A few more chapters guys, just a few more :)

Lucy POV

"I'm hungry" Happy whined

"You're always hungry" I sighed

"Yeah but nothing like a good fish can really get a cat going" Happy grinned

Äfter I beat up Happy because he kept on bugging me and Natsu, Happy has been complaining that he is hungry, I guess we will have to go back to the guild

"Hey Natsu" I called out

"hmm" he replied softly still sitting on the grass, staring at me

"I think we should get back to the guild, before the others get worried and besides Happy is getting hungry" I said pointing in the direction of the guild smiling a little

but he didn't answer, instead he just stared into space, well he's staring at me but his eyes looked like he just found heaven, like the way my father used to stare at me...before mother died.

"Natsu?" I said walking up to him "Earthland to Natsu" (so many puns, so many puns \^o^/)

"You smell nice..." He said softly

"W-Wha? who are you and what have you done with Natsu?" I said blushing

"Uh...Natsu" he said smirking

"B-But where...why did you say that?" I stuttered still blushing

"Well Dragonslayers have a good sense of smell and to me you smell like Vanilla and Flowers and I have always liked that part of you" he shrugged

"H-How can you say that so openly, you-" I stuttered

"you idiot?" He said stealing my very own words out of my mouth

He laughed and I blushed even harder, it would put even Erza's hair to shame

"I say that to often don't I?"

"Aye!" Happy replied in Natsu's place

"Well lets get going?" I smiled

"Going? where?" He asked looking at me curiously

"The guild, if you wern't so transfixed on staring into space you could of heard me" I almost said sarcastically

"I wasn't staring into space" He mumbled

Natsu's POV

"I wasn't staring into space" I mumbled

Last I checked Lucy isn't from space (Come on that's adorable)

"Well come on, I think the others will get antsy knowing you have stolen me for the whole day" She laughed

"But you're my partner and Nakama so they will have to be patient" I huffed

but she just simply touched her lips onto my cheeks, wait! did she just kiss my cheek, great now my face is heating up

"W-Why did you do that" I stuttered

"My way of saying thanks and showing affection" she smiled sweetly, stop being so cute please

"Come on" she said walking in the direction of the guild

"Aye sir" Happy said flying towards Lucy but he turned around sticking his tounge out at me, whilst making a heart shape out of his tail again.

I got up off the grass and tried to ignore Happy, he obviously knows I like her now, like seems like such a shallow word but all well.

I walked beside Lucy and I looked down at her through the corner of my eye and thought about what Igneel told me a few days before he left

Flashback

"Be kind with the animals Natsu"

"but the stupid thing interuppted my training" I pouted

"How would you like it if someone tried to attack you" he said annoyed

"I'd burn em' to a crisp" I grinned

"But consider what it has been through, it probably travelled a long way and lost it's friends and family" he said laying ont he ground

"but I see these things everywhere" I said with no interest at all

"You used to be like that Natsu, I see beings like you everywhere but I was kind with you" He said calmly

"What do you mean?"

"Consider other's pain and loss and try to fill that hole that is cut deep into them"

"I don't get it?" I said grabbing my hair

"You will one day...one day"

Flashback end (that was intense)

So that's what he meant, Lucy seemed sad and hurt when her mother died and when her father treated her badly, she needed a new family and Fairy Tail did just that. I then heard a gasp

"Huh? Lucy?" I said after she gasped

"T-The Guild" she said choking

I looked at the building infront of us and the guild was covered in dark magic, no it's that dust. I ran into the guild by busting the door down

"Natsu!" I heard Lucy yell after me "Happy come on" she said urgently

"Oi, Gramps!" I yelled out "Erza!" No answer "Wendy!?" Still no answer

Where is everyone? I looked around the guild and it looked dark, I could hardly see anything, so I lit my fist on fire and what I saw fueled me more than any fire

"Natsu, what's going on" Lucy said looking around and then she gasped

She saw everyone lying on the floor, asleep, hurt and whimpering, they were all having nightmares.

"L-Lu-chan" I heard a voice say

"Levy!" Lucy almost screamed

I turned around and we found Levy trying to support Gajeel, they were both under a couple of pieces of wood and they had a few cuts

"W-What happened?" Lucy said trying to move all the pieces of wood, I helped and they were soon free.

"That m-man, he ambushed us, he had us surrounded with dark magic and all these goblins started putting people to sleep, Erza was one of the last to get hit, she tried to protect us all and Master Makarov-" She choked and tears started to spill "M-Master Makarov was...he got put in a cage, he is still in there but he was forced to watch all of us suffer and the man wasn't going to stop until you two came back" she cried

"Where is he now and what happend to you, how come you are the only one that's awake?" Lucy said trying to stay calm

there was a slight pause and Levy looked up at me

"I'm not" she said coldly, then it came clear, her eyes were dark and empty, just like Lucy's used to be

"N-Natsu her eyes" Happy shivered

"Happy go find Gramps and try to free him" I called out

"A-Aye" he said flying off

"You're too late Salamander and daughter of Jude, you have been a bad girl, running away from home like that" Puppet Levy smirked

"Let her go please!" Lucy cried

"Now why would I do that, You two already spoiled my plans once and it won't happen again...the warmth that comes off you two is sickening" Puppet Levy said growling

"W-what are you saying" Lucy said backing away and looking at all the other mages on the ground

"I shall get rid of all light and happiness and rule this world, controlling and manipulating the minds of mages and citizins" she cackled evilly "Starting with you" She said again pointing at Lucy

"No" I whispered

Levy dashed forward and a few other mages from our guild suddenly came to life and went right at Lucy, i instantly reacted and dashed forward with no time to set my fists on fire and I kicked back some of the mages

"Sorry" I whispered

Suddenly a black, cloaked figure appeared in front of me and he smirked

"You have feelings for the girl" He said taking off his cloak revealing his dark hair and scarred face

I flinched although it was true

"Natsu-" I heard Lucy say but I interuppted

"Who are you?" I growled

"Keitaro ugasai" He said with venom in his voice and glowing black eyes

"K-Keitaro...Ugasai" Lucy breathed behind me

I need to save the guild...I need to protect Lucy

Sorry it was short but this is just the intro to a great battle that is going to be upon us

*dun dun duuuuuuun*
