Manhattan, New York, USA

Being in New York City itself was all too surreal, like a dream come true.

Buildings raced each other in a quest to touch the soft blue sky and people littered the streets and sidewalks...

"Suddenly, you're nowhere to be found

I turn around and everything has changed

Looking for a way to work it out

I'm trying to find some peace to navigate

... With Sora and others...

After that horrible incident at the way from the airport, Sora and her companions got to know that it was a pre-planned accident.

Some people said it was just like the incidence of 4 years ago but as Sora didn't know anything so she just keep quiet and let others explain.

According to the police it was probably a smuggling team who always made a fuss everywhere so the police and the people would be busy with it while they could do their job safely.

Now the local police and crime agency were very well cautious about it so any citizen and innocent people won't hurt next time.

Hearing all of the things and shoving off the guilty feeling from themselves the aircraft group let out a sigh of relief. They took a little rest in the hotel before planning other things.

The airline Chief informed them the flight schedule would be changed because of this mess so they'd more time to stay in NYC before boarding back to Tokyo.

Hearing that Sora just felt grateful to the chef and God to giving her a good chance exploring NYC after that disaster at morning.

"YAAY! Finally I'm going to explore the City without any other trouble", Sora cheered.

"Ya Sis but please be careful cause I'm not going with you that not means you'll wander anywhere like a vagabond", George warned.

"Oh com'on Bro, you're no fun", Sora pouted then she noticed Emelia and Drake came to meet them.

The two fiance decided to spend some time together so Sora and George also decided to leave them alone and enjoy their own tour in NYC but the four promised to meet each other before 6 PM then they would back to Tokyo.

"Hooo, yooo Drake finally I'm so excited to see the New York shopping mall", Emelia chirped making the three sweat drop. Her purple eyes sparkled.

"Oh com'on why again", Drake put off a sunglass with an awkward face making others laughing crazy.

"LoL sure, though I'm not interested in shopping... you two have fun *wink* but Drake why you bring out sunglass it's not summer, enjoy the spring's warming sun, it's afternoon 3", Sora questioned and spread out her arms.

"Oof- that's called style Sora, that's called style", Drake put on the sunglass and did a pose. Emelia rolled out her eyes at him.

"You boys are just like to show off", she commented. "And you girls are just over dramatic", Drake replied.

"HEY?!", Both Emelia and Sora shouted. "Ouch! My ears, Sora quiet out your loudspeaker", George complained covering his ears.

"Excuse me! But I can't. I'm leaving bye", saying that Sora bade them goodbye and left to enjoy on her own.

She held up her camera, her sapphire blue eyes met the spring's blue sky.

"She's definitely weird", George sweat dropped and shrugged his shoulders before saying bye to the two.

Emelia and Drake parted ways with him to visit the places they wanted.

Sora's POV

Life in New York was upbeat and fast-paced and everyone and everything was moving, but then you crossed into Central Park.

Crossing the sidewalk into the large park was like crossing the border into another world.

The milieu changed from the rapid fire movement of the concrete jungle to slow-moving peace in the blink of an eye.

Skyscrapers were replaced with real trees that stood tall, though not tall enough to completely block out the looming buildings.

Vibrant green grass perfectly covered the ground in place of the bleak blacks and grays of hot cement thatgrass grew between the crevices that the rocks had formed.

I walked up to the majestic flat stones and placed my hand on the one closest to me.

Taking a deep breath, I found a crevice that my foot could reach and hoisted myself up and continued to climb to the top.

Once up there, I turned to face the city and sat down. The rocks were warmed from the sun and although they were rigid, they seemed unbelievably comfortable.

I took some photos with the camera I was carrying with me, I loved to take the pictures of nature instead of people.

I finally saw the the beautiful sun for the first time without having to bend my head back as far as I could since I had been in New York.

It shone down brightly, warming my skin and glimmering off the glass of the skyscrapers in the near distance.

I could finally feel the soft breeze wrap around me and not get deflected from the buildings. I let myself relax in the calming environment.

I watched the people from the city enter the park and watched as their city attitudes give way to the magical ambiance of the park.

I threw my head back and laughed at the absurdity and amazement of it all. Here I was, in New York City, I was having the time of my life.

I had never had so much fun with obnoxiously loud carnival music blasting in my ears, small children stupidly goofing off in front of me, and the smell of food that was so greasy it made my stomach turn.

