"Elena!"

Gasping, I awoke. I couldn't get the dream out of my head. My eyesight was blurred with my tears but I felt two comforting hands intwined with mine.

"You're alright. You're safe. Nothing is going to hurt you," a familiar voice said soothingly.

Slowly my short gasping breaths evened out and my vision cleared. It was only then did I recognise the voice.

"G-George?"

"Hey," he whispered, "I heard you while I walked past your room a few minutes ago. I just wanted to make sure you were ok."

"I-" but I was cut short by the sob that I couldn't hold back.

I vaguely felt his arms wrap around me and pull me closer to him. I felt warm and safe in his arms. He whispered comforting words to me while allowing me to cry into his shoulder. The tears kept coming and I couldn't stop them but George never pushed me away. I finally allowed myself to let go of all my worries for once.

Once I had calmed down, he asked, "do you want to talk about it?"

I shook my head quickly wiping away my tears. He understood and didn't push on the subject. I pulled back from him finally aware that I literally just bawled my eyes out on his shoulder.

"O-oh my god! I'm s-so sorry!" I exclaimed, scrambling away from him.

"Hey, hey! No, it's alright! You were upset and I was just um comforting you." He said, awkwardly.

The was a silence where neither of us said anything. We just stared at each other.

"Well, I better get back to my room," George said, standing up. He looked at me and opened his mouth once more. "If you ever need someone you know where to find me."

He was by the door when I finally spoke.

"George?" He turned around.

"Thank you," I whispered, but loud enough for him to hear.

He gave me a small smile before disappearing into the hallway.
