Hi! I've wanted to address something over the years since I started writing fanfics on this app. I will be going through these:

1. Plagiarism
2. Choices made in this fic & hate comments
3. Rude reading list names
4. Translations & Story Requests
5. Fanfic etiquette

It's a LONG and overdue announcement.

PLAGIARISM | Unfortunately, my fanfics have been plagiarized so many times on this app that it became a normal occurrence that I don't even panic anymore when someone tells me someone stole my synopsis, prologue, or even the fucking graphics that I placed on my fics.

I'll be clearing this up since I received a comment basically saying that it's alright for my fanfics to be plagiarized since I used the same script from a movie or book, like everybody else writing fanfiction.

So, does that mean that EVERYONE on this damn app writing fanfiction is plagiarizing? You're allowed to write fanfiction for a certain franchise as long as you're not going to sell it for profit.

What "PLAGIARIZING" in fanfiction means is that you're taking "inspiration" or literally just copying and pasting from someone else's stories, their OC's face claim, name, backstory, dialogues, and the author's writing style. I had an experience where they copied and pasted the entire synopsis and prologue of this fic and even used the fucking graphics. That's what plagiarizing is in fanfiction. You can't be fully original on fanfiction because it's based on an existing piece of work, which is why it's called FANFICTION.

So, please do not copy my shit. And to you, my lovely readers, please continue to look out for me, as I do not read fanfiction on WP anymore and no longer have any idea if my fics are getting plagiarized.

CHOICES & HATE COMMENTS | You might not have agreed with my choices on this fic. The outfits, the ring, or generally MY decisions in writing MY fic. But you have to deal with it. That's it. If you didn't like it, you don't have to leave a comment, "Oh, this is so cringe," "I don't like this ring, it's so ew," that I will eventually see. You could have continued scrolling, or better yet, LEAVE. If you're joking, then I don't find it funny. I didn't ask you to stay and continue to read. Yet you chose to type on your keyboard and make an effort to leave a hate comment. WOW. I deleted some of those comments and block and mute readers who leave hate comments because you are in MY SPACE. You will not dictate to me on what to do or not to do.

If you want to read something you like, write your own fanfiction. Because that's literally what started fanfiction in the first place, write something that you would like to read. And if you want to read smut, then go and write it and read it.

Also, just because my fics are labeled "MATURE" doesn't mean it only means smut. According to the Wattpad Guidelines:

"Mature stories are intended for an audience that is 17 and up. There are restrictions on discovering Mature stories on Wattpad that help ensure they reach the correct audience. A story may be rated Mature if it contains any of the following: Explicit Sex Scene, Self-harm themes or scenes (including suicide and eating disorders), Graphic depictions of violence, including but not limited to: sexual, verbal, emotional, and physical abuse."

And I know my fics fit into that category because of my graphic depictions of violence.

READING LIST NAMES | To those who didn't know, we fanfic writers could see your reading list names. Yes, we could see these reading list names, "🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮"  "Never read again." "Shitty fic," or whatever you name your reading lists. It notifies us. So, before placing an offensive and rude reading list name, remember to be sensitive to the authors who will receive those notifications and might lose their motivation and spark to write their fanfiction. You just ruined it for them and to anyone who sees it in your reading list, hence not giving new readers to start the fic and have their own opinions about it.

TRANSLATIONS & STORY REQUESTS | I do not accept any translations. EXCEPT those whom I had already allowed to translate back then, and are on my reading list. Those are the only translations I allowed, but for now, since I had a bad experience with a translator, I will no longer accept translations. I also do not do story requests. I am sure other writers on this app are willing to take your requests, but I am not. I already have too many fanfictions in mind to work on.

FANFIC ETIQUETTE | It's simple, just be polite, avoid leaving rude ass comments and demanding updates, respect the author and the ships and fandom they write for, don't sell fanfics or put it on GR for reviews or leave any review at all unless the author asks, and "don't like it, don't read it," rule.

Vote/Kudos, and commend the author for their writing. Ghost readers, it's not that hard to leave a simple compliment. It is THAT simple. Many readers forget that fanfiction is a FREE work, written by the author for fun and self-indulgence in their SPARE time. And you're consuming it for FREE. You paid ZERO for it. It is SHARED with you, not made for you. No one is forcing you to read it, you CHOSE to read it.

Please remember that. I honestly think it's very easy to remember. You don't have to ruin the space that's meant to be enjoyed by everyone. Fanfiction is literally a privilege to those who are in a fandom. It's a blessing.

I'm polite to nice readers, but will answer those rude comments when disrespected. Think before you click because I will defend my fics no matter what. I will mute and block readers who waste my time or suddenly pick fights out of nowhere. And most of all, I will block and fight users who claim to "love" writing fanfiction but then plagiarize my shit.

This announcement will be posted in all my completed fics. I apologize to the new readers who don't know what's happening. You caught me at the wrong moment, but I'm also human and feel just like any of you. I will not let rude readers walk over me while I stand by and do nothing. If I feel petty. I could just unpublish all of my fanfiction on my account so nobody can read it anymore, but I won't, and I know many of you love my fanfics.

And to those nice readers, thank you so much. I appreciate the support you've given me throughout the years of writing here on WP and now on Ao3. And to my old readers who have been with me since I posted "REDAMANCY," you're amazing. I hope you all have a wonderful day. And I do hope you all understand why I had to make this announcement and set some needed boundaries.
