𝚈𝚘𝚞'𝚛𝚎 𝟷𝟶 𝚢𝚎𝚊𝚛𝚜 𝚘𝚕𝚍.... 𝙱𝚘𝚝𝚑 𝚢𝚘𝚞 & 𝙷𝙸𝙼.

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗱, you let out a drowsy groan from training you had with your father...

   Gosh you felt all your soreness fade away as your eyes slowly start to close. You already let out soft snores as you take a nap in your bed. 

   Suddenly..

"Y/N GET YOUR BUTT UP WE'RE GONNA HAVE VISITORS SOON!!"

   Honey bursts in the room, you jumped and stumbled down off the bed. You grumble and rubbed your head.

"Mhhhh... Okay."

   You yawn and stretched out far. After you get up and set up the house to look appealing to the guest. You start to wonder who's the guest as you washed some berries.

   Putting them in a bowl you huffed seeing there's less berries.

"Huh, we don't have much. I should go out and get more, the guest might be hungry after a long walk from here."

   You get ready to head out, getting your sack as you head out the house telling Cinnamon who's playing around with her stuff animals.

"Imma head out to get more berries! I'll be back okay?"

"Okay!"

   She said continuing her playing while you walk out the back door, closing it then walk down the hill where jungle/forest is at. Walking in if without a second thought.

    𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁, it was a sloth beside a small armadillo who held a big bag!

"Do you need help?"

"No thanks m'mam I'm good!"

   He grins with a smile, she just smiles back nervously of the young boys back as he hums and walks up the trail with the sloth behind.

"He's a strong fello, he can carry almost anything for someone his age."

"R–Really?"

   Her eyes widens with surprise, impressed in fact, seeing this little man walking so casually with a heavy bag on his back! 

   The sloth man just chuckles slightly at the curious armadillo as he points at variety of thing he never seen before!

"What's your name if I may ask?"

"Oh Mighty! Mighty the armadillo!!"

"How old are you?"

"10 years old."

   She hums in amusement.

"I have a son who's the same age as you! I'm sure you'll get along."

"Oh really? Can't wait to meet him then."

   Mighty smiles a your mom brightly as they walk to the house, before entering they all jumped by a loud voice.

"We're home!"

   Your mom calls out as she opens the door, Miss the sloth—the old sloth hums at the humble home.

"My, it seems things changed here."

"Well my son does have a sense in themes and all hehe."

   Your mom chuckles softly, seeing Cinnamon playing by herself she raises a brow.

"Hun where's your brother?"

"He said he went out for more berries."

   Cinnamon perks up as she looks at the guest, Mighty waves at her happily as Moss smiles at her.

"One of your children?"

"Yes, this is Cinnamon my youngest!"

"I got a lot to catch up on huh?"

   The adults walk into the kitchen while Mighty sets the bag down, Cinnamon peeks behind the couch with amazement of the armadillos strength.

"Wow you're so strong!"

"Hehe, really?"

"YEAH LIKE SUPER STRONG!!"

   She opens her arms up with stars in her eyes, Mighty sweat drops and rubs underneath his nose.

"Gee I'm flattered."

"My brother will for sure like you Mighty!"

   She awes at him, Mightys cheeks had faint blush at that complement and rubs the back of his head with a cheeky smile.

   𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗲, Mighty has been playing with Cinnamon while your mom and Moss talked too.

   She starts to worry as she looks outside.

"I'm getting worried..."

   She mutters. Moss looks at her sadly.

"I'm sure he's alright."

"Yes but he's been gone for a while.."

   She looks down with more worried, Moss looks over to see Mighty with Cinnamon who're giggling at some jokes Mighty said.

"Hey Mighty, how about you go look for Darlas son?"

   Mighty looks at him and nods, Darla—your mother looks at Moss with slight wide eyes.

"Alright!"

"Thank you so much dear boy."

   She said with small tears and pats his hard shell head. 

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗵, you clutched your sack feeling fear crawling up your back, shivering at the thought of many thing that can happen...

   You flinched by a sound of something in the tree, pausing as your whole body tenses up, you slowly turned around and gulped with fear. Looking up to see nothing...

   You let out a sigh of relief as your puffed up tail twitches, moving forward you started to mutter to yourself as you tried to calm yourself down.

"It's fine it's fine, it's almost night but it's FINE I'M FINE–"

   You jumped again and almost screamed when a bunny jumped out the bush, you fell backwards and wobble your arms as you tired to gain balance but failed....

