RAVING

——- AS SCOTT ONCE WOKEN UP, many questions concerned for his baby sister, who lied unconscious at his house, in his room, away from two prying eyes of his mother and sister. Scott explained that Luna was exhausted from her comatose state, a real enough statement for the two to believe them. However, Scott knew they couldn't keep the lies forever. Luna once explained to Scott that Lindsay was leaving town, at the end of the school year, and for that Scott was glad that Lindsay would be safe, even if he hated his father, he couldn't do anything about it. Right now, Scott was thankful that he was awake, okay, and his sister was also okay, but safe at home.

Down at the substation whereas Derek was currently living. Scott and Stella followed him down. "I'm saying we need a new plan." Derek told them. "Cause next time, one of us is gonna be too hurt to heal." Derek looked at Scott, both of them knowing who. Scott nodded in timidly. Derek didn't know what to feel, his feelings between love and friendship is confusing. Derek feels a bond, he's connected, of course he's bonded as a mate, but right now, it's a brotherly bond, possibility of a best friend. Derek saw what had happened, he bit Victoria that night, defending not only himself, but Scott, Stella and Luna as well. "We get it." Stella told him, nodded in agreement. "We can't save Jackson." Scott told Derek and others. "We can't seem to be able to kill him, either." Derek told him, nodding. "I've seen a lot of things, but." Derek paused. "But I've never seen anything like this." He looked down in defeat, sighing. "Every new moon's just gonna make him stronger, too strong." Derek continued. "But, how do we stop him?" Stella asked. Derek shook his head. "I don't know. I don't even know if we can." Derek glanced around the room, thinking, suggesting. "Maybe we should just let the Argents handle it?" Scott told them. Stella looked down. "We can't, not I-I can't go back." Stella slid down the wall, Scott coming to her. "Sh-she tried to kill you, Scott. It's not okay." Stella mumbled, holding her knees. "She tried killing Luna, I-I couldn't just, I can't go back. I can't tell my uncle or my cousin, how can I say something? They wouldn't understand." Stella told Scott. Derek noticed the two, he smiled softly to himself, seeing their familial bond in between. Scott held Stella's hand, a gesture of understanding and love. "If we can't without getting hurt or someone else dying, how can they?" Derek asked, raising an eyebrow. Stella glanced down, warily. "I, I just know I can't go back to my aunt or uncle without lying to them. And I sure can't lie to my own cousin." Stella commented. "Stay with me and Luna, my mom would understand." Scott asked. Derek nodded, and Stella glanced at Scott. "Okay." Stella nodded, agreeing. "Back on track, I'm the who turned him in the first place." Derek told them, glancing away. "It's my fault." A new voice came through. "Derek, it's not your fault okay? It's my fault I passed out when Scott needed me, I couldn't protect him or any of you, so no, it's not your fault. And it's sure not your fault Jackson didn't turn into this, I mean it's happened because of something in his past, right?" Luna came to Scott and Derek's side, folding her arms, raising an eyebrow. Scott grabbed Luna's hand and smiled gently. "That's a legend in a book. It's not that simple." Derek explained. "What do you mean?" Scott asked. "What are you not telling us?" He raised an eyebrow, standing up on two feet, hugging his sister. Derek glanced at Luna, before Scott, giving him a weird look. "Why do you always think I'm keeping something from you?" Derek rose an eyebrow. Luma rolled her eyes, knowing fair well he's keeping secrets, Luna closed her eyes, concentrating on Derek. "Cause you always are keeping something from me, and Luna." Scott answered annoyed and frustrated. "Well, maybe we do it to protect you." Derek told them. "Doesn't being part of your pack mean no more secrets?" Stella and Luna asked simultaneously. Both Scott and Derek glanced at the two girls, Scott nodded in agreement. Derek looked down, sighing. "Go home, sleep, heal. Make sure your friends are safe." Derek told Scott, Luna and Stella. "Cause the full moon's coming. And with the way things are going, I've got a feeling it's gonna be a rough one." Luna explained, yawning. "Scotty, take me home?" Scott nodded, picking Luna up as she jumped on his back, Stella following out. Derek watched Luna as she left.

