𝖝𝖛𝖎𝖎. Niklaus's Little Games

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐍:
Niklaus's little games
(S2:E18 - The last dance)

"OKAY, POP QUIZ." Niklaus, in Alaric's body, shrugs the shirt on, turning around and facing Elijah, who is standing on Katherine's side who is sitting on the wooden chair. "The dagger is already in your possession, Elijah?"

Elijah gives him a curt nod, answering shortly, "Yes."

"Shame, you are kind of a buzzkill, brother." Niklaus retorts, "But, of course, she doesn't think you're a buzzkill." Niklaus muses as he continues to fix the collar of his coat. Elijah just hums mockingly, looking at Niklaus with a deadpan expression.

Katherine raises an eyebrow looking in between Niklaus and Elijah, wondering who the 'she' is.

"Anyway, the dagger needs to stay in your possession. Or else she would get mad at me for letting you die." Niklaus huffs, rolling his eyes as Elijah strides in front of him, fixing his coat.

"Do not forget that you're having a lover's quarrel with your girlfriend." Elijah reminds him, taking a step backward and placing his hands behind his back.

"Right. Elena's aunt. For all the lies about Isobel." Niklaus shakes his head exasperatedly, walking towards Katherine. "What else?"

"That's it." Katherine answers quickly, with Niklaus's hand brushing her hair, making Katherine flinch, "Oh, so jumpy."

"Please, just... kill me." Katherine pleads nervously, stuttering, "I've told you everything that I know."

Niklaus hums, placing his hands in the arms of the chair Katherine sat in, leaning forward with Katherine trying to back away from him. "Death is far too merciful with what I have planned for you, Katerina." His voice was low and threatening. Elijah watches their interaction silently, his phone pinged, receiving a text message from Genesis that she texted the others to meet at her house.

"I want you to take this knife," Niklaus tells Katherine as he takes a foldable knife from his back pocket, "And stab yourself." Katherine looks up at him, hesitantly taking the knife from his hand, with Niklaus encouraging her with his eyes.

Katherine stabbed her leg, a painful groan escaping her lips as her leg began to bleed out.

"Now take it out." Niklaus orders, and she does what she's told as Katherine releases a yelp.

"Now, while I'm gone, I want you to do that over and over and over again. And if you get bored, switch legs." Niklaus tells her with an amused tone.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm gonna go lay eyes on my precious doppelgänger," Niklaus answers, leaning forward again, placing a kiss on her forehead as Katherine went still. "Oh, don't look so glum, Katerina." Niklaus says as he places a hand on her chin, "The fun is just beginning."

Elijah shakes his head, amused, grinning, "I received a message from-" Elijah clears his throat as he looks at Katherine, then at Niklaus, "Her, and told me that I should meet with the others."

Niklaus nods as they both walk towards the door. "And who is she or her, if I might ask?" Katherine asks intriguingly.

Elijah looks over his shoulder as he opens the door, "You'll know soon enough." Elijah answers cryptic, with Niklaus releasing a chuckle, then saying, "Again!" as he closes the door shut.

With Katherine stabbed herself in the leg with the knife again.

"I THINK MY MOM KNOWS SOMETHING." Caroline sighs heavily while Giana wraps an arm around her sister's shoulder, soothing Caroline's anxiousness. They're gathered in Genesis's living room. With everyone present in the crowded room. Genesis, Elliot, Rose, Elijah, Cassandra, Simon, and Bonnie.

"I'll talk to her, don't worry. If mom does know something, she should have done something right now." Giana assures with a tight lip smile as Caroline leans on her sister while Bonnie places a hand on top of Caroline's fumbling fingers, squeezing it assuringly.

Cassandra then says softly, "Your mother would never hurt you, Caroline."

"I know. I'm just worried." Caroline responds with a frown. Clementine looks at her mother in worry. If Liz would have a bad reaction to Caroline being a vampire, imagine if the Sheriff learns that her most trusted friend is part of the most powerful coven in Asia.

"Why not be honest? With your mother, it's better for her to know from you alone than from somebody else. And she'll be able to process it all." Elliot tells them with his thick southern drawl, with Simon and Rose agreeing with the nod of her head.

"It'll be easier to hide your secret, Caroline. Your mother is part of the council, and she'll know it firsthand if the vampires here in town are at risk. She'll warn you first." Rose adds with the Forbes sisters nodding their heads in thought, then sharing a look, staying silent.

Genesis says with a soft smile. "If anything goes wrong with telling your mother, call me." Caroline nods, gratitude in her sad eyes. "We will be expecting Niklaus in the '60s dance. Let him play his little games with Elena. Then we'll proceed as planned."

Genesis already took Clementine to the location of the witch Massacre, with Clementine siphoning their magic-almost too powerful for her, so Genesis suggested storing the magic in the necklace that Genesis gave her. Cassandra has been familiarizing herself with the location of the original doppelganger's birthplace.