Things that usually gave me a migraine, now made me intoxicated on my own cheerfulness.

I closed my eyes and took it all in, and I could've stayed on top of that rock but I didn't have enough time.

However, everyone knew that all good things must come to an end. Shortly after remembering chief's words, it was time for me to leave the park. I felt a pang of sadness so I'd to left the place to explore more.

I left the place and headed to the skyscrapers and explored everything.

It was so amazing but it was afternoon so it was still sunlight shining down the buildings not the electronic lights but the afternoon sun giving the sky a wonderful view.

"Huh, so amazing, just I've to visit The Statue Of Liberty then I'm fulfilled", letting out a relaxing sigh I left the skyscrapers but then I noticed someone whom I maybe recognised.

"Wait isn't she Dr. K.K.Sakura ?", Blinking my eyes I questioned myself.

Then I looked at something else and when I returned back my glance she was gone. "Well maybe I'm imaging things", I thought to myself.

Then I was about to turn around again I bumped into someone and lost my balance but thankfully the person caught me.

"Off-", I looked at the person and gulped. Cause it was none other than the person I was imagining about, Dr.K.K.Sakura.

She let her hair open like earlier. She was wearing a black overcoat covering herself fully, finished up with black jeans and black heels, oof- how people wear heels so casually, umm that was not my thing.

"Oh I'm very sorry Ma'am. I'll be careful next time", I apologized and ready to leave the place but she called me,"Hey?" I looked back and replied,"Yes?" She looked at me closely and asked, "Hey aren't you the one earlier from the airline?"

I nodded and smiled, "Yeah I'm Sora, Sora Aoi, Ma'am nice to meet you". "Oh hello and don't call me Ma'am just call me Sakura", She said.

"Ok Ma- I mean Sakura", I stopped stuttering and said out. Oof- why I was feeling kinda awkward, I sighed.

"No problem, so reckless as always silly girl?", Sakura teased with a serious face, I sweat dropped.

Well she sounded kinda different from the hospital. There she was so nice. "Hehe actually sometimes I lost in my thoughts so I forget about my surroundings", I replied with sheepish smile. She just closed her eyes.

"So where are you from? Japan?", Sakura asked. "Ya, from Tokyo actually I live in Kiyose", I replied. "You live here right?", I asked.

"Yes I live in Manhattan", she replied. Don't know why instead of being an Air Hostess I was feeling awkward while talking with her, I looked at the time it was 4 of afternoon.

"Um I better go see ya later", I wanted to escape but I didn't see where I was going and about to hit the wall but Sakura stopped me in time. "Ahh?", I yelped in surprise.

"Com'on girl don't become so reckless ok? Let me lead you or you'll literally hit another wall with your that consciousness", Sakura rolled out her crimson eyes dragging me out with her and I didn't do anything.

"So how many places did you visit in here? You live here so I guess you've already explored everything?", I asked with star in my eyes, she chuckled.

"Oh my actually not all but some places and some I wanna visit but as a doctor I've my duties first so alot time spent there so I can't", she said.

"Wow see those Sakura trees!", I exclaimed pointing the cherry blossom trees.

We were walking on the road and the rows on both sides of the trees making the view beautiful, I took some pictures.

"I want to taste the foods of here, can you tell me the name of the famous restaurant here?", I asked.

"Well Star Gold is the famous one here but I can show you a very well café. It's small but their service is amazing", Sakura stated. I nodded and smiled,"Small and simple is the best".

We took a small road and headed to the place she described, I took some pictures of the sakura trees and saw she was calling someone then she stopped walking and I guessed we'd reached there. I noticed the name- "Café Cobalt".

"Wow this place looking amazing", I looked at the whole area of the building. "Nice", I commented.

"Ya it's my favourite one, small but pretty nice", Sakura was about to enter there then a voice shouted, "Wait for me!". I saw a girl running to us. She stopped when she'd reached to us.

She was the girl I'd seen before with Sakura in the hospital. Oh wait a sec! She had soft brown hair which was wavy at ends. She had elegant eyes which were green in colour.

"Hi! Sakura Senpai! I finally found you", the girl said to Sakura. Sakura smiled, "Hanako, great finally you came. Let me introduce Sora. Sora this is Hanako, my surgical assistant".

