Third Person's POV

Whilst temperatures in Tokyo, Kyoto and across most of Honshu remain high in September (avg temp: 23-25°C), days can be punctuated with intense periods of rainfall driven by the typhoons that hit the southern islands during the month.

Infact, September is the wettest month of the year in Tokyo...

... With Jack and Yuri...

It probably seems like night 2 AM when Yuri woke up just to see a very unfamiliar place.

She found herself tied up then got to know about that mysterious figure was no other than Jack.

Whom she had met back in NYC when she was in the a Café with Kanade and Hanako.

Kanade once had said about her previous connection with Jack and Yuri really felt bad for her heart broke because Jack was totally a jerk.

As noted, the data suggest single people are happier and more satisfied with their lives than commonly believed.

Yuri believed it but here something else happening with her being stuck in someone else's business.

She just hated it for dragging our herself in a stupid drama which really didn't make any sense to her. Who is this Lucy?

Japan ranks tops the charts of the Global Peace Index as the safest, most peaceful country in Asia.

But when it comes to crime not a small single country is left behind.

Who's fault is this? Of course some greedy humans who literally lost their humanity and causing trouble for some innocent people as they're being used for there own benifits.

"Oh! Just let me go you freak!", Yuri was struggling in the chair to break free and Jack was standing there in amusement seeing her struggling.

"Aww my my it's feels so good to see you captured in my net my gold fish", he mocked.

"Just return back to NYC or I'm gonna send you to the jail of Tokyo!", Yuri shouted panting.

She just couldn't do anything. Her red ruby pendant hidden beneath her black hoodie came out because of the shaking.

Jack noticed it, "Well what a pretty beautiful thing! That Ruby is definitely matches with my Sakura's gorgeous eyes". He moved forward.

He touched the stone while Yuri continued moving and shouting, "Don't touch it".

Jack looked slightly irritated but smiled smugly, "Wow so this is also a precious thing of yours huh? So let's just take it". Jack pulled the chain out of Yuri's neck forcefully.

"No please stop. It hurts", her neck hurted badly but Jack removed it anyway.

"This pathetic chain doesn't deserve you", instead of taking it he threw it away on the floor. "No please don't...", Yuri muttered looking sad.

"Huh the thing I love to see... Sadness, pain, grief of every people whom I hate and you're not an exception Sora Aoi!", Jack looked coldly at Yuri.

Yuri didn't replied back she just looked down at the gift given by her best friend lying in the ground carelessly.

"So where was I? Oh I remember! I'm about to show my art on your beautiful face. I hope Lucy will absolutely like it when I'll send you to her along with this stuffs", Jack pointed at some cardboard boxes which Yuri didn't see earlier. "What are those?", She narrowed her eyes.

"Hmm there's a very hidden organization of us smuggling for drugs and costly gemstones well you can say any costly things that'll make us money to live long. We love being Cruel and it's so funny to see others mourning for their small stock of savings whom we took in with one blow", Jack made a sound with his fingers.

"That's insane! Do you ever know how much people suffer for your this stupid greed?", Yuri asked.

"Huh! As if we care. Look in this world money is everything. It can by every little thing the ones you haven't even seen with your own eyes. And who cares about people? In this world you're all alone you've to survive in your own way. Either honest or evil way", Jack said. Yuri looked down.

Yuri could've protest but what he said she hate to admit but it were all true. But then the question comes what's the point of life living in honest way? Yuri asked herself.

Could there's any way we can stop this overwhelming cruelty? Somehow even we try a little?

"So Lucy is the one who killed Lily right?", Yuri asked out. "Yes she did. I'm the living witness of everything and I'm proud of my sister", he replied when Yuri wrinkled her eyes in disgust.

She hate this Harley siblings for god's sake without knowing Lucy but till then whatever she learnt she had no hope for this brother-sister.

"So nice play Miss detective. Hope you've got all the unanswered questions about Sakura and Lily? Now your time coming to an end. I've wasted alot of time talking to you", Jack said to Yuri.

