Satisfaction brought it back

DAY ONE; Celia Cohen is currently sitting beside her granddaughter, softly caressing Thalia's pale cheeks.

She sighs in relief and says, "I'm glad that you chose to come back. I know you won't answer, but doing this just eases my mind," as she brushes Thalia's brown hair with her fingers.

Pursing her lips, she leans down and places a gentle peck on her granddaughter's forehead and whispers in her ear, "I'll be here when you wake up, I promise, my darling," Then she stands up and smiles while looking at Thalia and turns around, and is greeted by Carlisle, with a nod, she leaves him behind.

Carlisle walks towards Thalia's unconscious body and sits beside the foot of her bed, "Maybe the venom didn't work," he says while turning around and seeing Alice and Rosalie standing at the front door.

Alice gracefully skips towards him and places a hand on his shoulder, and looks at Thalia.

"I've seen it. She will be one of us, Carlisle," she tells him, her voice laced with excitement and confidence.

The pixie really is sure that Thalia will come through with the transition.

"Rosalie," Carlisle greets as she looks back at Thalia and continues, "I know you're against Thalia being one of us."

Rosalie rolls her eyes and shakes her head, "I have years to accept that Thalia will be one of us, at first when Alice told us that a twelve-year-old banshee is going to be the love of your life and will become like us, I was against it, who wouldn't be? But you dealt with the situation properly and waited until she's of legal age, yet you waited too long to meet her," she tells him as Carlisle sighs.

Carlisle knew what she meant exactly. If he had just gained the courage to meet Thalia early before Liam made his move, the past events shouldn't have happened.

However, it did, and there is no one else to blame but Liam. He's already dead and burning in the fiery pits of hell.

Rosalie looks at his 'adoptive father' and sighs. She doesn't blame or hate Carlisle for changing Thalia.

She has thought about whether the places are switched, and she and her wife are in Carlisle's and Thalia's positions.

She wouldn't even have doubts about saving her wife and letting her continue with the transition, and she is sure that her wife will say the same.

That's the funny thing about love. You will do anything and everything for that person to stay, or in Carlisle's situation, live.

"I'm glad you changed her. Thalia already-somehow has a soft spot in my heart. I wouldn't know how to deal with it if I lost her," the blonde woman admits.

She didn't want to. She very much would like that confession to be private for herself to know.

She never lets people in. They all know that especially her wife, but in times like this when Carlisle needs assurance.

And she will gladly do it for him. In a way, this is how she shows her gratitude to him for only one reason, Carlisle is the one who introduced Rosalie to her wife, and she couldn't help but feel thankful for him.

"She'll do just fine, Carlisle, trust me," Alice chirps in with a wide smile on her lips as Carlisle answers, "I trust you, Alice."

DAY TWO; Edward is currently looking at Thalia with a frown. The brunette's mind is silent, with no voices, no whispers, none, just quiet.

Then he remembered what Celia told him, that their ancestors were helping Thalia with her transition. That was the answer she got from the old woman when he addressed his concern.

Thalia Elie Bennet, in a way, impacted his life with her kindness. His first impression of Thalia isn't one to be proud of, he was rude to her for a day or two, yet somehow, Thalia just had that kind of aura that melted his ice-cold glares.

The brunette woman is great when it comes to the topic of conversations, he liked talking to her and how open-minded she is about everything, no bitter, harsh spiteful thoughts, just kindness and purity, much like Esme's he relishes in reading her mind when the ancestors are not screaming in her head, it sounds strange now that he thinks about it.

Speaking of Esme, the woman walks towards Edward while placing a comforting hand on Edward's shoulder. "You don't need to worry. Thalia is a strong woman. She'll wake up," she says with sincerity in her voice.

Thalia Elie Bennet reminded Esme of her younger sister, Jane Platt, and how she loves, adores, and misses her dearly.

After she got married to Charles Evenson, the man never allowed her to visit Jane, and that caused a great deal of distance and straining of the relationship between the two.

After she changed a few years later, Christopher informed her that Jane Platt died of tuberculosis, and she never did anything to fix their broken bond, not that she had an opportunity because of the circumstances that she was dealing with. The Platt family all knew that Esme Anne Platt was already dead.

When Carlisle introduced Thalia to their family, a new sense of hope invaded Esme that she had another opportunity to have another sister, and it was the chance she took without hesitation.

"I know, I'm just worried," Edward answers as he leans on Esme's shoulder with a tired sigh escaping his lips.

"You'll only stress yourself with those worries. Trust Thalia is all," Christopher says as he makes himself known while he walks towards them.

He is confident that Thalia will make it through with her transition. They all knew how painful it is to change. It was the most excruciating and agonizing feeling that every vampire had experienced.

Yet, he believes in Thalia and how admires the woman and that after all of the things she went through, she chose to live despite it all.

"Come now, let's give her some space. She'll wake up tomorrow," Esme says as she escorts the two men out of Thalia and Carlisle's room.

DAY THREE; the last day, or so Carlisle hopes it is. Anxiously looking at his wristwatch, he sighs and sits on the sofa, his back slumping, as Jasper and Emmett enter the room.

"She'll wake up soon. I feel her emotions resurfacing," Jasper informs Carlisle with a stern nod.

At first, when Jasper is asked what he thinks about Thalia knowing what they are, he'll disagree.

However, when he feels Carlisle's longing after the blonde doctor visits and watches over Thalia when Alice tells him about Thalia's future screams.

The honey-blonde man slowly accepted over the years that Thalia would be part of the family, and he understood Carlisle and his emotions about being parted from a beloved partner. He knows it all too well.

On another note, he did really enjoy Thalia's company, as the rest of the family knew of his past.

When he told Thalia he thought that he would receive judgment and resentful emotions from her, yet he received the opposite really.

He received an emotion of acceptance and understanding. Unlike the rest of the Cullens, they had a hard time dealing with his past, especially his scars, well, except for Alice.

And that was when Jasper knew that Thalia Elie Bennet is different from the rest of his so-called 'adoptive family.'

Emmett, on the other, is extremely excited for Thalia. He'll finally have another mother figure in his immortal life, all Emmet remembers in his human life.

It is that his mother passed because of a respiratory infection, and that they didn't have the money to give her the medical treatment that she needed, and then after their mother passed.

His father left him and his sister, making him the sole provider for his sister, and then the incident happened, and he left his little sister all alone. "She's going to be a tamed newborn," he tells them.

Jasper nods in agreement as he crosses his arms on his chest and says, "Her love for humanity will surpass her bloodlust."

"Isn't that cool," Emmett smirks as he pokes Jasper in the chest? The honey-blonde man slaps Emmet's fingers away. "I'll beat you in our wrestling match."

Jasper rolls his eyes and smirks. "You keep on wishing that," he says as he rushes towards the door and goes to the living room with Emmet following behind him.

"They're old, and they still act like children," Carlisle mutters as he shakes his head, stands up from his seat, and walks towards Thalia.

Then Thalia Elie Bennet opens her eyelids, revealing her crimson red eyes.

Author's Note:
➵I AM NOT GIVING THALIA A BLOODLUST PROBLEM, I REPEAT, I AM NOT GIVING THALIA A BLOODLUST PROBLEM, she's been through so much, and I want her to have an unproblematic immortal life,, I'm not that cruel, I want her to have a break.