"Hi! I'm Minasuki Hanako, call me Hanako. I'm a close friend of Sakura Senpai, hope we can be friends too", Hanako said cheerfully.

"Nice to meet you Hanako, I'm Sora, Sora Aoi. Call me Sora", I smiled back.

"Oh then I'm gonna call you Sora San. Hehe~", Hanako's cuteness melt me cause it was very rare to meet people so nice to an unknown.

"Can I call you Hana Chan? Cause it's cute", I grinned and Hanako nodded, "Sure!"

"Ok enough introduction, let's enter into the Café first", Sakura reminded. "So how's the life of a doctor? And her assistant? But first what is your type? Surgeon?", I asked.

"I'm a gerenal surgeon. General Surgery is not the easiest or quickest medical speciality. A minimum of a five-year general surgery residency will need to be completed...", Sakura said. With that I thought she was finished but she continued.

Just like my physics teacher in high school. I smiled nervously recalling those memories.

"All surgeons are physicians, but not all physicians are surgeons...", And she continued (oof-) LoL I was not a medical student, I was a cabin crew, "God help...", I muttered.

"A general surgeon is part of a surgical team that also includes an anesthesiologist, nurses, and surgical technicians", Sakura finished and I was relieved. I looked at Hanako.

"Ok, Hanako tell me about your job too please", I said. "A medical professional who provides assistance to the surgeon while performing surgery and aids is known as a surgical assistant or surgical first assistant...", She continued.

"A surgical technologist is responsible for surgical equipment management and preparing the operating room. The surgical first assistant is more focused on assisting the surgeon during surgery. Depending on the facility, specific duties may be interchangeable between surgical first assistants and surgical technologists", She finished.

Oh God I thought she was also went to give a long speech like Sakura. "Sora San, what about you?", Hanako asked. I nodded.

"The air cabin crew of a commercial airline share responsibility for the safety and comfort of its passengers. Greeting passengers as they board and exit the plane. Showing passengers to their seats and providing special attention to certain passengers, such as the elderly or disabled. Serving meals and refreshments....", I continued.

"Air cabin crew attendants should possess the following skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work well as part of a team but also use own initiative. Problem solving skills", I mentally sweat dropped but I tried not to give a long speech. Then we sat on a table.

Third Person's POV

"So Miss flight attendant what's you gonna take?", Sakura said in a taunting way making Sora mad at her.

"Hey! You famous doctor can't you stay one minute without insulting me?", Sora got really impatient and her face went red.

"Calm down silly girl don't get mad or your blood pressure will rise, take a breath and relax I'm just calling you what you are", Sakura did a hair flip with her hair bangs that covering her forehead.

Sora rolled her eyes with that and the younger girl Hanako just stayed silent showing the drama in which her senpai and Sora, her Sora San attached with, Hanako sweat dropped.

"Um Sora San don't mind senpai's words she usually does that when she's not in her doctor form, believe me I kinda like the way she becomes so kind and patient towards everyone in hospital but outside of it you'll see how much arrogant and show off she could be", Hanako spilt out the truth making Sakura frown at her.

"Hanako? You don't have to say these things to her", Sakura acted like being offended.

"Um? Uh Hanako?", Sora asked her but really she didn't know Hanako knew her senpai better.

"Oh Sakura senpai we've known each other for 5 years, we're neighbours. We've studied in same school and university. Now our destiny, we're working in the same hospital together being partners and I'm so glad about that. I've known you more better so this words won't work on me you know", Hanako winked at her.

"Ha, ya I know", Sakura showed her actual smile making Sora smiled to at hearing their story. She went silent. "5 years? So long huh?", She asked herself.

Then she took out her ruby pendant chain which was hidden under her light brown jacket, looking at the red jewel she lost in her thoughts.

"But why I'm feeling I've someone very close to me is pulling me like a magnet but I couldn't find out exactly who. Actually Sakura and Hanako are pretty close to each other, and I'm nothing but a one day friend. I've to go back to Japan in Tokyo anyway..."

"Dark for the sunrise

Clouds for a blue sky

Space for the travelling star

Strong from the inside

You're still my lifeline

I feel you wherever you are..."

"I'm glad that I've made new friends in New York but that's the matter of some moments after that 'Who is Sora Aoi? Who'll remember me?' the two will absolutely forget about me right? As soon as I'd left the NYC City, they would forget their brief encounter..."