After awhile, Lydia had dragged Luna towards Allison. She wanted Stella to come, but Stella couldn't face her family, especially her own aunt, who tried to kill her best friends. "Clear your schedule. This could take a while." Lydia demanded as Luna laid on Allison's bed. "Hey, Gracie." Allison gently smiled at the girl. Seeing dark circles under her eyes, and Allison knew she was exhausted, tired and worn out. "Sleep, I'll wake you when we leave." Lydia nodded in agreement. Lydia knew Luna was exhausted from her coma, she wished she gotten better. But without Lydia knowing, Luna was healed, and herself, she just felt worn. "Okay." Luna mumbled sleepily as she clutched the duvet and buried her face in Allison's pillows. "How many outfits do you plan on wearing tonight?" Allison asked, watching Luna sleep, and glancing at the shopping bags Lydia brought. "It's my birthday party." Lydia told her as if the obvious thing in the world. "I'm thinking host dress, evening dress, and then after-hours casual." Lydia gathered, as she placed the dress down, smiling and pulling another dress from the bag. Allison noticed the bags. "I noticed that you didn't send out any invites." Allison told her. "Biggest party of the year, Allison. Luna even comes, but she hides in my bedroom and reads, it's adorable. Jackson normally drags her out." Lydia shrugged. "Everyone knows." She added. "I was wondering if maybe this year things, you know, might be different?" Allison started to trail off. Luna by then was awake, staring at the ceiling, listening in. "Why would anything be different?" Lydia asked. "Just 'cause things have been off lately." Allison answered. "Things and people." Luna's voice came then. "Like Jackson." Allison and Lydia turned to the girl. Lydia glanced at Allison. "What do you care about Jackson?" Allison smiled, shaking her head, tilting it. "Do you know if he's coming tonight?" Luna tensed. Jackson already had told Luna he was coming. "Everyone's coming." Lydia told her coldly. Allison glanced to the side, uncomfortable as Luna reached her hand towards Allison. Lydia picked up another dress, holding it out for Allison to see, acting completely normal, smiling. "This one's American Rag. Mm, I love it. For me, not you." Luna giggled. Lydia smirked cheekily. "This one's Material Girl. That's for you." Luna glanced at the doorway as she heard another heartbeat. Her own started to race. Allison felt her emotion and squeezed her hand. Victoria knocked on the wall, walking in. Lydia turned towards her. "Mrs. Argent. What do you think of this one?" Lydia asked, holding a dress for Allison. "It's lovely." Victoria told. "Allison, Luna, can I grab you for a moment to talk? I don't see Stella, just the three of us?" Luna glanced at Allison's mom in confusion. 'Didn't she tried to kill me and Scott?' Luna thought to herself. "Um..." Allison trailed off, seeing Luna's confused look. "Can we do it later?" Luna nodded. Victoria noticed that Luna was oblivious to what had happened, and she felt guilty. Luna was curious to know what Victoria needed to say; although, she noticed the guilty look Victoria showed. Scott hadn't told her what happened the other night, but she knew one thing, Victoria tried to kill her and Scott. And Allison knew that, minus her mother killing Scott and herself. "Actually, to be honest, sooner would be better." Victoria told her, rubbing her shoulder, the pain visible towards Luna as she tilted her head. Lydia turned to look at Victoria. "Party's at 10:00." Luna smiled gently, getting up, walking towards her. "I'm sorry, if I did anything to offend your family. I know you used to care for me, and I thank you for that. I'll protect Allison with my life, I assure you." Luna told Victoria quietly as Lydia and Allison couldn't hear. Victoria gave her a wary glance, but nodded in agreement. "Protect her, from Gerard, please?" Victoria begged quietly as a whisper, making Luna nod. "Oh." She cleared her throat as Luna waltzed back to the bed. Victoria glanced at her daughter, once again. "You'll be around before then?" She asked. "I think so." Allison told her, not really paying attention. "You think so?" Victoria repeated her words. Allison shook her head, glancing at her mom. "I don't know." Allison replied. "You think so?" Lydia cut in, looking down at the dress in her hands. "Well, it does have black on it but..." Victoria turned around, walking towards the door. Lydia, Luna and Allison laughed. "No, it's too much." Luna laughed. Allison picked up the dress Lydia had chosen for her. "I think I like this. You like that?" Luna pulled up a necklace she had chosen for Allison, comparing them. "Yeah, no. I do." Lydia laughed. "Happy birthday." Luna and Allison synchronized together. "Jinx." They whispered. Lydia laughed. "Thank you." Victoria turned around, walking out of the room, only Luna noticed. "I actually appreciate that." Allison laughed, as Luna smiled softly at her two best friends.

