Ch. 4; Classes
Chapter 4; Classes (Brianna's)
~~Brianna's PoV~~
I couldn't help but laugh at my roommate as she walked in front of me, her shoes making weird sounds since the had water in them.
"Stop giggling!" She demanded, but she laughed a little too. I rolled my eyes as a smirk played on my lips. It felt nice to have friends to laugh with. "We're going to be late to class!" She screeched, face palming as she looked at her watch. I looked around nervously.
"Come on." I said suddenly, grabbing her arm and walking in a rather fast pace. Dashing past several people, we eventually made our way to room 1603.
"Well, looks like we have this class together, at least." Heaven pointed out as we walked in. Students were excitedly chatting and sitting in random desks, that probably weren't assigned to them. I looked around for any other people I'd met so far. Yay... Dassie Del was here. Now, let's get this straight; Shadow and Trixie are both jerks sometimes. Actually, most of the time. But Shadow has a good side (I think so, anyway). Trixie is just a prankster who is slightly spoiled, but she's pretty nice, really. But Dassie?... Well, I don't know about her...
Just my luck, in this class I got to sit besides her. Heaven was seated two seats in front of me. I knew I was suppose to be paying attention to class but instead I studied Dassie. Underneath her fray hoodie I realized she had bright orange eyes, shining really really brightly. They look like fire was trapped inside them. Her hair was straight and a raven black color, but one white streak hung besides her face. I sighed, she was probably the type to abuse her powers.
"Hi," I whispered to her, keeping my eyes on the teach so we wouldn't be caught
"...Hey." She responded, almost silently. I felt a small smile tug my cheeks but let it wash back to a plain look.
"You remember me, right?" I muttered. She made a low chuckling sound.
"Well, duh!" She answered, I snickered in reply. By the time class was over, I was more than ready to leave.

Why is what's-her-face trying to be so nice all of a sudden? It's not like we're friends, or are we? I don't really know. I don't feel very welcomed in that group, to be honest. I mean, I'm a villain. Well, I'm not, but my father was. He used his magic for wrong doings; to get what he wanted.
Even at my young age, his legacy has been passed to me. I don't want to be evil, though. But either way... I wasn't sure if making friends was right for me right now. Sure, I decided to sit with them... Huh, maybe I was lonely, after all? Though, that doesn't matter. It's still complicated.
I quickly grabbed my books and walked out of class, deciding to take my time getting to my next class. This next class, I noticed, hat two familiar people in it; Trixie and... Shadow... Whose genius idea was it to put both of them in the same class?

I smiled sarcastically as I looked up ahead at the teacher of this class, who was teaching a lesson on Shakespeare. This school had many classes for magic and well, everything (It was school for magic, after all). Though, they also had the basic subjects of traditional American schooling, since this was also an American school.
"Now, here's what I want you to do, write a philosophy on Romeo and Juliet." The teacher said suddenly. I felt a smile on my face.
"That's a good one! One of the best love stories of the world-"
"It's not a love story, it's just stupid." Cut in another voice. I looked over and saw Shadow sitting there, her hands folded on her desk.
"What do you mean?! It's true love if you die for someone!" I argued. Already, students were giving us weird looks.
"It wasn't true love; just a sick obsession! They were too young to fall in actual love!" Shadow complained, clearly getting annoyed.
"It was real love!"
"Real love doesn't even exist!" She snapped, I paused and blinked blankly at her.
"You're just a cold, meaningless person to believe that." I muttered, eyes narrowed at her. Before she could reply, the teacher cut in.
"Girls! Enough fighting!" The teacher demanded, Shadow and I both instantly shut our mouths and looked away from each other. Shadow looked out the row of windows, I looked at the teacher.
"Actually, the entire philosophy of the story line is love, you idiots." Another voice muttered, I sent a little smirk in Dassie's direction. Shadow just huffed.
...This whole friendship thing? It's going to be harder than I thought if we can't even get along in class.