"What do you mean? You're one who took me here. I've no intention to chat with a jerk like you", gritting her teeth Yuri replied boldly.

"I'm thinking now why Lucy even wanted to have you alive for time waste while I can be the one who should end your story right here! And then you'll be buried just like Lily, right next to her. Then go as far as you can and tell the story of how you met this Jack Harley and how you ended up like Lily", Jack's this word made her silent. "Is it all over?", She thought.

Jack was slowly moved forward to raise his Knife as Yuri shut her eyes tightly but the contact never happened as a voice interfered, "STOP RIGHT THERE!". Yuri knew the voice very well.

"You?", Jack widened his eyes. "So we meet again traitor", Kanade walked forward with a half smile.

"Senpai! Did you find Oh My!", Hanako gasped seeing the scene in front of her.

"Hanako quick! Contact with others don't worry I can handle it go now!", Kanade ordered as Hanako ran to the entrance from where they came.

"Well well the main heroine of our show has entered into the arena so why are we waiting for?", Jack gestured in a dramatic way.

Kanade gritted her teeth, "Leave Sora alone! She's nothing to do with our matter".

"Why not? After all she's the one who walk alone to fall in my trap now my time to play with you Sakura~", he walked near as Yuri went tensed and very uncomfortable of his presence.

"Love me Senpai, look I can kill anyone for you", Jack pointed his knife at Yuri's face coping Hanako's tone to say his own words.

Kanade's eyes widened then her long black hair bangs coverd her forehead as dark aura surrounded by her.

"Oh my the great Dr. K.K.Sakura is out of words? Where gone your arrogance?", Jack smirked.

Kanade silently approached to him while he was seeing what she could do.

Suddenly... "*Slap*", the sound of a slap echoed in the room. Yuri stopped what she was thinking and looked at Kanade.

"*Slap*", another slapping sound in the same place. Yuri saw Jack was standing there in pure shock touching his cheek... "You..."...

Kanade cut him off by saying, "Shut up! Don't speak any word. This slap I should've given you when the day you betrayed me when I last see you in the hospital". She gave him a death glare.

Jack's face twisted in anger and hatred towards Kanade. "I guess I was really wrong choosing you cause you're too full of arrogance of accepting my love okay then I know how to get what I want", Jack raised her knife at Kanade but suddenly she noticed a iron rod and hit it making the knife out from his grasp.

"Ghaa!", Jack hissed moving backward as the metal hit his right hand.

Meanwhile Kanade picked up that knife and cut down the rope attached to Yuri freeing her. Then she threw away the knife on the floor.

"You alright? Did he hurt you?", She asked worriedly. "Oh my goodness thank you so much for coming Kana!", Yuri hugged her tightly.

"I was so worried about you I'm glad I found you", Kanade hugged back.

"Tch! So buttery for a reunion... Hey Sakura I've not finished my business with you. If I can't have you none will", Jack grabbed Kanade's hand forcefully as he somehow managed to get back that knife and used it as his weapon.

"What?!", Kanade flinched but couldn't get time to move aside from the sharp blade.

"NO-!", Suddenly there was Yuri in the middle of them and the blade hit her instead of Kanade.

"Oh Dang! You stupid GIRL! Why you always come to interfere?", Jack groaned in annoyance.

"Cause I'm not like you", Yuri left out before she lost her balance. She stumbled and collapsed.

"No Yuri!", Kanade gasped as she bend down to her friend. The knife blade stuck right at Yuri's shoulder so she was still alive but the wounded place was bleeding horribly.

"You jerk!", Kanade shouted but didn't left Yuri's side. She pulled out that knife from Yuri as she cried in pain.

"Don't worry everything will be alright", Kanade assured her while glaring at Jack.

"What? She's the one who's responsible for coming between us", he just shrugged without any sense of guilty for about to murder her.

Suddenly there were many sounds of footsteps, "Senp- OH MY SORA SAN WHAT HAPPENED?", "What do you mean- wait SORA?" "Sora!"