As Luna left the Argent house to her own, she didn't notice that the white wolf had followed her. Luna was feeling a affect of the full moon that was following that night, but her goddess side had suppressed her ability to shift and lash out. She noticed a change inside of her and Derek's bond. She didn't know whether if it's a friendship bond, or a strictly platonic bond. She had heard of differences between bonds, she even read Twilight: New Moon and noticed that imprints and her bond were alike. She shrugged off that thought, calling Scott, finding out what's going on. Luna knew that Scott would need her help, along with Stiles. "Hey, what's going on?" Luna asked her brother, walking inside her house, seeing her mother and sister home. "Going to Lydia's?" Scott's voice asked. Lindsay turned at the voice of her sister. "Yeah, but I think you, me and Lindsay need to talk." Luna told monotone, glancing at her sister. Scott knew what she meant. "Okay, I'm coming." Scott hung up, as Luna sat in the living room, Lindsay following behind. Not even a few minutes later, Scott walked in, seeing both of his sisters in the living room. "Alright, good, your here." Lindsay told, sighing as she closed her eyes. "Scott, I promised dad I return to San Diego for my senior year, and I know you hate me for leaving, but it's a promise mom and dad agreed on, whenever I came home those years ago. I told Luna, and I think she found peace into me leaving. I don't want to leave you guys, if you need me, I can stay?" Lindsay rushed out. Scott and Luna glanced at one another. Both of them knew that Lindsay wasn't safe in Beacon Hills, they knew that this was her chance to stay safe. Scott got up, walked to his older sister. "Linds, we understand, go to him." Scott watched her expression carefully. Luna sat across from them, watching in curiosity. "You sure?" Lindsay asked. Luna nodded. "Of course we understand, besides, me and Scott will always be here." Luna smiled. 'Hopefully, after battling everything, it'll calm before the storm.' Her thoughts said, Scott caught on and smiled. "If you're sure, then okay. But promise you'll call?" Lindsay asked her two younger siblings. Luna and Scott both nodded, hugging their older sister, hopefully not the last time. "We love you." Luna and Scott synchronized together, then laughed. Lindsay rolled her eyes. "Never gets old." They grinned, laughing once again.

As Scott and Luna walked towards Lydia's, they noticed Allison and Lydia in a conversation. "Luna!" The two girls chimed in excitement. Luna giggled, kissing Scott on the cheek and walking towards them. Stiles stood outside the door, watching an amused Scott smile, as Stiles carried a large present box. "You really have to have such a big present?" Scott mused. Stiles chose to ignore him. "Happy birthday!" To Lydia who answered the door. Scott stood silently, chuckling internally. Lydia stood there, head tilted to the side. Luna smirked, leaning against the doorframe, watching Stiles unfold the scene. Stella stood by, idly watching them with an amused smile. "Yeah!" Lydia told him awkwardly. Scott glanced at Luna, shaking his head. Stiles shook the present. "Coming in." He tried to walk forward, but failed. Luna and Stella laughed. Scott watched with a tiny flicker of a smile to hide his amusement. Lydia just stood there, her head tilted to the side. "Oh, whoa. Can't. Okay." Stiles pushed against the present to get it inside. It wasn't working. "Um, Stiles?" Luna asked. "You know, you don't—can't you just grab that side, maybe?" Luna rolled her eyes. Lydia rolled her eyes, turning around, walking away. "Stiles." Luna called again. Scott chuckled, glancing at his best friend. "Don't forget to try the punch!" Stella yelled as she ran to follow Lydia inside the house. Luna and Scott laughed at her child antics.

