CHAPTER 22

AUTHOR'S POV

"Aarav rush to the hospital, she is pregnant and she is bleeding "Mary yelled and Aarav saw her white pants which was now blood stained.

And that's when he saw her belly which was covered under her kurthi, her white dupptha covering her front not even giving him the slightest clue that she has a life in her, her glass bangles making sound,he has seen many pregnant ladies wearing glass bangles and now seeing her wearing those beautiful ones made him feel weird.

SHE.. SHE HAS BEEN PREGNANT ,she had a little life in her, his son/daughter was silently growing in her all these days and he never know what a shame it is??

"AMMAAAA"a sharp pain in her lower abdomen, yamini shouted in pure pain .

With each passing second, yamini could feel her vision blurring, Aarav held his hands tightly and patted her cheeks .

Her forehead was bleeding, her hands were bleeding as few bangles broke due to the force and her vaginal was bleeding.

He lifted her up in his arms and ran out.

Each time, he called her, patted her cheeks, her half closing eyes use to open wide.
Her grip on his shirt was getting tight with each passing second saying how much pain she was in.

Making her lay back in the car, he started his car and drove towards the hospital.

He turned back every minute just to see her screaming in pure pain.
He shivered seeing her scream

Finally Reaching the hospital ,Aarav again took her in his arms and saw she lost her conscious.

A fear ran around him,he felt pain in his stomach and heart .
His hand shivered to touch her.

"yamini"for the first time ,he called her name patting her cheeks gulping the lump form in his throat.

Yamini was not fully unconscious, she knew what was happening around her, she heard him calling her.

She held his hands tightly as with each and every second the pain was getting too much for her to handle.

Aarav held her hands tightly and walked inside the hospital with her in his arms.

"AMMAAAA"yamini again screamed in pain.

Tears flew down Aarav's cheeks seeing her screaming in pain.
He felt a knot in his heart, his wife, the girl who he claims she loves was going through sooo much pain all alone.

"save... Ba...baby"she barely spoke in the pain as he made her lay down on the stretcher.

The doctors and nurses rushed her into the emergency room and Aarav stood watching her go.

His heart cluttered in pain, his throat went dry along with his lips
It took him few minutes to understand that she is actually pregnant and silently grew his child all alone.

He felt ashamed that she doesn't even trust him and he doesn't except her to trust him too. After all he was a real beast to her.

He felt his knees going week, he sat down on the bench .

His white shirt was stained with her blood. He still can hear her scream in pain.
With each minute her screams were getting loud and loud.

The door flew open and a doctor came out .

" sir this is complicated, Mother's life is at risk internal bleeding is high both baby and the mother is not safe we can save only one
Even if you let the baby grow it would survive till labour, internal bleeding is high as they are several injurious in her belly due to the force
Now only you can choose, can we abort the baby and save the mother "the doctor asked him and he stood still

He need to choose....

Choose between his wife and child

Between his love and his blood

"sir, there is no time please infrom us
You wife is dieing each second "the doctor voice broke his thought.

Never ever will he let her go from him and this thing is out of syllabus .

"start.. The  operation "he barely whispered and the doctor nodded and rushed inside again .

He could not even feel the happiness of being a father and so soon the baby was gone.

He couldn't even see it growing, he has seen many couples standing with each other during pregnancy and he badly wanted to be like it .

Taking care of her, making her drink her milk, taking her to a walk and when she can't work more he will carry her in his arms and now he sat there in the bench saying the doctors to kill his baby and save his wife.

His heart again clenched and he looked at the door each and every second was like a hell to him.

Soon after few hours the door flew open and the doctor came with his dead child in his hand.

Aarav's heart was hammering against his chest ,his hands shivered taking his dead son in his hands for the first time.

Yes!!it was a boy

Usually babies like these are considered as hospital waste ,if the family demand to cremate they give it to them and Aarav didn't want his child to go as a waste.

His son was so small, tears fell down his cheeks.

He held his son for the first time and he was already dead.

He hugged his son close to his heart and cried, he tried and tried to wake his son up in fact knowing the fact that he is no more.

Mary who came to the hospital with a maid, she saw Aarav on the floor hugging his dead son.

She couldn't walk further, maybe the mistake was even on her side
That she could have said aarav about she being pregnant and nothing like this would have happened.

"your wife is fine sir, just unconscious ,the internal bleeding had stopped ,we will prescribe few medicines follow it regularly "saying this the doctor left.

Aarav walked near the door with his son in his Arms

Yamini may even start hating him even more for doing this.

"I am sorry... You know  I am... A beast ,a selfish person like you call
I am a coward who doesn't even have courage to raise his son ,save his son "he whispered slowly looking at through the small glass.

He really he not angry with her for hiding it just hurt and disappointed.

Aarva watched his son going into the cremate machine, his heart clenched, wrenched, cried, burned and broke.

The pain he couldn't save his son was killing him.

He lost

He lost, he kept losing and this time also he lost.

He lost his sister, his mother, his father, Peter and finally even his son too

3 days passed in a blur, today yamini is getting discharged from the hospital.

She got her sense back last night and since then, she kept quiet she didn't cry, yell, scream,talk  she was calm.
And Aarav too never made a attempt to talk with her.

Yamini sat back in the car and leaned her head to the window and Aarav saw her and started driving.

As he was driving through the signal, his eye fell on a girl who was busy talking with someone in the phone

His eyes went wide, he turned back and saw yamini closing her eyes and lost in thoughts .

He again turned back to the girl who looked exactly like his wife.
