Ship: Ruby x Vade yippee

Anything was able to make Ruby cry. But this time, it was different. Not because of some lame thing or some sad movie, but it was due to overthinking, something she had been doing a lot recently. Curled up in her bed, she hugged a plush with her girlfriend's scent, trying to calm down, but it just seemed to make the situation worse. Her brain was just not stable enough to try and calm herself down.

Crying easily exhausted her, but she still seemed to cry even after shutting her eyes for what seemed like a few hours. A bit too long, but it would've been longer if it wasn't for the feeling of tiny kisses on her face, specifically her eyes.

She jolted awake, sitting up as she tried to adjust her already blurry eyes. A dark-skinned palm would go on her face, still planting little kisses on her face as a sort of last resort to stop her tears. She would look over, seeing her lover, who just smiled at her, and with a shaky breath, she hugged her tightly, not wanting to let go. She would keep sobbing, her lover still having a warm smile on her face.

"O-oh love, I thought you had left me... I just-"

"Shhhh, it's okay button... calm down... I would never leave you..."

More kisses would be peppered across the albino's face, the other woman trying to stop her from crying. She would keep her arms wrapped around her lover, a small smile on her face as she slowly calmed down.

She was safe here. She knew it, and she wasn't going to forget that.