The people looked shocked at that scene. "SIS!", George ran to Yuri and knelt down to her. "What happened to her Sakura?"

"It's..  HIM!!", Sakura held back her tears but agony and guilt filled her voice.

"YOU?!", Without listening any further information George grabbed the shirt collar of Jack.

"Oof- you all people are very sticky. You stick like a glue everywhere", Jack stated.

"What do you mean? How dare you to hurt my sister? You jerk!", George shouted angrily.

"Oh my isn't it George William? The great elder brother of Miss Detective Lily William? When you become the brother of this Aoi? Haha so funny! I admit it she's just so pathetic like Lily-", but he couldn't complete his sentence as George punched him across his face.

"How dare you to talk that way about Lily? And yes Sora is my little sis just like Lily so it's my duty to protect her", George let him go.

"Hey! George bro! Listen please-", Yuri suddenly called George as he looked at her.

"Sis? Don't talk wait we're taking you to the hospital right now", he replied. "No listen to me... Lucy-", "Sora it's not the right time talking about her..."

But she didn't listen, "No! Lucy... She's the murderer of your sister Lily! Ask Jack he knew everything cause at that time he was present right there and he's no other than Lucy's own brother". Yuri took a deep breath after saying everything aloud.

"What? Are you crazy?", He shouted. "Yes Jack is the partner of Lucy's every crime. She stabbed Lily from behind with a knife as Lily had found their secret details and these stuffs are about to trespass through Tokyo airport to NYC... Please call the police first", Yuri coughed out.

"No! Call the ambulance FIRST!", Kanade shouted. "Ok I'm doing it don't worry Senpai", Hanako dialled the number and went outside.

"Enough drama better excuse myself-", Jack was about to leave but Drake caught him right handed.

"No no dude you're not going anywhere except jail... Emelia call the police hurry!", He ordered. "YES!", Emelia hurriedly obeyed and went outside.

"Yuri... Why? Why you did that? Why you've to come between? I can't forgive myself if something happens to you!", Kanade cried.

"Shh I'm alright and don't worry I'm not getting off your shoulders so easily", Yuri joked.

"You idiot! Stop uttering these nonsense you're not going anywhere like I'm going to let you go anyway", Kanade sniffed then she noticed the left abandoned ruby pendant chain laying on the floor. She picked it up giving it back to Yuri.

"No please keep it safe to you", but Yuri rejected and handed it over to Kanade back.

"Why?", "Shh! Please take care of it it's my precious little treasure just like you so I don't wanna lose it. Give me back when I'll return home okay?", Yuri smiled genuinely.

"My little sunflower... Ok as you say", Kanade wiped off her tears. "Guys! Police and ambulance have arrived", Emelia informed coming running inside along with Hanako.

"Senpai let's pick up Sora San carefully. Drake, Emelia and George said they'll manage Jack and the police", she said. Kanade nodded as they let the people of ambulance took Yuri.

"Well Sakura don't you have to be carefree I'll take my revenge for sure", Jack threatened before the police took him in the car.

Gladly Drake, George and Emelia said them Yuri's situation as the police agreed with contacting them later.

After that the three hurried up to reach to the City Hospital where Yuri was.

... Meanwhile in the Hospital...

Kanade and Hanako had to wait in the waiting room as Yuri was taken into the emergency room for treating her wounds.

There was one certain thing on Kanade's mind if Jack slipped or that Knife hitting Yuri's heart what horrible things could happen today.

"I'm so sorry. I shouldn't be so reckless about Jack. I didn't have any idea he would come to Tokyo following me all the way", Kanade cried hard. "Oh Senpai please don't blame yourself", Hanako hugged her.

"Though I'm a doctor but I couldn't do anything for my dearest friend in this situation I'm feeling so useless", she hugged Hanako crying in her arms.

"No Senpai you're a great doctor. I'm not only me along with Sora San we all are proud of you", Hanako assured her Senpai patting her black hairs.