Luna followed her brother down the hallway, after Stiles had given up on getting the big present inside. "Have you seek Jackson?" She asked him. Scott shook his head. "No." He glanced around. "Seen Allison?" Luna glanced at her brother. "Earlier, with Stella." She nodded. Scott sighed, but nodded. Stiles walked closer towards them. "Guys." He waved. Luna smirked, giggling. Stella, Scott and Stiles turned to Luna, eyebrow raised. "Did you finally get it through?" She asked sarcastically. Scott laughed. Stiles groaned. "Have you seen Allison?" Scott asked Stiles. "No." Stiles answered him. "But we should probably tell her what I found." Luna rose an eyebrow after she calmed down a bit. Stella walked towards the trio. "So, what'd you find, Stilinski?" She asked, curious. Stiles jumped. "God, don't—I figured out it has something to do with water." Stiles told them. "You know, the fact that all the victims were in the swim team, the way the Kanima reacted around the pool." Luna nodded. "I wasn't there, but I did sense something." Stella frowned. "So whoever's controlling the Kanima really hates the swim team?" She asked. Stiles nodded. "Hated the swim team." Stella frowned, glancing at Luna, who glanced at Scott.

Luna followed Stella to another place in the backyard of the Martin house. "So, what's been happening to you?" Stella whispered to Luna. She frowned. "Well, my emotions a bit confusing. My goddess side is completely dormant, unless someone close to me is in danger, but did you mean Derek?" She asked Stella. Stella glanced over where Scott and Stiles was talking, but nodded. "Derek chose his fate, and I, mine." She shrugged. "Derek thinks I'm too young, and I frankly agree that I'm not exactly relationship material. Unless, some new hot guy shows up at school and flirts, but that won't happen, because my wolf won't take him." She murmurs, glancing around. Luna noticed that Scott was indeed listening in. "What did Derek say?" Stella asked. Luna glanced at the pool, keeping an eye out for suspicious activity. "He and I, were friends. He knows that I'm his soulmate, eventually we'll get there, but for now, we're just friends." Luna glanced at her best friend. "You know, there isn't literally anyone here." Luna yelled towards the boys, who stood by Allison. They turned to see Luna and Stella across the backyard, holding the punch. Scott tilted his head. "Maybe it's just early?" Scott told them. Luna and Stella made it over to the group. Luna rolled her eyes. "Or maybe nobody's coming because Lydia turned into a town's whack job." Stiles told them. "Lydia's going through a stroll in the woods naked—." Luna cut him off. "Stiles! She can't help it." Luna scolded him. Stiles gaped at her like an open fish. "She's screaming like a lunatic at ice. Everybody in town thinks Lydia finally snapped, and so forth." Stiles finished his sentence from whereas Luna interrupted. "Well, we have to do something because we've completely ignored Lydia for the past two weeks." Stella told them. Luna glanced at Stella. "Lydia's completely ignored Stiles for the entire time he had a crush on her." She told pointedly. "Hey!" Stiles complained. Luna rose an eyebrow. "You know." She pointed a finger. "It's true." She told innocently. Stiles sighed. "We don't owe a party." Scott told them. "What about the chance to get back to normal?" Luna asked. "Normal?" Stella repeated Luna's word. Luna glanced at Scott, then Allison, then to Stella, and finally Stiles. "Lydia wouldn't be the town whack job if it wasn't for us." Allison told them. Scott, Luna, Stella, Stiles and Allison all glanced at Lydia who was standing, sadly. "I guess I could use my co-captain status to get the lacrosse team here." Scott told them. "I can get those who interested in Luna here as well." Stella smirked, making Scott growl. Luna widened her eyes. "Stella!" She gasped. "Yeah, I also know some people who can get this thing going." Stiles told them. "Like, really going." Luna widened her eyes. Stella gave him a skeptical look. "You?" She asked. Stiles gave her an sarcastic look. "I met them the other night. Let's just say they know how to party." Luna sighed. "Good god." She muttered. Stiles grinned happily.

Meanwhile, Luna stood with Stella and Allison, glancing around the party in which surprised Luna the most. "I don't get how Stiles knew so many..." she struggled to find the word. "Yeah, no." She shook herself off. "Drag queens?" Stella offered. Lydia walked over towards the girls. "Happy birthday, Lydia!" Luna cheered happily, hugging the girl. Allison and Stella smiled. "Thank you, Lu." Lydia smiled. "Enjoy the party, and drink some punch?" She suggested, handing Luna and cup of the punch. Luna rose an eyebrow as Lydia walked away. "Okay.." She mused. "I don't know how much longer she can stay in the dark. I mean, it's getting way too dangerous for her not to know." Luna quietly told. Allison and Stella glanced at Luna. "You're seriously thinking about telling her?" Allison asked. Luna sighed. "I get it, we're supposed to protect her. Scott has thing where he wants to help save people, but are we really going to leave her in the dark, she's apart of the supernatural now." She whispered the last part quietly. Stella rose an eyebrow. "We get it." Stella told her. "I don't know what to do.." Luna trailed off. "I can't keep lying to her." Allison finished. They sighed, watching Lydia.

