George's P.O.V
It's peculiar. Elena didn't answer her door. I didn't go in as I did not want to intrude or interrupt her if she was doing something. She didn't come to breakfast either which was weird because it's been a while since she wouldn't have breakfast with us. Going up the stairs her plate in hand I knocked on her door.
"Elena?"
No answer. I knocked once more. No answer. I sighed and just opened the door hoping that I wasn't invading her privacy.
"Hey Elena I'm sorry but I-"
I stopped. No one was in the room. Her belongings were gone too. Charcoal, I finally learnt her owl's name, was nowhere to be seen. Quickly, I ran to the bathroom. The door was shut. I let out a sigh of relief and rammed on the door.
"What?!"
The door flung open revealing Ron a robe on, his hair wet and a toothbrush in his mouth.
"Oh um have you seen Elena?" I asked taking a step back.
"No." He said, impatiently. "Why would I?"
He flung the door in my face. Fucking hell. Running back to the kitchen I interrogated my mum, dad and Ginny who was just there.
"Do you know where Elena is?" I questioned, worry growing inside me.
They all shook their heads. Mum giving me a quizzical look.
"Why? Is something wrong?"
"I-I can't find her. She isn't in her room and her stuff is all gone." I answered, panic clearly evident in my tone.
"Have you checked outside?" Ginny said, pointing out the window.
My eyes widened and I ran towards the door.
"Wait!" Ginny called from behind me. "I'll come too!"
I couldn't see her anywhere. In front of me was just plain grass with weeds nothing more. No sign of her or anything relating to Elena in fact. The wind howled around me the sky above not looking too good.
"Hey what's that?" Ginny pointed to something in the grass. Odd it seemed like some sort of light and was illuminating the patch of vegetation around it. We've never had light's outside unless Dad installed some weird new muggle invention he found again.
Walking over, against the force of the wind, we took a closer look.
"It's a wand!" Ginny gasped, as she leaned over and picked it up.
It indeed was a wand. But it wasn't any of ours or from anyone else in the families. I actually had not seen this wand before in my entire life.
A realisation hit me. "Do you think this is Elena's wand? She just never showed it to us?"
The information had hit her too. "It could. I mean it seemed she knew about the Wizarding World so it wouldn't be surprising if she had a wand."
"Where did she go?" I finally asked the question that had been bugging me the entire time.
Ginny looked at me.
"The real question is if she was taken or not."Β
