1.8 Phantomhive War
"We need to go to the Grim Reaper library."
Sebastian stood in front of his young master, who had just learned what had happened to his adopted sister. Ciel's reaction was not as crazy as his butler's, but he was still distressed over the entire ordeal.
"Why can't I just order her to come here?" Ciel asks.
Sebastian shakes his head, "Y/n's sister is the one in control now. Angela will not let Y/n obey your orders. She will hear you calling for her, but she will have to ignore you."
"Damn it to the gates of Hell," Ciel growled.
Adrianna stood behind Sebastian, trying to come up with a plan in order to save her best friend. Being half Grim Reaper, she knew William would not willingly hand over the vial containing the antidote.
"I have an idea. My father may have some of the antidote in his shop. He has a lot of things from the Grim Reaper realm."
Sebastian's eyes lit up with hope. There was a chance he would be able to save his wife. He only hoped the payment was going to be laughter, and nothing more than that.
The group of three left the manor in search of the antidote. They left the three servants to care for Scarlett.
What they did not know was that danger would appear at the manor shortly thereafter.
---
Adrianna led the way to the Undertaker's shop, pushing past the people in the bustling town. The tension in the air was thick as if everyone had a feeling that something catastrophic were to take place soon.
Nevertheless, the group continued walking until they stopped in front of Undertaker's gloomy looking shop. It had a giant purple sign saying 'Undertaker.' A gold border surrounded the rectangular sign, as well as a skull perched on top of it. No ordinary townsfolk would venture near the shop unless they needed a casket.
Ciel knocked on the big, gothic designed door and stepped back. The door opened and revealed the Undertaker in his usual black robe and long top hat. He smiled, showing an array of sharp teeth.
"Come in," he said with a creepy tone.
They walk in and stand silently, waiting for Undertaker to close the door.
"Adrianna, it has been a while since I have seen you," Undertaker says.
"Hello, Father," she replies.
"What brings you three here? Whatever happened to the lovely Y/n? She usually accompanies you on your business," Undertaker notes.
"Our business here is about Y/n. There is a possibility an angel has erased her memory," Ciel explains.
"And you want the antidote to cure it, which you think I have here," Undertaker concludes.
Ciel nods his head, "Correct. Adrianna said there was a possibility you had some of the antidote here in your shop."
"Indeed. But I do require payment. For something like this, I usually charge more, but I like Y/n. Just for this, I only require the usual payment."
Adrianna steps forward and sighs, "Allow me."
"A man and his pet giraffe walk into a bar and start drinking. As the night goes on, they get drunk, and the giraffe finally passes out. The man decides to go home.
As he's leaving, the man is approached by the barkeeper who says, 'Hey, you're not gonna leave that lyin' here, are ya?'
'Hmph,' says the man. 'That's not a lion -- it's a giraffe.'"
By the time she finishes the joke, Adrianna has her father lying on the ground laughing. He curls up into a ball and tries to stop giggling. After a few minutes, the Undertaker has calmed down. His hands grasp a black casket as he pulls himself up.
With a few giggles here and there, the Undertaker walks towards a cabinet and rummages around until his hand grasps what he needs. He closes the cabinet and hands Sebastian a small vial containing a metallic looking liquid. Sebastian swirls the liquid around and gives the Undertaker a smile.
For once, the Undertaker gives Ciel a serious look. "Bring Lady Y/n back safely. I do miss her jokes."
Ciel looks to Sebastian and nods. "We will."
"Let's go back to the manor and devise a plan," Adrianna says. "If something does happen tonight, our first priority has to be Scarlett. We need to get her out of the country as soon as possible if things are going to get ugly."
"Agreed," Ciel replies.
"I cannot do much to help Y/n out now. I have no skills in fighting. I can take Scarlett to Italy, I have relatives there from my mother's side. Once everything has settled down, you and Y/n can come find me."
"As soon as we reach the manor, pack up some of Scarlett's stuff and go to Italy. I trust you can harvest souls since you are half Reaper?" Sebastian asks.
Adrianna nods her head, and the group continues running to Phantomhive Manor. Sebastian carries Ciel, while Adrianna does have enhanced speed thanks to her Reaper lineage. They get there just in time to see the manor burning down to the ground.
