a bigger mess than I am! You're the one who should be getting heled right now! Not me!" I said.

"Nue-sama," 

"I understand you wish to help. But right now, you must be healed. I'll go help Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. Everything will be fine." Maria assured me. I trusted Maria with my life, but I wasn't so sure about this idea.

I continued to let the ninja heal me as Maria rose to her feet. "Maria, wait." I said, stopping her. "Just... make sure you come back to me alive." I said. "Is that an order, Nue-sama?" She asked. "No," I said, shaking my head. "It's not an order. A promise."

Maria blinked her eyes in surprise before smiling a small smile and taking a knee, bowing to me. "Hai... Nue-sama." She said. She lifted her head to look at me, then ran off. "Good luck... Maria." I whispered as I prayed for her to come back to me alive.

I sighed to myself, feeling useless just lying here and letting this healer heal me. "Don't worry, Nue. Your maid is a strong shinobi. She won't fail you. I guarantee it." Jugo said, trying not to have me stress over Maria for fighting alone.

"Thanks, Jugo." I said. I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath, and opened them. I looked towards the direction of the Ten Tails as I could've swore I saw Eun running towards the battlefield. When did she get out and what does she plan on doing?

Eun's POV

Man, I thought I'd never get out of Nue's body. The moment she fell asleep in that tank, I was completely disconnected from her, even when she was out of the tank. I was able to get back online with her after she awoken. 

Unfortunately, she wasn't in her right mind at the moment. But luckily for me, I was using some of her chakra to restore my power and get the hell out of there. But enough of the chitchat. Time for me to have some fun.

Once I got to the battlefield, I levitated above the ninjas as they fought against Obito. "Having trouble, are we?" I asked, floating down to them. "Nue-chan! You're back to normal?" Naruto asked. "I'm not Nue." I stated as I stood next to him.

"Eh?" Naruto looked at me as confusion was written all over his face. "Nue's twin sister?" Sakura guessed. "Nope." I answered, shaking my head. "Then... who are you?" Sakura asked.

"My name's Eun. I'm the thing that lives inside your teammate. Don't worry, she's fine. One of your healers are healing her wounds from the battle she had with Maria." I explained. "How can we trust you? How do we know you're not just trying to let our guard down so you can attack?" Sasuke asked, suspiciously. "True, I could be lying to you this very instant, but this time, you're gonna have to trust me. Boulder!" I warned as a huge boulder was about to come down on all three of them. 

I quickly leaped towards the boulder and punched it, causing it to smash into small pebbles. I landed on the ground in a kneeling position as the small pebbles fell on my head. Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto stared at me with their jaws hanging open. 

I smirked, rose to my feet, and faced them. "Still think you can't trust me, Sasuke?" I asked, cockily, as I brushed the dust off my shoulders. "Hey, I think I might be stronger than you, Sakura. Who knows? Maybe even smarter."

"Cha! I'd watch it if I were you!" Sakura threatened. "Ooh, I'm so scared. I'm shaking in my shoes," I taunted with a laugh. "But anyway, enough fun and games. Time to take this guy down," I said, looking at Obito. "I'll cover you guys. Just try to weaken him, okay?"

"Yeah!"

I nodded to them and we jumped into action.

Maria's POV

I continued to run forward as I heard a scream come from Obito. "What's happening?" I asked. "Maria!" Tobirama called to me. "Maria, you must stop Madara! Hurry!" Hashirama said. "Hai!" Maria responded, and ran towards Madara.

"You again..." Madara glanced over, noticing me coming at him. "You're starting to get on my nerves. You already took my pet, now you wanna try and stop me." He said. "I already told you, Nue-sama is not your pet!" I snapped.

I jumped in the air and aimed to punch him as he sat there with a smirk on his face. "Wait a second... He's...! Maria, stop!" I heard Hashirama yell. I gasped when Madara suddenly stood up and grabbed my throat.

"You're really becoming a bother. Don't say Nue's not my pet when she clearly is," He said with a bored look. "Like hell... she is..." I grunted as he began to squeeze my throat tightly. My left eye closed in pain as I tried to kick him away.

"You think you've won just because you've got Nue back? No. You see, I have other ways of getting my beloved pet back to me." Madara said. He hasn't even known Nue for that long and he's already calling her his "beloved pet".

"Maira!" Tobirama and Hashirama attempted to run forward and save me, but Madara said, "If you come any closer, I'll snap her neck."

'My body... There's so much pain' I thought. My wounds from Nue's attacks haven't healed. Mostly because I didn't have a healer heal them. I tried not to show how much pain I was in, but Madara quickly saw through my façade.

