Ugh!

Why does this keep happening?!

There's one r4r agreement in particular (I don't want to call anyone out) who PMed me asking for a r4r, v4v / c4c.

So I thought:

Yes! Finally someone who wants to do a r4r with me

I love, love, LOVE seeing these PMs! They get me excited that I'm gonna receive several votes and comments on my book I worked so hard on!

I have this theory (this may not be true though): this r4r partner was so close to reaching 5K reads. Maybe they wanted me to read their book to get them there faster, but had no intentions of reading mine.

Last night, they said they'd read mine 'in a bit'.

Well, that never happened.

I haven't received one vote or comment. They haven't even ACKNOWLEDGED my book.

Yes, maybe they're in a different time zone, but still. 'in a bit' means shortly after, right? So no matter what time zone, they would've started shortly after (if that makes sense?)

Like I said, THIS MIGHT NOT BE TRUE!!!

But if that's the case, that pisses me off!

EDIT: ⬆️ this theory ⬆️ has been confirmed. If they PM you asking you to read their book, Vienna, for a r4r, don't. They're just trying to get to the nearest thousand of reads.