Thankfully, the three servants are out of the mansion and running to their young master. Sebastian sighs in relief when he sees that his precious daughter is unharmed. Mey-Rin gives the little princess to Sebastian, who cradles her in his arms.
"Young master! One minute we were showing little Scarlett the garden, and the next the manor is on fire! We noticed it immediately and ran with Scarlett here, yes we did!" Mey-Rin explains.
"Good job, you three," Ciel praises them.
"Young master, Pluto is the one who burnt down the manor. I heard some lady call his name, and his collar started glowing. Next thing you know, he's going bonkers and burning the place down. Now he's run off towards London," Bard adds.
Sebastian runs a hand through his hair. "I am afraid that this may only be the beginning of what is to come. The three of you need to head to London and take down Pluto. Be safe."
"Yes, sir!" They reply in unison.
The servants begin sprinting to London, intending to stop Pluto from destroying the city. Mey-Rin quickly grabs a sniper rifle, with Bard following her actions and doing the same. Mey-Rin tucks her glasses away into the pocket of her apron.
Sebastian gives Scarlett a kiss on the cheek before handing her over to Adrianna. Adrianna ties the baby pink blanket over one shoulder and places Scarlett in it. She turns to Sebastian and nods before running off into the woods.
"Sebastian, this is an order. Take us to London and save Y/n," Ciel commands.
He picks up his young master, eyes glowing fuchsia as a sign of his anger. Sebastian begins sprinting as quickly as possible towards London.
He was going to take back his wife.
A few minutes later, the duo encounters London, or what was left of it. The once bustling city filled with laughter and lively people was now engulfed in raging flames with people letting out blood-curdling screams all around. Women are calling out for their husbands, and children are screaming in terror, desperately trying to find their parents. People are running towards the docks, dodging falling items caught on fire.
London had fallen.
Sebastian and Ciel stand in the heart of the city, where most of the buildings were completely obliterated as the flames moved on to the farther parts. They hear a maniacal laugh as Angela appears across from them.
"Angela," Sebastian says coldly.
Even with the flames all around, his tone was enough to make anyone shiver.
"Sebastian, long time no see! What brings you here? Are you here to help me purify London?"
"I think we both know why we are here," he replies, setting his young master down.
Ciel walks over to the fountain, intending to stay away from Sebastian and Angela. He knew something was going to happen, and it would not be good.
"I want my wife back," Sebastian growls.
Angela laughs yet again, "You can have her back, but I do not think she wants you."
Sebastian snarls and flings a knife at Angela's head. Just as it was about to reach her, a shadow appears in front of her and easily blocks the knife. A hooded person gets down on one knee, grasping a large axe in their hand. They look up at Sebastian and give him a cold glare.
"Y/n," Sebastian breathes out.
Her eyes are no longer their usual silver. Instead, her entire eye was black, a sign of her memories being changed. "You stay away from my sister."
Angela gives Sebastian an evil smirk. "Y/n, why don't you teach this evil man a lesson? He is trying to stop us from purifying London. He has even tried to kill me on more than one occasion."
Y/n stands up and snarls at Sebastian. "Anyone who tries to kill my sister has to go through me."
She and Sebastian charge at each other. Y/n swings at Sebastian with Aetherius, but instead has her hand sliced off. Without having all her strength, Sebastian is at a huge advantage.
That still did not make it easy to take down Y/n. No, she was easily one of the strongest demons in existence. She also had to leave enough strength so that Angela did not get suspicious of her. Y/n picked up her severed hand and chanted something in Latin, which connected her hand to her arm again. Ciel used the distraction to toss Aetherius in the fountain. Quickly, he held onto a rosary he had and also chanted in Latin before dropping the rosary into the water.
Y/n runs forward to the water, about to reach in and grab Aetherius.
"I would not recommend doing that. That is holy water in the fountain."
Y/n growls and charges back at Sebastian, successfully punching him through a shop. Sebastian groans at the force of the impact and hits a wall. Y/n grabs him by the collar and slams him to the ground, not showing mercy.
Angry, Sebastian grabs Y/n by the neck and slams her against a wall. Y/n scratches at his hands, trying to find an escape.
"Young master, now!"