So you ended up falling down a hill.

Yes.

Ouch.

   You tried your best to not scream but you screeched instead as you roll into man bushed, you finally fell stopped but slides against the ground with face first and legs in the air, when you stopped your body slams down, your arms sat you up as you groan and whined about the pain on your whole front body.

   Rubbing your snout as you turn to look up the steep hill you fell from. You wanted to cry a bit by the aching, thumbing pain.

   You whimper seeing your tail frizzed up and dirty with dirt and twigs in it. You furrow your brows as you try to clean/dust it off.

"This day has gotten worse..."

   You whine and rubbed your tears that were building up. Feeling hopeless and lost you already thought of ways to survive.

   Your ears twitched hearing something up hill. You look up as you listened more of the stomping. 

"Helloooo??"

   You jumped by the voice, a soft voice that made you feel calm, you look up to see a head peek up, it was a red and black armadillo with blue eyes looks down with worry.

"Hey are you Y/n?"

"Y–Yes? Who are you?"

   You cower with your tail curled up around you, as you look up with fear of this new person.

"The names Mighty! Don't worry I'll help you get out!"

"W–Wait Mighty be careful!!—"

   He trips, you wince at his fall as he comes down, he rolls up into a ball then crashes beside you—where a hard rock bolder is at.

   You panic as you rushed over to him.

"Hey are you okay!?"

"Y–Yes, I'm okay don't worry!"

   He gives you a grin as he rubs his shell head, he was a bit bruised and dirty on his cheeks and shell. His eyes slightly widens seeing you almost on the verge of tears.

"Mhhhh... WE'RE BOTH LOST AND STUCK!!"

   You wailed as the small tears prick out. Mighty starts to get nervous as he doesn't know what to do when someone is crying.

"Hey it's okay, I'm sure we'll find a way!"

   He tries to pat your back but then you wince by the force.

"Sorry! I didn't hurt you did I?"

   He panics as he looks at you, you sniffle and rub your snout and eyes.

"N–No it's alright, you're very strong though..."

   You say, Mighty's cheeks darkens in red by the complement.

"Yeah I don't know how to control my strength well..."

   He chuckles slightly with a small grin, you felt awfully warm and fuzzy as you relaxed.

   You frown again about the situation now.

"How are we gonna get out?"

"Hmmm."

   Mighty stands up and looks up the steep hill. He looks all the sides then perks up with a smile.

"A–ha! I can rock climb up there and bring down here for you something to climb up there too!"

"But didn't you like trip down here while trying to come down?"

   Mighty pauses with a flush of red embarrassment.

"Y–Yeah but this will work! I'm sure!"

   He grins, that grin and his confidence in his eyes made you feel more safe, as you out your whole faith and trust in him. With a firm nod he starts to climb up.

   You silently cheered for him throughout his way up.

'Go Mighty!'

   You pump your fists for him, looking up at him with amazement in your eyes, then joy when he made it up.

   He waves above with small laughter.

"HEY I DID IT!!"

"YAAAYYY!!"

   You wave back too as you did small jumps, he looks down at the cuteness and quietly fawns over it, but he covers his mind again to get something for you to climb up.

"I'LL BE BACK!!"

"Okay..."

   You say with nervousness. You hear him go as you sat down and just wait, and wait, and wait, and more waiting...

   Okay you slowly start to panic.

   You panicked because of your negative thoughts that clouded your mind.

'What if he gets distracted and forgets about me? What if he just left me here to rot!? What it—'

"Hey look!!"

   With the small tears in your eyes, you looked up with glossy eyes to see him with a big grin.

"Grab this!"

   He throws it down and it's a vine attacked to a log, you tilt your head with confusion.

"Huh?"

"Grab the log! I'll pull you up!"

"Are you sure? I don't want to–"

"It's okay! I'm the strongest not to brag."

   You stifled a chuckles at his remark, you did so and grab ahold of the log, wrapping your small arms and legs around it like a koala.

   Mighty with ease starts to lift you up, you look in awe of his strength, even blushing at it. After all that pulling, he lifts you up and you get up too.

"Thank you so much!! I THOUGHT I WAS LOST FOREVER!!!"

   You weep and hug him, nuzzling his cheek too. Mighty just blushes by it as he softly smiles, he was hesitant to hug you back but he doesn't want it strength to hurt.