Luna went to stand by Allison as they were alone. Stella had already went to find Scott. "So." Luna started. "You ever gonna tell me about Scott?" She asked Allison. She glanced at Luna, nibbling on her lip. "What?" She asked. "It's okay to talk about him to me, after all, I am his sister." Luna rolled her eyes. Allison sighed. "Okay, you and Scott? It's like a forbidden romance that doesn't need to be given up on, Okay? You love him, he loves you, it's as simple as that." She added. Allison sighed once again, tilting her head. "I get that I was the one who ended things, I mean my father and Gerard about Jackson and ruining your guys plan, but I never intended that to happen." Allison told her. Luna glanced at Allison. "It's not your fault, Alli. It's your grandfather's fault, and plus, just because you two are fighting, doesn't necessarily mean that you two are over completely, it doesn't define the whole relationship, if you ask me." She shrugged, glancing at Allison again. "Ima go find Derek.. I have this need something bad is gonna happen and I..." Allison nodded. "It's okay, go, I'll let Scott know." Allison gave Luna a timid smile. Luna hugged her, before walking away.

Luna gotten into her car, and turned on the radio, she sighed as she drove towards where Derek was. She didn't know how she'd knew where he was, it was almost instinct. She parked the car outside an abandoned building and climbed out of the car. The wind chilled slightly as she pulled Scott's jacket closer towards her. She heard screaming and winced. The full moon was out that night, but she didn't feel the affects as much as the others, mainly due to her anchors tying her down. She walked inside the building as she heard voices. "How do you not feel this?" Silence rang. "Because, he doesn't feel it, his soul is tied to mine, if I can't feel it, neither does he, or Scott." Luna's voice rang, catching the four wolves to turn. Luna was surprised to see Erica, Boyd and Isaac with Derek, but nevertheless. "Then how do you control it?" Isaac asked Derek, ignoring Luna. Derek gazed at Luna, before glancing at his beta. "An anchor. Find an anchor." Derek told him. "Something meaningful to you. Tie it to you, keep the human side of you in control." Derek glanced at Luna. Isaac caught the glance. Luna walked inside the subway car. "For me, really it's more than an anchor, my other half, the goddess side keeps me in control, because of it, I'm stronger and I am able to control the shift of a wolf. For example, Derek here, his anchor is me, or anger when he's alone." Luna explained, sitting across from Derek. Her eyes glistened silver as Derek's eyes glowed gold along with Boyd, Isaac and Erica. The three betas gasped as they watched Luna's eyes glisten between silver and gold. Derek smiled softly, at his mate. Luna glanced at the moon that glistened through the windows, as she glanced at the others. "Be strong, fight the wolf side, keep it human. Find your anchor, find it and tie to your soul." She told them, sitting down in the floor, cross legged and closing her eyes. "What is she doing?" A whisper told Derek. Derek knew what she was doing. "She's concentrating on the moon, she anchors herself to the moon each month, so each wolf can battle for control. Do you not feel the power of the moon?" Derek asked his beta. Boyd nodded. "By Luna giving strength to the moon, the moon gives us strength for control." Boyd added in. Derek nodded. "Yep, that's what she does, normally she has someone close to her to draw power from because she's weak. Normally it is Scott, since he's blood, but I guess I'll have to fill in." Derek sighed, stepping towards Derek, sitting in front of her, gently grabbing Luna's hand, anchoring himself to her. Derek closed his eyes, concentrating on his anger, and Luna.