With Genesis tells Bonnie to play along with saving Elena. But as soon as Niklaus made his presence known in the school. Simon will take her sister home safely.

Rose and Elliot took care of the bait vampire, with Maddox taking care of the werewolf-he plans to use Miss Mayor to lure her son here in Mystic Falls because of a very, very tragic accident.

When it comes to breaking a thousand-year-old hybrid curse, Niklaus had learned to prepare for any backups-backup vampire (an unlucky passerby), backup werewolf (Tyler Lockwood), and the backup witch (Maddox).

Jonas and Luka had already paid their debt to Elijah, but they didn't want to move out of town yet until Bonnie learned how to master her magic. Simon told Genesis that he had been thinking of her offer and that Jonas informed him that he and Luka planned to move to Seattle, Washington. That Jonas offered Simon to go with him.

Caroline was tasked with fooling Elena into thinking that she didn't know anything that was happening-but she knew everything.

And Giana. She just wants Damon dead. She's the most unlikely to be suspected of planning Elena's murder since Caroline told Elena and the Salvatores that her sister doesn't want any part of the supernatural bullshit--in Giana's words.

Lastly, Genesis and Elijah make sure that with Niklaus's arrival in Mystic Falls, it all goes according to plan. Genesis hasn't seen Niklaus in Alaric's body or gone to his apartment. She would like to see Katherine's gaping face when she learns that all this time, Genesis has been with Niklaus from the start.

Genesis loves a good and unexpected reveal of events. After finalizing, they all went their separate ways, with Elliot and Rose to decide to separate the new vampire and put them in the tomb-the vampire is currently in Genesis's basement, unconscious because Elliot snapped their neck.

Giana, Clementine, Caroline, and Bonnie went home to prepare for the decade. While Simon helps Cassandra prepare for the spell that will be used on putting Niklaus on his original body and the spell to be used when breaking the curse with Jonas and Luka deciding to lend them the grimoires they have collected over the years.

So, Genesis and Elijah are the only ones left in the house, with Genesis pulling Elijah to her large walk-in closet to pick the dress she'll be wearing. "I never did like '60s fashion," Genesis tells Elijah, who was sitting on the plush fur chair in the corner of the room with a glass of blood in his hand.

"Too colorful, in your opinion?" Elijah looks at the dresses that are hanging on the racks-primarily black, and darker shades of color are present.

"Too tacky," Genesis adds while pulling out another piece of clothing from her Louis Vuitton trunk labeled the '60s-suddenly feeling relieved that she didn't burn it. Genesis closes the curtain and changes.

Genesis then opens the curtain with her dressed in the over-the-knee skirt with sewed folds, a polka dots top with a ribbon by the neckline, and a short coat matching the skirt with the sleeves reached by the elbow, she to a spin and with her hands held out laid out to Elijah expectantly.

"A '60s wealthy housewife with two kids living in the suburbs, and your husband is heir to his family fortune." Elijah muses with a grin on his face, and Genesis releases an airy laugh.

"That's oddly specific." Genesis chuckles, placing her hands on her hips with a tilt of her head. Elijah shrugs in response, still a grin on his face, as Genesis turns around and enters her changing room with another outfit in hand.

Then she opens the curtain taking two steps forward with an expectant look, she's wearing a light green dress that shapes her figure and fits her body like a glove, smoothing out the curves, and it goes well with her skin tone.

"First lady preparing for her first U.N gathering," Elijah comments, and Genesis laughs again, rolling her eyes. "We can't have that, and Caroline said she's dressed as Jacqueline Kennedy," Genesis replies as she puckers her lips to the side, kneeling on the floor and looking for other clothing in her trunk.

Then she remembered something. She stood with enthusiasm as Elijah watched her movements curiously. She walked towards the racks, scanning the clothes until she pulled on a long black dress, skipping over to the changing room.

Then a few minutes later, she walked out of the changing room wearing a long tight sleeveless black dress that accentuated her slim figure, paired with black gloves that stopped just below the elbow.

Elijah was just looking at her, gawking, and Genesis grinned as she raised an eyebrow at him. "I guess this is the dress. You're tongue-tied. I'll do the commentary."

Genesis clears her throat as she goes to her jewelry box, taking a diamond necklace. She struggled a bit when clasping it behind her neck.

Elijah is suddenly behind her. Her nose was invaded by his rich perfume, and how she felt his body shift behind.

"Thank you." Genesis turns around, her back against the table, inches away from Elijah. He was towering over her, so he took two steps back then, Genesis says. "A widowed wife attending her filthy rich husband's funeral, but the tears are not because of her husband's death but because every deed is in her name-tears of joy?"

Elijah nods, smiling as he tucks his hands into his pocket, standing straight. "You took the words out of my mouth." His eyes gazed at her as if he had memorized every part of her body-she suddenly felt nervous. She shrugged it off then her eyes caught how Elijah slowly licked his lips, his eyes flickering to her lips.

