"Ngh..." Her body shifted under the sheet and she slowly opened her eyes. "Kakuzu... Where are we?" The lady whispered weakly and he took off his mask to smile at her.

"We fled the mansion. You are free now" He said and the female's eyes immidiaetly began to water.

Happy sobs filled the room as the female wasn't able to comprehend the feeling of finally being free. "K-Kakuzu" She whispered and reached out her hand to stroke his stitched cheek. "Yes?" He asked and grabbed her hand before looking into her (e/c) eyes.

"Thank you... I love you" She said before closing the space between them. The male melted into the kiss and held her close, careful to not hurt her now weak body. "You need to rest a little and then we can start and travel." He said and the lady nodded. "Where can we go? I don't Think we can stay here right?" The man hummed and looked out of the window.

"There is no place we are truly save in. But I was thinking of going to Yugagakure. Even though it is a shinobi-village, it does have a nice landscape and festivals. I am sure you would enjoy that." He said and (Y/N) chuckled. "I don't really have much of a choice, don't I? Right now I just feel like a lost puppy and you are the one to guide me through the labyrinth to a new home."

"We don't need a new home. As long as we have each other we don't beed a home... And it would cost a lot of money..." He grumbled under his breath making the female laugh and hit his shoulder playfully. "Aww Kakuzu you really don't change hm?" She grinned and kissed his cheek before moving her hand over the big bandage on his other shoulder making her face turn serious.

"W-Who did that?" The lady stuttered and Kakuzu sighed before taking her hand. "It was your father. He stabbed me with one of his swords." (Y/N) gasped and held his hand tightly. "H-How.... What happened?" "We got into a fight and he really had a great technique up his sleeve. After some time I was able to kill him. I broke his neck" Kakuzu explained. "Y-You killed him...?" The female started shaking and her breath hitched before she clutched her chest.

"Shh... It is okay... He deserved to die..." The male said and held her close to his chest so she could calm down a little. "H-He is dead... He is dead" She whispered over and over trying to cope with the man's death who made her life a living hell. Tears started to form once again but her cries quickly turned into laughs. "H-He is dead!" The lady laughed and leaned back holding her head. "HE IS FINALLY DEAD!" She screamed out and Kakuzu looked at her shocked.

How much hate must she have felt for this man?

The female continued laughing and crying at the same time as her heart started beating faster and faster every second. "Hey... Calm down this is not good for you... Shh calm down or you will get a heart attack!" Kakuzu said a little louder to aware her of the danger she is facing now.

The doctor's daughter stepped in and rushed to her side. "W-What is going on?" She asked and quickly checked the female's heartbeat on the monitor. "This isn't good! I will bring my father. Please try to calm her down!" The lady demanded and rushed out of the room to get the doctor.

"Hey, (Y/N)! I know this is much to cope with but right now your life is on the line! Calm down before you end up dead and leave me alone" Kakuzu said and held her terribly shaking hand in his. The female's tears weren't able to stop as she tried to catch her breath. "K-KAKUZU HE IS DEAD! HE IS DEAD!" She screamed on top of her lungs with the rest of air she had.

As soon as he came the doctor went to her bed and injected a serum into her arm. The lady's eyes grew heavier and the laughs got silent before she fell back down on her bed. The nurse immidiaetly strapped a face mask on her face to provide her with enough oxygen to breathe. She then moved her body a little higher and used a syringe to inject her some medicaments.

"She almost had an heart attack. What happened?" The doctor said and turned to Kakuzu. "I told her what happened before we got her. Including her father's death. And then she just went crazy" The man sighed as his daughter wrote everything down. "It must have been a very severe panic attack. Coping with her father's death must have awoken too much adrenaline inside her and almost caused her own death. Good that we were able to provide her with the right things otherwise her death would have come faster than we thought."

Kakuzu breathed out and leaned back in his chair before looking at his lover's weak body. "She will be okay. She just needs some rest and your partner will surely wake up soon by herself." The doctor clapped his back in a Comforting way and leaves the room.

The nurse tapped away the sweat drops on (Y/N)'s face before looking at Kakuzu. "I think you should rest now as well... You are still weak and too much stress could be bad for you health. Like my father already said, she will be back to normal soon. You can trust us with that. I will provide you with some food and I will roll one of the beds here so you can share the room, alright?" She asked and smiled at him.

"Thank you. I think I couldn't even rest a little in another room" Kakuzu said and the female nodded before leaving. The male held the weak hand of his partner as he waited for the nurse to come back. "You really are someone else, hm?" He chuckled brushing through her (h/c) hair carefully.

"Here I am." The other female said while entering the room with one of the portable beds and a tray of food on top of it. "Thank you. You can leave now" He said and stood up to go to his bed. The lady left, leaving him and the princess alone.

Kakuzu layed down on the bed and started eating his food.
Even though you are free now, thanks to me not being able to save you... you are trapped inside this bed with your life on the line.