"But it would stay with me for the rest of the journey, and for some time after. As I'm not so important but why in the world I'm thinking about these type of things why some weird lost long feelings attacked me in NYC? Why I'm feeling helpless? God please help...", Sora thought to herself.

She was silent for some reason and the two noticed it. Somehow Hanako felt Sora was feeling left out so she changed the topic,"Whoa nice pendant Sora San!" Hanako's words brought her back to reality.

"Ya it's a very special gift from someone whom I'm searching or I can say unfortunately I doesn't remember them", she said out sadly. Sakura frowned by hearing that.

"Wait what that means?", She stepped in asking for answers. "As long I know my mom said we're apart for ages but can't contact so the one whom I knew also faded from my memories and only this ruby pendant is the only symbol of them", Sora replied calmly. "Oh!", Both Sakura and Hanako went silent.

"But I remember I've only some hours before leaving New York, I've to observe this place more than I want.", She reminded herself.

"I wanna order the famous coffee of here", she suddenly screamed half scaring the waiter of the next table beside them.

"Um Ma'am your order please we're sorry for late response but now you can give your order with no problem", a waitress came to their table after hearing Sora's outburst.

"Ok one green tea please, anyway I'm not gonna shout like her. Green tea is better it'll rise your immunity", Sakura again started her doctor lesson.

"Ok you Miss perfect but I'm gonna order the famous coffee of here", Sora pointed.

She continued, "Uh! *star in her eyes* I've heard about Manhattan from my flight attendants friends. I wanna eat everything but I don't have that time so just one cup coffee cause their coffee is very famous".

Sakura with Hanako sweat dropped by her out bursting and hyped energy. "But I prefer their green tea is more famous. As a doctor I prefer green tea gives you immunity more than your so famous coffee", Sakura said blankly.

Sora screamed, "What? hey I'm old enough to take my decision you miss arrogant, I'm 22". "So what? I'm 22 too and no, green tea is better. So what about you Hanako? Tea or coffee?", Sakura demanded.

Hanako dropped in tension, "Wow you're both same age and I'm 2 year younger than you two, I'm 20. Um I'll order... Um orange juice!"

"Huh?", Hanako said out making Sora and Sakura mentally face palm with the table and the waitress smiled seeing their state. Sora wanted to change the topic so she asked the girl.

"So what's so special about this coffee?", She asked with curiosity and the girl replied, "It's called Mocha and it's different from coffee".

"Well is it not coffee?", She asked while the other two casually looking as knew everything.

"The difference between Coffee and Mocha is that Coffee is a pale brown beverage made by infusing ground coffee beans in hot water or milk whereas Mocha is a dark brown coffee drink made with coffee, steamed milk, chocolate syrup topped with whipped cream or milk foam", the girl replied to Sora.

"Wow that's so cool", She already started fangirling. The girl smiled and went before saying,"Your orders will come in 5 minutes ma'am".

The three returned to their chatting about each other while their respective orders came to them. "Wow it's amazing", Sora's eyes sparkled.

Sakura smiled but suddenly she noticed someone and narrowed her eyes.

Then blinking her eyes thinking might be it was her imagination, she shrugged and enjoyed her Green tea.

Sakura's POV (Hoo finally I'm able to write her words :D)

"Look it's so cute and delicious, yummy", Sora fully enjoying her Mocha and we enjoying our own Green tea and Orange juice.

"Hanako, really I just can't get it why you suddenly order an orange juice?", I was giving her a weird look.

"Actually senpai when you two arguing about what's best I thought better going with juice so huh", she smiled nervously while sipping her juice. "Anyway health is wealth", Hanako winked and I smiled back.

Meanwhile that guy watching us from distance came forward to say something.

"So hey Sakura! Having a day off from work?", The guy asked kinda nicely but I wasn't looking really happy seeing him anyway.

The guy's greenish yellow eyes met me and I looked away. His eyes were just like a snake.

I gritted my teeth seeing someone whom I didn't want to see in front of my eyes again...

"Jack I'm sorry but I'm not in mood to talk with you", I sounded strict and Hanako frowned along with me not looking so amused.

"Whoa the great K.K.Sakura showed her real form so what about you Hanako? Oiling your senpai?", Now the guy sounded not so nice. Hanako gritted her teeth.

