mi-cha gets kicked out from the volley ball team due to a silly reason.

Thursday; 28.10.2020.

I rushed to my school along with Meyeon. All thunderous thoughts ran up in my head, could Mr. Song Siyi disqualify me? Does he want to change my team? Maybe he wanted someone to volunteer.. Once I got to the campus the first thing I did was to rush to the studio room where the organization indented players to play basketball and volley ball. I saw Mr. Song Siyi with a white checklist.

I turned to my right to see that Meyeon was nowhere to be found. I am really not scared of Mr. Song Siyi, he has always been nice to me but after seeing how he treated the boys, I flinched really bad the other day.

The dull walls are painted grey, I could barely stay in my senses because todays wasn't a usual day for me. Of course, its because I've found my childhood bestfriend kookie! Just thinking about him makes me want to float around in the white fluffy eternal and ethereal cloud 9. I heard Mr. Song Siyi calling my name [mi-cha's p.t teacher]  I spun around just to see his face look so disappointed and furious with a hint of worry.

I have never seen him in such a weird state before, he had the same white checklist which was now almost crumpled. He spoke, "This may not be appropriate for me to inform you in this way  but you are rejected from our volley ball team, it wasn't me but the organization who planned it out. They found another played to replace you with who has a much better current streak of 108." "I'm Sorry." he said that after a long break within the letters.

I was raging mad, especially when all the students who were working out turned to this avertable scene and started whispering which Mr. Song Siyi had caused. Guiltiness rippled through my whole body, tears started to form and bubble in my eyes and ultimately filled my eyes. I ran out of the studio to see Meyeon waiting for me at the stairs of 1'st floor.

As soon as she saw me, she came running to me and by seeing that I was about to cry, I swear she tried her best to consolidate and comfort me but it wasn't as strong as the first time when she motivated me. [HINT: Can you figure out who was the mysterious "Cupcake"?]

Meyeon said that she'll walk me home, "Hey don't worry! Or we can go to that café to see that guy you like" She said teasingly while tickling me. "Oh come on! There's no way I like him!!! He is my best friend remember?" I spoke confidently. "Doesn't prove that you don't have any special kind of feelings for him" She whispered in a husky tone. Okay but why does this seem way true than my confidence?

Meyeon wanted to accompany me but her home is closer to the school so she had no option but to leave me and trust that I'll go home safely. It's been 15 minutes and I'm still walking my way home, I regret not taking a taxi when I saw one. "Hey watch out" I heard someone scream and the next second I saw two buff looking men standing behind me with a wide smirk across their faces. One of them who had an overgrown mustache took out a walkie talkie and murmured "Target Found" I was scared and all I could do was run so I did, there's no way I could compete against two full grown buffy gym men. I knew I wasn't in a C or K-Drama to wait for the main lead to come and rescue me.

Somehow both of them easily caught up to my speed not to mention I'm a fast runner. I abruptly stopped which almost made me to lose balance, "Okay fine, what you both want from me?" I asked in a scary tone thinking it'll scare them away but no it didn't. "Our boss is looking for you, we need you to come with us" Said the guy with an overgrown mustache. "Who's your boss and why is he looking for me?" "I'm sure that you're the one who stole his salmon" "Pardon?" I scoffed. "Yes, I'll call him right now" Said the other guy. "Whatever I feel like I'm in a skit honestly"

I mumbled, trying to distract them from me. Apart from their looks, they actually spoke gently. I wonder who their 'boss' is? I mean I have never stole anything or ever even tasted salmon before in my entire life! What are they even talking about?

In a distance, I saw kook in his bicycle with a abnormally large fishnet. I was about to scream out his name but to my shock those two buff guys called out to him, are they going to chase him too? I started to panic but to my horror, the guy with a mustache mouthed kookie as "Boss, here" Jungguk parked his bicycle near the playground and came running. "Mi-cha? what are you doing here? Are you okay?" I just nodded.

He spoke to the men "Guys, I told you to find the cat which stole our shop's salmon. Not her?!" One of the men started but suddenly stopped, "Wait what? but- oh.. Sorry boss, I misread the peach bowtie as a peach boba tea. I mean she has a boba in her hand" He said while pointing at me.

Jungguk and I bursted out of laughter at the same moment. I admired that, I really did. I loved his laugh sinse we were kids. He saw me admiring and said "Stop making me get emotional with that impassioned look" While trying to control his laugh and tears. "Don't worry, I'm still here, your naekkeo jagiya" He said trying to smirk when he was already laughing. "Yah pabo! I know that now stop crying." I spoke while ruffling his hair, it was as fluffy as I remember 11 years ago.

The two men butted in and said, "Boss you might want to change your status." [side note: the men meant jungguk's relationship status]

I just stood there giving the buffed guys a awkward stare and a smile. "Oh shoot! We have to search for the salmon and the kitty" With that those two were nowhere to be seen. "Mi-cha" I head kookie's voice calling me. "Yes? You wanna say something?" I asked. "Yea actually my mom wanted to see you in person so she invited you for dinner, if your free then can you come around tomorrow?" He asked while rubbing his neck. Cute I thought. "Sure! And I haven't seen your mom for years, also don't tell her that I'm going to buy her a gift. "That's so sweet of you, hop on I'll give you a ride home!" Kookie looked so happy and excited. He's such a bunny.
