Grabbing my bucket hat and mask I left the house. I didn't want anyone to see me. To see my face or any other part of my body. Nobody needed to know who I was. Entering Waitrose & Partners Edgware I grabbed a shopping cart with my gloved hand. I browsed the shelves for the essentials I needed for the next 2 weeks. I've never liked going out. I don't like interacting with people. They always ask too many questions. They always push past my boundaries.

I violently grab a packet of 2-minute noodles and throw it in my basket. A couple turns and gives me a weird look. I quickly walk away to a different aisle, keeping my head down. I hate it when people stare at me. It's why I try to make myself unnoticeable all the time. It almost never works, but I do it anyway. After paying for my groceries, I exited the store and subtly made my way to the Leaky Cauldron.

Yes, I knew about the magical world. I mean, I was his daughter so why the hell would I not know about it. I entered Diagon Alley and went straight to Eeylops Owl Emporium without any delay. I wanted to get out of here as soon as possible. I grabbed some treats for Charcoal, my pet owl that I had bought back when they were alive without their permission. It was fun having a pet because when I was left alone, I still had company in a way. Charcoal didn't bother me much which I liked and was always there perched on the windowsill. I didn't send any letters to anyone so Charcoal really didn't have any use to me. But, I kept him anyways because I had grown some sort of attachment towards him. I allowed him to fly around outside once every week. Sometimes he wouldn't return for days, but I trusted him and he always came back to me.

I payed the man at the counter swiftly and left the shop as soon as I could. Then I hurriedly made my way back to the Leaky Cauldron so I could get home. Someone bumped into me and it made me drop my things on the ground. I caught sight of red hair.

"I'm so sorry!" It was a girl and she looked at me in an apologetic way.

I mumbled something like "It's fine."

Then I quickly grabbed my things from the floor. I wanted to get out of here from as soon as possible. I walked past her after I collected everything, trying to forget the situation that just happened.

"Hey wait!" The girl's voice came again. "You forgot something!"

I turned. What had I forgotten? She caught up to me and handed me my bracelet. I rapidly grabbed it back. This was my bracelet from... well him. It was the only ever present I got from them. The bracelet was very special to me. It was a MΓΆllenborg golden snake bracelet that wrapped around my wrist.

"Thanks," I said, quietly.

"I like the bracelet." She commented, "Where did you get it from?"

"It was a present." I murmured.

This day was getting worse and worse by the second. I just wanted to leave.

She seemed to notice how uncomfortable I was so she swiftly said, "Well, I've got to go. I guess I'll see you around?"

I nodded and spun around, glad to get out of here. I slunk back into the shadows and made my way home in the darkness, not daring to move into the sunshine incase of more attention being put onto me.Β