A tall man walked down the underground hideout. "Derek!" He called out. Derek's eyes snapped open. His eyes traveled towards his betas, whom seemed calm and collected. "Finding your anchor yet, Declan?" Derek asked timidly. Declan walked down to Derek, glancing at the girl. "Yes, actually I did. Who's this?" Declan gestured to Luna who's eyes closed, concentrating. "You should know, she's Luna." Derek told him. "Wait, baby McCall?" Declan asked in disbelief. Derek rose an eyebrow. "What? I dated Lindsay twice." He defended himself. "Well, look what happened there." A voice asked. Declan and Derek turned to Luna, her eyes glowing silver. Declan gulped. "I.. I love her, I really do." Declan told her. Luna smiled. "Well, good luck, she's leaving for San Diego at the end of the break that's coming up." Declan frowned. "Why?" He asked. Derek also wanted to know. Luna sighed. "She knows that Scott and I are hiding from her, she knows that something is wrong with me and Scott, and she's tired of everything. And my dad... he." Luna sighed, pausing. "When my parents got divorced, my dad taken my sister with him, until Scott's freshman year, she came back two years ago, and wants to be involved with us. Now, for Lindsay's senior year, by custody agreement that she complete school with him, before off to college, she has no choice in the matter." Luna stated calmly to Declan and Derek. Declan frowned. "So your dad is making your sister move back, and she knows your hiding the supernatural from her?" Luna nodded. "Hm, Yep." She commented, before closing her eyes. "Declan, you can join me, I'm sure Derek won't mind, he needs to turn to his betas." Derek nodded as Declan and Derek traded spots. Derek kissed Luna's forehead, sighing as he walked away, leaving Luna with Declan, as he concentrated on his anchor, and therefore tying himself to Luna. They both heard screams, and fighting, but they both managed to block it off. Neither one of them noticed that Lydia Martin had Derek unconscious with wolfsbane.

About an hour later, Luna awoken from her trance to see scatters of blood, scrapes and four betas knocked out. "Uh, Dec? Where's Derek?" She frowned. Declan stood, raising an hand out for Luna as he helped her up, he glanced around in confusion. "I smell wolfsbane." Luna growled, eyes flashing gold. Declan gripped her tight around her waist. "Something happened. Derek's missing." She growled out. Luna thought, then glanced at the clock. "Isn't it a worm moon?" Declan theorized. Luna gasped. "Lydia." She whispered. "Come on!" She grabbed Declan's hand, rushing to her car. "We need Deaton." She gasped out, climbing in the driver's seat. "You think, that my uncle is trying to bring himself back to life?" Declan asked in disbelief. Luna slowly nodded. "It kind of makes sense. I know what she is, but I cannot literally say it, until someone else does. Do not ask me why, or how, but it's hard. But there's a clue. They call her.." Luna gasped, driving. "The wailing woman. An omen for death." She finished her sentence. Declan widened his eyes. "I've heard of them, they're called banshee's." Declan told her. Luna smiled. "You cannot, I mean cannot tell anyone. I can't even tell anyone. It's against nature." Luna explained, pulling into the old Hale house. "I'm calling Deaton." Luna pulled her phone and dialed his number. "Hiya, D, it's Lune, um, we have a situation, I'm with Declan at the Hale house, but.. Derek and Lydia are too." She told him. From the other end. "Stay put, I'm on my way." And he hung up. Declan nodded, sitting in the car, waiting.

Declan sighed, turning to Luna, hearing movement inside the house. "I love her." He murmured. Luna glanced at him. "Scott hates you." She murmured. Declan nodded. "I deserved it, but I swear, I didn't do anything to her, she's my first love." Declan admitted. Luna sighed. "You have a lot to make up for, first off, you gotta get through to Scott." Luna told him. Declan laughed. "Yeah, I know. He won't be happy that I came back, nevertheless whom I relate to." He murmured. "You're Declan Hale, you can handle him. Scott knows you didn't intentionally hurt her like you did, besides he didn't know you were protecting her." Luna told Declan. "But I am, me coming back, it'll just put you, Scott and Lindsay in danger." Declan told her. She sighed. "Somehow my sister knew." Declan changed the subject. "She knew about Lindsay, she knew where she lived." Declan recalled his sister telling about Lindsay. "She still loves you, you know. She has the photos you two take still." She told him. Hearing a car pull up, they see Dr. Deaton park his car and climb out. "Let's rescue Derek." Luna sighed, standing in front of her car, facing the Hale house, hearing the voice she never once heard since the school incident. "Oh, my God." She gasped. "Don't worry. I invited myself." She heard, hearing footsteps as Peter Hale walked out the back door.