"No Sensai, I'm sorry to say but as an assistant of her as a doctor and a close friend I'll always stay by her side no matter what makes her suffering specially you", Hanako glared at him. Sora looking fully confused about all.

"Ha ha whatever, so hey miss nice to meet you. Myself Jack Harley", this time the guy called by Jack looked at Sora. She just half smiled, "Pleasure to meet you. Me Sora, Sora Aoi".

"Nice!", He smiled. "Whoa! Young miss Sora I've never seen you before in New York City, are you new living here?", This time he, Jack used his so called polite tone.

"Ya I'm from Tokyo, no I don't here to live. I'm an Air Hostess, just here for a day so", Sora said.

Me and Hanako just couldn't bear his flattering tone, Sora just smiled at his words.

"Jack! Keep off your vulture's eyes from Sora", I said in a strict angry tone. "Oh my goodness", Jack looked impressed.

"First you're not done with Sakura Senpai then now you're trying to make Sora San fall in your trap?", Hanako gritted her teeth. Jack smirked hearing that.

"Oh com'on girls, by the way I'm not so interested in this silly flight attendant and don't you forget that I've promised to make you mine?", Jack pointed at me, he really looked creepy and smiled smugly. Sora looked speechless to say something.

"Jack! You basterd! You should be end up in jail when I'd see you in the last time!", I said bitterly.

"Oh that's? Don't worry I'd got the bail you know? Well I've my people who can easily deal with those stuffs", Jack fixed his shirt collar and black hair. "Goddamnit!", I muttered under my breath.

"By the way, Sora! Nice name but don't worry about it Sakura, my eyes will be always on you and you've to come back to me one day, it's my promise", Jack smirked and left leaving me and Hanako in tension and Sora in her utter confusion now I'd to manage. Great! What now?

"THAT FREAKING YANDARE", I hit the table with my fist. The other people inside the Café looked at me.

"Senpai please calm down next time I promise he'll not get in your sight", Hanako tried to encouraged me.

Sora felt helpless couldn't do anything. After we finished our drinks we paid and left the café. I felt disappointed.

"~*whistle sounds*~", "Huh?", I felt something was watching us from behind but when I turned back I saw nothing.

"Maybe my illusion", I sighed and followed my friends until the café Cobalt seemed far away from my sight. I was so done with that guy.

... Meanwhile at the outside of the café...

Jack's POV (OOF- I just wanna kill him)

"Oh my my long time after I'm seeing my most wanted person and what she did? Ghaa God why in the world I love Sakura! Sometimes she's so irritating *cough cough* but still she's so precious for me that only I know", I smiled darkly dreaming about something else other couldn't even able to think about it.

So from distance I'd seen they left the café. Well I'm glad I'd ruined their wonderful moments. Just you wait Sakura! Day by day I'll give you this wonderful treatment that you'll even forget about that even though you're a doctor yourself...", I said out.

"So Sora Aoi Huh? Seems like you care alot about her. Hanako is okay but why you suddenly got overprotective of this newbie? This fact looking a little bit interesting. Well you so stupid pretty girl, Sora Aoi. You don't even know how you'll be the master card of me to reach out my dear lovely Sakura, believe it", I was feeling so amused suddenly.

"Poor girl~", I cooed planning something creepy. "Sakura is mine and my only, no one can take her from my hands. Off sorry silly girl Sora but you're my next pray to get my darling ha", I left out a menacing laughter then took the road of dark alley beside the café.

"I love the dark yeah because it gives you nightmare". Well I noticed them leaving the café.

"~*Whistle*~", I let out an amazing whistle sounds. "Just you wait Sakura! Just wait and watch!", I said before vanishing in the darkness.

Third Person's POV

After Sakura and her friends left the Café they became silent. "Sora, I know there's a lot of things going through your mind but don't worry I'll let you know everything. Hanako and Sora, Follow me", just saying that Sakura headed to the road. They nodded.

"What is really happening? Oh God I hope everything will be alright", Sora prayed and followed the two.

Who is the mysterious guy Jack? And what is this all mess about?

The road vehicles and people are enjoying the comfortable peaceful moment with the shower of pink petals of the cherry blossom.

Every story doesn't have a sappy ending at least we don't know about the future so that why we keep moving forward to make the way with our own efforts. Life goes on...