"Heh. Look like your wounds haven't healed yet. Nue must've really done a number on you. That means this should hurt a lot." Madara said before grabbing my side. He squeezed it tightly, making me cry out in pain as my eyes closed tightly.

"Maria!"

"Madara, let her go!"

Madara glanced at them and smirked. "Sure." He said. I gasped while coughing up blood when Madara punched a hole beneath my heart. Hashirama and Tobirama gasped in shock as I felt my body shaking from the attack.

"Here, you can have her back now." Madara said before tossing my body over to the two Hokages. My body made a soft thud when I made impact with the ground. "Maria!" Tobirama said as he was quickly by my side.

I glanced up at him as my vision was slowly fading to black. "Maria, hold on! Hang in there!" He said. The rest of his words were mute as I struggled to keep my eyes open. "Nue... sama..." I whispered while tears ran down my cheeks. I want to see her... I want to see Nue-sama again...

I don't want to leave her side. I promised that I would return to her. Everything is fading and I can hardly hear anything. Is it really going to end like this?

Nue-sama... will be most... displeased...

Nue's POV

"Are you guys done healing me yet?" I impatiently asked Healer #1 and #2. "We're almost done." Healer #2 replied. I looked at my wounds, seeing that most of them were here. "That's good enough. Thanks." I said, standing to my feet.

"Nue, wait! You're wound could open up again!" Healer #2 called. "Let me handle that!" I called back as I ran in Maria's direction. I couldn't wait her for to return to me. I have to make sure she's okay. "Maria!" I called, looking around.

I spotted Tobirama and Hashirama as they were huddling over a figure. "Oi, what's going on? What are you guys staring at?" I asked as I ran over to them. "Nue... You shouldn't be here. You don't want to see this." Tobirama said.

"What are you talking? What don't I wanna see?" I asked, frowning. I pushed him out of the way and gasped when I saw Maria lying on the ground with a hole beneath where her heart was located. "Maria..." I said in disbelief.

"Nue... sama..." Maria looked up at me and gave me a weak smile. She struggled to get up as blood poured from her wound. "I'm sorry... Nue-sama..." Maria said as she walked towards me, blood dripping from her wound with each step she took.

"I'm afraid... I couldn't keep my promise... Please... forgive... me..."

Maria finally fell forward, leaning against my body as I held her. Tears spilled over my face as my bangs covered my eyes. "Maria... But you promised me! You promised you'd come back to me alive!" I yelled. "Maira... Please don't go... I need you... Please..."

I fell to my knees as I held Maria in my lap. "Maria..." I whispered as I placed my hand on her cheek. Her skin felt so cold and wet, telling she had shed a few tears before she died. "Nue, I... I'm sorry..." Hashirama said as he placed her hand over my shoulder. 

"Murder..." I mumbled. "Maria was murdered... by a human..."

I smirked as I finally figured it out. "I finally understand. This whole time, you had me convinced I was the monster... when all along... the real monster was you humans." I said. I looked at Hashirama and Tobirama as they gasped.

"Murderers... That's all I see now in you humans." I said.

Hashirama's POV

"Nue, calm down. You're not yourself." I said, trying to reason with her. Her eyes weren't red anymore and they weren't purple either. Instead, they were glowing a gold color. 

"Maria was my maid, my friend, my family. How could you let her die like that? Why didn't you save her?" Nue asked as tears ran down her cheeks. "We tried, but it was too late. There was nothing we could do." Tobirama said. 

"Nothing you could do? Heh... I've heard that phrase before. They're nothing but lies." Nue said. Tobirama and I shielded ourselves as Nue let out a huge wind around her.

"Please... just die." Nue said before a power burst out of her, nearly sending us away.

"AAAAHHHHH!!!!"

Nue's form completely changed as her hair grew long and turned white while her arms grew into the arms of a tiger with black feathered wings emerging from her back. "This isn't good." I said. "Definitely not good."

Orochimaru's POV

"What's wrong, Lord Orochimaru?" Karin asked as she noticed I turned my head towards the Ten-Tails' location. "It's Nue... She's activated her curse mark." I informed. "She's awake?!" She said. "Why would she activate her curse mark? Is she fighting?" Suigetsu asked

"No, she's not fighting." I said. 'Rage. Sadness. Hatred. These are all Nue's emotions' I thought. "Hey, stop standing there like a statue! What's happening?" Suigetsu asked. "If Nue's not fighting, then what's she doing?" Karin asked. 

I didn't answer as I continued to feel Nue's emotions. She's emotionally in pain and her heart is being consumed by darkness with every passing second. I've got to get to Nue before she starts rampaging. There's no telling what she might do when she's in this state.
