Velvetcloud walked up to the ledge and into the medicine den right when nightfall was upon ThunderClan camp.

The tan she-cat checked on the sleeping Cloverkit, fed her some poppy seeds for a peaceful sleep, and curled up in her own nest.

Velvetcloud could stop thinking about what she had done. What kind of cat kills her own sister? The medicine cat sigh deeply and looked outside through the large hole in the wall that let in light.

It was pouring over the forest territories and thunder booms as the storm raged. Lightning flashed right outside causing the she-cat to briefly close her eyes.

When she opened them, she was in a completely different world. It was early dawn, and she was standing in what appeared to be the- WindClan camp? Velvetcloud was extremely confused then she shivered with pure shock and fear. The camp was filled with bodies of Clan cats. There was a giant pile of bones in the center which didn't appear to be the skeletons of any prey she knew.

She realized that her pelt was torn and bleeding and there were bits of rubble stuck to her tail and paws. 

Suddenly there was a movement in the bare, burnt bushes, and what appeared to be a Clan of cats with bloody spiked collars emerged. One large white and cream she-cat with a blood-red spiked collar followed the group from behind and the rest of the cats turned and bowed.

Velvetcloud's vision suddenly became blurred and she couldn't make out the she-cat's face who was stalking towards her. 

Suddenly a unrecognizable meow was heard through the silent scene. Velvetcloud was ready to hear a long, complicated prophecy but instead it was a simple and understandable sentence that still sent shivers up her spine. 

"Beware of the cat who wears the red collar."

Then the white she-cat pounced so close to the medicine cat that she could see all th clan blood that stained her pelt.

Velvetcloud screamed causing Cloverkit to jump awake. 

The tan she was trembling. 'That "prophecy" was very unlike StarClan. I need to tell Thornstar about this-' she thought, shaking with terror.

"Oh StarClan. We just had a mass murderer pass through our territories once. Please don't let it be another one," Velvetcloud whispered, "What did ThunderClan ever do to deserve this?!"

She stumbled franticly out of the medicine den, barely looking at Cloverkit, her thoughts racing of the great impact that was nearing with every second.