"Thank you Hanako for always being there for me", Kanade smiled. "For a lifetime Senpai", Hanako smiled cutely.

"And don't worry Jack was a total jerk but gladly I found someone else who is absolutely perfect for you. So I'm not giving up until I become the great matchmaker haha", she cheered. Kanade raised an eyebrow.

"What? Who?", she blinked. "Well you know very well", she elbowed her playfully. Kanade maybe realised something, "Shut up Oh my gosh you devil it's the hospital don't shout like that".

"Hehe that's my Senpai", Hanako replied back happy seeing her Senpai smiling again. She hoped Yuri would be come round as soon as possible, "Oh Sora San be safe..."

~*Some hours later*~

"Well congratulations she's out of danger", the doctor replied when everyone gathered around him when they saw him. "Thank goodness", Kanade sighed.

"Sorry but she needs to be under care for at least one week then we'll discharge her after checking her condition", the doctor replied before walking away.

"Wait! Can we see her?", George asked. "Well we're giving permission to only one of you can go inside cause now she needs rest", he replied. All of them looked at Kanade.

"Sakura! We prefer you go ahead. At least you're the one whom she care about the most", George said.

Kanade looked at her assistant. "Go Senpai", Hanako gave a assuring smile.

"Ok can I go?", She asked the doctor. "Ok but make sure she don't get impatient seeing you", he replied.

"Don't worry sir she's also a doctor. She'll surely take care of these", Hanako smiled as the doctor looked at Kanade, "Well nice to hear that. You know what to do". Kanade nodded.

After he left everyone waited in the room except for Kanade who went to Yuri's cabin.

"I'm glad that you're safe", she looked at Yuri who seemed sleeping soundly maybe because of the medicine.

"Please be alright my dear little sunflower, your sakura is not enough without you", she gently picked up Yuri's right hand.

"Hmm? Kana?", Yuri fluttered her eyes open. "Oh I'm sorry for waking you up please take rest I promise we're never leaving your side", Kanade assured.

"Please stay", the only thing Yuri said. "For you always", Kanade smiled.

They looked at each other as Yuri closed her eyes in tiredness. Kanade smiled softly seeing her, "Sleep tight my little Sapphire".

She stayed for some time until the visiting hours were over. Later when she come out from the cabin she assured others.

"She's safe. She's sleeping right now", George sighed in relief hearing Kanade's words.

"Guys you should take rest. After all you're doing this for an entire day from the freaking midnight", she commented.

"But Senpai-", "No Hanako as a doctor I'm saying to all of you please don't stress yourself. I promise whatever happens I'll give you detailed information so please go to your home. I swear you all haven't eaten from the horrible incident", she cut off Hanako advising others.

"Well I guess you're right", George said and convinced the others also. Kanade was glad he did.

"Please Sakura take care of yourself also", Drake said. "Yes I'll. But I'll go home to fresh then I'll return back here. Actually I thought about staying the whole night with Yuri at the hospital", she commented as others nodded.

"Well let's head back", with that they left the hospital. After sometime later Kanade returned back to check up on Yuri and talking with the doctor. Then she stayed with her.

Others also come to visit Yuri daily making Yuri shooed them away and saying stop worrying about her.

She was really grateful to have some great friends like them. She smiled softly.

One week later she was discharged from the hospital as others were happy for having her safe and secure.

Kanade had to return back to NYC but she didn't agree to left Yuri alone for that moment so Hanako agreed to return back managing the condition of there. Kanade promised she would return back for sure.

She couldn't neglect her job as her entire everything left in NYC. Yuri understood her situation and tried sending Kanade back but Kanade didn't listen.

"I'm not going anywhere until you're fully recovered again", that's what she gave straight reply.

"Well I'm glad that you're here but please don't compromise anything for me", Yuri felt she was holding her back.

"Don't worry I'm not", Kanade put a hand on her shoulder assuring her as she smiled back.

The weather gets colder and more windy. September about to end, October will come.

In Autumn the hours of daylight and the hours of night are the same. In autumn the weather changes all the time.