Ciel runs forward and grabs the antidote from his pocket, emptying the contents into Y/n's mouth. She tries to spit it out, but it has begun restoring her records to what they were before. Y/n goes limp and collapses to the ground unconscious. Sebastian crawls over and holds her head on his lap. A few minutes pass, and she shows no sign of waking up.
"Emuishere, please wake up," Sebastian pleads, "come back to us. Scarlett needs her mother. I need you."
Sebastian hugs his wife's limp body, holding her tight. He looks down at her.
"The Undertaker should have told us this would happen," Ciel fumes.
The duo hears a gasp and looks down at Y/n. She coughs and opens her eyes, immediately wrapping her arms around her husband. Sebastian gives her a kiss and holds her tight. They break apart, and Y/n crawls over to hug Ciel.
Once the hugging is over, they realize Angela is flying away. She flies towards London Bridge, which was still in construction. Near the site, they see Pluto on a rooftop, showing no signs of stopping. Mey-Rin and Bard are shooting him, with Finny using his strength against the demon hound. The injuries still did not slow down the creature.
"Y/n, take Pluto down in three hits," Sebastian orders.
She bows her head and runs towards the tall building.
"Three hits," she mumbles to herself.
Y/n takes a deep breath in and starts running up the side of the building.
Mey-Rin drops her empty rifle and pulls to handguns out. Bard runs out of ammo and tries to think of other ways to subdue the demon hound. One. Just as the servants run out of hope, Y/n seemingly appears out of nowhere and punches Pluto up into the air. Two. Y/n kicks him straight in the spine, making him painfully crash down on the rooftop. Three. She quickly grabs his neck and snaps it, trying to make his death not too painful.
Without exchanging any words, Y/n jumps off the rooftop. Sebastian waits down below and catches his wife. He puts her down and picks up his young master instead. Silently, they began running to London Bridge.
They run up the bridge, only for them to be greeted with a knife flung into Y/n's stomach. It was no ordinary knife.
No, it was an Angelic Knife, which is lethal to demons.
Y/n groans and falls down to her knees. Blood starts seeping through her clothing. The pain nearly consumes her as the fight for her life begins. Y/n looks down and places a fist on the ground. Sebastian bends down to his wife and tries to act like he is trying to save her. Except, he places the ring containing the rest of her strength on her finger.
"Angela, I do not know what you want from me. You keep trying to take away my happiness, which I do not understand. You took away my family from me once, but I will not let it happen again. I will take away your life now."
"Sebastian, I need you to take Ciel and get away as far as you can. There is no chance of me surviving this. Take care of our daughter for me. I love you."
"No, do not say that. I am staying here."
Y/n ignores her husband and looks Ciel in the eyes. "Ciel, you know what to do."
"Sebastian, take me away from here and do not look back. But first..."
"Y/n, this is an order: kill Angela!"
Y/n pulls the knife out of her stomach and smirks.
"You have watched my descent. Now watch me rise."
As fast as lightning, Y/n charges forward and plunges the knife into her sister. Angelic Knives were deadly to both demons and angels themselves. Electricity consumes the both of them. Y/n's wings emerge, except one is black and the other is white.
Instead of cat ears, horns sprout from the side of Y/n's head. She is giving it her all by releasing her true form. A black cloud engulfs the two sisters. Y/n's eyes begin glowing purple as her teeth become sharp and her nails become long and jagged. Her boots become leather, and the heels turn into sharp points.
"This is for taking away my family."
Y/n swipes her hand across Angela's cheek, and blood begins pouring out. Angela screams and holds her face while Y/n grins, flashing her sharp teeth.
"This is for continuing to fuck up my life."
Y/n uses a huge amount of force to punch through Angela's stomach. Angela coughs up blood and grimaces.
"This is a thank you for turning me into a demon and allowing me to unleash the monster that I am. Karma's a bitch, isn't it?"
Y/n continuously punches and kicks Angela. The angel screams in agony, knowing that she could only wait for her death. Y/n finally rips off her head, and a bright light is unleashed from the fallen angel's death.
Y/n sighs in relief and lets herself fall down towards the water, welcoming her death. She already lost concious before plummeting down.
But before she crashes into the water, something swoops down and catches her.
