sienna bluebelle potter was a menace.

and i loved every second of it.

she was currently sprawled across my bed like she fucking lived here, her head resting on my pillow, her fingers stealing blueberries from the bowl between us like a little gremlin. every time i reached for one, she got there first, popping it into her mouth with a victorious little smirk that made me want to strangle her and kiss her at the same time.

not that i had any right to complain. i always made sure to have blueberries in the house when she was around—because of her stupidly pretty middle name, because she once told me she loved them, because i was fucking obsessed with her and refused to analyze it any further than that.

"azzuro," i muttered, trying to focus on wrapping the damn gift in front of me, "if you keep stealing my food, i will starve to death, and you'll have to explain to my mother why her only son perished on christmas eve."

sienna hummed like she was actually considering it. "hmm. i think she'd understand."

i shot her a glare. "you're a heartless little witch."

"yeah, yeah, i'm terrible," she said dismissively, rolling onto her side to face me. "anyway, i'm sad."

i sighed, already knowing where this was going. "sienna—"

"i need sex."

i closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and reminded myself that i loved this girl. that i adored her, that she was the best fucking thing in my life, and that i would die for her without hesitation. because if i didn't remind myself of that, i might actually lose my mind.

"we've already fucked three times today," i pointed out, attempting to focus on taping the edges of the wrapping paper together.

"and?"

"and my mother is downstairs," i hissed, lowering my voice like she'd be able to hear me through the three floors and several hallways separating us.

sienna just scoffed, reaching out to play with a loose thread on my sweater. "this house is huge, nobody's gonna hear anything."

"still."

she pouted, and it was fucking devastating. "you don't love me."

i groaned, rubbing a hand down my face. "sienna—"

"you don't," she insisted, full dramatic mode activated. "you just wanna wrap your stupid gift and ignore me."

i stared at her, unimpressed. "you are literally in my bed. in my clothes. eating my food. after spending the whole fucking day together. how, exactly, am i ignoring you?"

she squinted at me like i was missing the point entirely. "i dunno, you just are."

"for fuck's sake—"

sienna suddenly rolled on top of me, straddling my lap with an evil little grin. "oh no," she said in the most unconvincing voice ever, "it seems i have accidentally climbed on top of you."

i dropped my head back onto the pillow. "you're insufferable."

"you love it."

"unfortunately, i do."

she beamed, clearly pleased with herself, and leaned down to press a kiss to my jaw. "so," she murmured, lips brushing my skin, "if you love me so much, why aren't you giving me what i want?"

i grit my teeth, already feeling my control slipping. "because you have to leave soon. and because, unlike you, i have some sense of self-preservation. and because my mother is downstairs, and as much as i love you, i am not willing to risk her walking in here and catching me balls-deep in you."

sienna outright cackled at that. "balls-deep, theo? really?"

i gripped her waist, squeezing lightly in warning. "you're impossible."

"and yet, you're obsessed with me."

"unfortunately," i muttered, dragging her down into a kiss.

she tasted like blueberries and something else—something sweeter, something i could never quite place but was utterly addicted to.

when we finally pulled away, she was smiling, looking soft and warm and happy. "i love you," she said, and even though she said it all the time, it still hit me like a fucking freight train.

i pressed a kiss to her forehead. "i love you more."

she huffed. "doubtful."

i just chuckled, flipping us over so i was on top now, pinning her down with my weight. her eyes lit up with anticipation, and i smirked. "you have to leave soon," i reminded her.

she batted her lashes. "not yet."

i exhaled sharply, already resigning myself to the fact that she was going to get her way. "you're going to be the death of me."

she grinned. "you'd die happy, though."

and, well—she wasn't wrong.

— so sorry it took me a month to update, exams kicked my ass and then the new semester of med school kicked my ass again so anyways but here we are and I really hope it's a good first chapter to come back to, it's kinda filler ig

— next chapter is the greengrass christmas dinner so expect drama