Genesis grinned, turning around, and heading towards the changing room, but she felt a calloused hand wrap around her elbow. Suddenly her surroundings shifted as Elijah spun her about, chest pressed against each other as her hand went to his shoulder. A hand went up to the back of her neck as Elijah captured her lips, with Genesis responding instantly.

Elijah wraps his arms around her waist, boosting her up as Genesis's legs wrap tightly around his waist. He turns around and sits her on the cabinet drawer with Genesis wrapping an arm around his neck as her fingers raked his hair, tugging him closer. She released a moan in between her lips as Elijah pulls away as his lips went to her neck, peppering feathery kisses on her skin and Genesis's head thrown back, giving him more access, and she felt Elijah's hand go to the back of her dress.

Genesis reluctantly pulls away, both breathless, with Elijah looking at her questionably yet worried in his eyes. Then Genesis says, "You are not ruining Audrey Hepburn's dress." Elijah's face softens, feeling relieved as he chuckles deeply. Then Genesis places a quick kiss on his red lipstick-smudged lips. Genesis wipes her thumb across his lips, removing the stain then Elijah catches her thumb with his teeth-without pressure.

"I didn't know that biting is your kink, Elijah." Genesis teases, eyebrows wiggling as Elijah helps her down to her feet, and Elijah chuckles as he tucks a stray curly hair behind her ear, leaning down right to her ear and then saying his voice low, velvety smooth, and deeply rich. "Would you like to know more?"

Genesis lightly slaps his chest, saying with a roll of her eyes--feeling flustered, "Tease." She walks away and then gives him a look as she closes the curtains of the changing room.

Genesis didn't notice Elijah looking at her jewelry box with, reminiscing in his hazel brown eyes as his fingertips brushed the pear-shaped emerald ring.

After Elena invites Genesis inside the Salvatore house, they discuss being close to the school premises because apparently, his game has started, and he compelled someone to tell Elena to save a dance for him. Alaric-or close Niklaus. And Bonnie pretending that she channeled the power of the hundred dead witches while Damon provokes her of not being strong enough they proceed to the dance.

"I know what Klaus looks like, and let me tell you, he isn't here," Genesis tells Damon as she pours herself a drink after Niklaus compelled someone to dedicate a sound to Elena. Then Alaric approaches them, asking, "So, what does this Klaus guy look like anyway?"

Genesis grins at Alaric, and Niklaus groans internally-he shouldn't have asked that. "You know, a british with dirty blond hair that always has a smug look on his overly confident face." Genesis motions her hands to her face as she describes with an exaggerated smug look on her face.

"Honestly, he doesn't look handsome," Genesis adds with a mocking tone as Alaric's face scowls.

Alaric responds while looking at Damon with a chuckle. "Maybe his humor makes up for it."

Genesis shrugs, her nose scrunching, "Dry humor when I met him, pretty creepy."

Damon nods in agreement, "He is being a creepy old dude right now." crossing his arms to his chest as Genesis discreetly winks towards Alaric as she takes a sip of her drink. Turning around and then walking away from them, she can feel Niklaus's annoyance burning at her back.

Then Niklaus began his game, with him compelling two students to distract Damon and Stefan. Genesis alerted Simon to come to the school and get the body out of the way. She sees Alaric at the other side of the room, with them sharing a nod as he walks out of the gym. Caroline looks for Clementine, Giana, and Caroline, with them dancing together. Genesis walks toward them as she says, "Go home." They pursed their lips and headed out.

After Elena, Stefan, and Damon learn that Niklaus possesses Alaric's body. Bonnie did what was according to plan. Bonnie and Alaric are in the cafeteria, with Bonnie pretending to hurt him. Elena, Stefan, Damon, and Genesis rushed toward them.

Simon entered the back door, grabbing Bonnie by the shoulder, "If you use too much power, it'll kill you, Bonnie! And I wouldn't let that happen." Simon yells out in frustration as Alaric gets through to the other side of the room by Genesis.

Simon looks at Damon, Stefan, and Elena with anger, "This is the last time I would let you get my sister killed." Simon tells them as he scoops Bonnie into his arms and exits the cafeteria. Elena looks at the Salvatore brothers in panic.

"What are we going to do!?" Elena yelled out then. Damon was about to rush to Genesis when she yelled.

"Get her out of here!" Genesis yells in urgency as Damon hesitantly walks out. Stefan grabs Elena's shoulder, and they leave the school premises.

Genesis brought Niklaus down to the ground, muttering a spell as his wounds healed. Niklaus sighs in relief as his body feels warmth rush all over his body. He chuckles, looking at Genesis.

"Hello, there, dearest Genesis. Great performance." Niklaus grins as Genesis pulls him into a hug with a laugh escaping her plump lips.

"Niklaus, you little shit, you almost ruined my dress."