"No problem, let's head back to your house before we get lost again—...... I forgot which way to go...."

"WAAAAHHHH NOOOO!!!"

"H–Hey it's okay!!"

   𝗔 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝘂𝘆𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲, you limp your arm by the falls and trips you had as Mighty was holding you in piggyback style.

   You guys walk up the hill and finally catch a break to see your house, Mighty last minute collapses on his stomach, you flinched as you guys fall forward.

"M-Mighty?"

   You poke the back of his shell, the grip your fluff tail with panic and worry.

"Mighty!"

   You stop when you heard small laughter, then he turns around to the left and lays on his back.

"Man what a adventure! One of the best ones I had here!!"

   He cheers up, you overall sweat drop then slowly cry.

"I thought we were gonna get lost so many times... Mhhh now we can rest yay."

   You softly say, Mighty looks up with small widen eyes, his blue eyes looks with wordiness of seeing you softly cry.

"Hey don't cry now, your mom will be sad seeing you sad."

"Y–Yeah..."

"Hey, here."

   You look up from your hand that was wiping your tears to see a flower. Your eyes slightly widens and shines at the beauty of the flower. 

   The small gust of wind made this scene even more perfect, feeling your heart swoon with emotions as you looked at the single plant from Mighty's hand—who's dirty like you.

"How did—... Where do you get this? WHEN did you get his!??"

"Well, you were looking at it earlier, so I got it for when we were leaving but I thought this was a good time to give it to you."

   With a small gasp leaving your lips as you admire the flower, slowly grasping it in your hand.

"It's early yes but I—"

"No, no it's fine... I like it."

   You smile as you rub the last remaining tears from your eyes. Mighty smiles seeing you smile, making him get up and jump back up with energy.

"Now let's go back to the house!"

"Yes and maybe we can eat pie!"

"YYAAAAYYYY!!"

   You both cheered as you guys run to your house. Your mom was smothering you with love as she keeps repeating how worried she was for you, even made small side comments about your messy and bruised fur. 

   Moss and Mighty smile at the reunion, Moss congratulates Mighty of his adventure getting you back home. 

   You and Mighty sat beside each other as you both rant about things and each other, you honestly enjoyed this, and munched on your moms pie with soft pink cheeks at Mighty who explains this one training he had with Moss.

   Your mom could watch you two with joy in her heart seeing you, her son bond with another kid your age.

   𝗔 𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼, sweats at his job picking up boulders for the far side of the village on the island.

"Thank you so much sir."

"No problem miss! Glad to help—?"

   He raises a brow as he looks up to see Ray—a yellow flying squirrel, land next to him with something in his hand.

"Mail for you Mighty! And it's from that island you sent to."

"Really?!"

   Mighty grabs the letter so fast with excitement, his eyes widening with joy and small red cheeks. Ray looks at Mighty with confusion but doesn't bother to ask about his reaction.

"Who's it from?"

'Y/n's sister lol.'

"Huh?"

   Mighty looks dumbfounded, he opens the letter to see your sisters handwriting—Honey.

'Mighty my guy glad to see you're doing alright but Y/n doesn't live here anymore lol.'

"WAIT WHAT!??"

   Mighty grips the paper with shock and worry. He starts to reread the sentence again with a deep breath and continues on.

'He lives in the village nearby, I bet you panicked so much ahaha. Sooo I'll give him the letter you sent to him today! Here's his new address too btw :)

"Blessing?"

   Mighty shrugs when Ray asked that. Ray then watches Mighty walks with the letter still in hand towards their house, as he's about to be prepare to write another one to Y/n. To you.

   Ray looks with confusion.

"WHO'S Y/N AND HONEY??"

'Also I swear I saw hearts coming out of Mighty... Eh.'



   He shrugs then walks over to the house, taking a peek to see Might happily humming to himself with a love grin and a wagging tail.

'Hold on. Is he in love with this Y/n?'

   Ray looks at him still and stifle a laugh at Mighty who groans in frustration and crumble and tosses a paper into the trash can.

'He's so focused.'

   He thought again, as he watches Mighty slam his head against the table that almost made it snap in half.

'THIS LETTER HAS TO BE PERFECT!! Because it's been a while since we talked and I STILL LIKE HIM!!'

   He grumbles with a red face while Ray snickers at his buddy in trouble.
