Percy's POV

Okay, before you think I did something terribly wrong, like punching someone or stealing from an adult or something, I didn't. I don't even know how it happened but I was blamed anyway.

This is what happened, I was running around like a maniac at the playground in the park when I got tired and walked over to the line for the water fountain. Today there was this annoying, bratty girl at the playground and she was pushing kids when they got in her way. She apparently decided to get a drink of water from the fountain so she started to walk toward the front of the line. I got so fed up with her I felt a tugging sensation in my gut and the next thing I knew she was drenched in water. I looked toward the source of the water and it turns out the part of the water fountain were the water comes out of had popped off and water was spraying directly at the girl. I was laughing so hard I didn't notice when my mom stormed up to me and started asking what happened.

Of course, as usual I was only half listening,but the next thing I knew she had her hand around my wrist and was bringing me toward a park bench. When I got closer to the bench I saw a girl with stormy grey eyes and princess curls. She made me sit down on the bench next to her while she finished her conversation so I started to stare off into space. Sometime later I snapped out of my daze and realized that my mom was standing. I quickly followed and once I stood by my moms side I realized that we had one more person than usual coming home with us.
