𝟜. 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿

   𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂, until Eggman came.

   You squeak as you pushed a villager out of the way of burning fire. You look up at the new robot Eggman made, a fire robot.

"Stay here until my friends arrive okay?"

   You say to a villager and hid them behind a boulder. Your face turns serious as you run over to bot then slid underneath it before you attacked you, grabbing its iron legs and causing it to fall forward.

   You quickly stand up and dust your pants, you giggled at the robot who wobble it's arms and try to get up, then stopped seeing it get up.

   You get in stance of defense as you're ready to attack but then raise a brow to see it attack someone else.

   Someone at the ice cream stand. You were about to yell to them but then felt a gush of wind behind you.

'About time.'

   You sigh in relief then run towards the scene.

"Y/N!"

   You look behind to see your other friends. You grin brightly seeing them here for help!

"Hey guys! Eggman made some fire robot, cool right?"

"Y/n what did we say about admiring an enemy's creation?"

"Don't admire it..."

   You say with a nervous grin as you remember Amy scolding you after you almost got knocked out by one of his robots before.

"He can admire it as long as he wants!"

   Eggman shouts from sitting on a bench. You perk up seeing Sonic who jumped up from fire shooting, you look ahead to see another villager that way, so with panic you run as fast as you can then jump towards them.

   Grabbing them and getting them out of the way of the fire. You watched their own stand burn. You wince at this as you feel the villager clutch on your arm.

"M–My pumpkin stand... MY PUMPKINS NOOO—"

   They stand in front of their burning stand then go to their knees and wail. You sweat drop and pat their back.

"S–Sorry about your pumpkins...."

   You jumped when you felt cold claws around your waist. The villager jumps too to see you getting taken away by the fire bot.

"W–What's going oonn—AAAAHH—"

   Your eyes widens seeing you almost surrounded by fire. You desperately grip on its metal arms.

"Sonic, THE EVIL ANTI-FIRE BOT TOOK Y/N IS GONNA PUT HIM IN A TREE!! SURROUNDED BY FIRE!!"

"AAAAAAHHHHH—"

   You wailed as you held the huge tree trunk, your tail curled up around the tree trunk, you started to crawl up the tree truck with your amazing climbing skills, with absolute panic.

   Sonic and the others eyes widens.

"Y/N!!"

   Sonic zooms over but stop at the fire that was on the ground. He looks around as he starts to worry more of his friend who wails more, that's when he perks up seeing a house, he narrow his eyes and runs up the house on the roof.

"Y/n listen to me!! I'm going to run towards you, but I need you to jump when I do so!"

"WHAT!??"

   You yell back, you squint your eyes by the smoke as you look at Sonic with feared eyes. Sonic does the same seeing you like this, he clutches his gloved fist as he has an urge to—....

Nevermind.

   He shakes his head out of those thoughts then gets ready to jump/run. He takes a couple of steps back, gets steady as he aims to where to run and how close to get to you.

   You watched him go and run with full speed leaving a blue streak. With a deep breath you took, you let go of the trunk, putting your full trust in Sonic. Like when you were kids.

   Sonic reaches his arms to you, as he grits his teeth in nervousness.

   You felt arms around underneath you.

   You slowly open your eyes to see Sonic who slid across the ground as he held you in his arms.

"S–Sonic... WAHHH THANK YOU!!!"

   You said with crocodile tears as you wrap your arms around his neck and nuzzled his cheek.

    Sonic stopped working, his mind becomes blank, but his face and eyes,.... His cheeks flushed in red as his eyes widens by the affection.

"Y–Yeah dude no p-problem..."

   He wants to return the gesture but he feels like that'll be weird for the both of you so he gently pulls you off with a small smile.

"Sonic! Evil anti-fire bot is putting a kitten in a tree!"

   Tails say, Sonic then helps you up and runs to the scene. You overall tremble by the experience from the tree and your realization of the affection you showed to Sonic.

'EEEEE—I hope I wasn't weird about it or made him uncomfortable!!'

"Go evil fireman!!"

   Your thought were cut off by Eggman, you all—Tails, Sticks, Amy and Knuckles deadpanned at him.

"OK! I admit it. It's mine, evil robots are what I do!! Why stop if you're good at it!?"

(No, no, no he has a point.)

   You sigh with a face palm, you all looked over after a boom was heard, you see Sonic stood victorious like always with a fire bot without its head.

"I,... Um... Left the oven on."

   You watched Eggman scurry away. Then you turned to look at Sonic.

"Ha, looks like that robot is 'FIRED'!!"

   You just smile softly with a small chuckle at Sonic's joke. He did a small finger gin with his snarky grin during his joke, but you questioned why he pointed at you?.....

"Hey?... No one laughed when I said it..."

"Aww Knuckles I'm sure it's because everyone was busy saving the day!"

   You pat his arms with a reassuring smile, Knuckles seemed more better as he just pats your fluff head.

"Thanks plum!"

   There goes another blush on your face by the nickname and action.

"Hehehe, you're welcome.."

   You scratched your cheek. That's when you look behind to see a kitten in a tree.

'That poor cat!'

"Sticks, could you get that kitten out of the tree?"

"Sure thing Sonic!"

   You look at the tree with worry for the kitten seeing it meowing hopelessness. Sticks runs up to it and starts to violently shaking the tree.

"Uhm, Sticks. Sticks?."

"Sticks...."

   Both you and Sonic walk up to, you were behind her as you shared worried glances with Sonic.

"Sticks!!"

   The cat gets off and lands on your fluff head.

"Meow, meow."

   The kitten starts to purr on your head sending you shivers of the vibration. With a small smile you get the kitten off and starch its chin before putting it down and watching it leave.

   𝗔 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗺𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗲𝘀!! Joking it was just covering them in icky, gross slime. The dog thing is Sticks new pet, Buster! He's a small tin can robot dog who pukes slime.

   Where were you during all this? Well you were fawning over a certain letter from someone~

   Your tail puffs and shivers as you grin with love of the letter from Mighty. He's been updating you what he's been up to, you guys don't really have any communicating deceives so sending letters to each other helps!

   You let out a small sigh with a smile and put the letter away in a decorated box of letters from him, you keep them and reread them whenever you feel down. 

   Honestly it's what been keeping you moving on from Sonic.

   You put the box away then let out a small yawn.

"When was the last time I gotten a good nap?"

   You walk towards your couch then plop down on it, on your stomach too. You snuggle against your pillow as relax your whole body to rest.

   You groan as you felt something wet on your head, slowly opening your eyes, you see a dog? It was panting and green slime drips from its mouth.

"What da—!?"

   You paused when you touched your head then look down at your finger tips, green slime...

"EEWWWW!!!"

   𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲, everyone had angry/annoyed faces, everyone had slime on them, you had a awkward face as you ick at the slime that drips from your cheek.

   Sticks just smiles fondly at her pet—who burps up more smile.

"Who's a hungry little cluster? Who's a hungry-wungry cluster-wuster, huh?"

   You sweat drop at her baby talk to the dog. You were about to pick up a fry that was untouched by the slime, but Buster pukes on it. With a small pause, you inhale a deep breath to handle your small rage.

'It's okay, it's okay, just deep breathes, deep breathes.'

"Would Buster like a French fry? I don't want any, THEY GOT SLIME ON 'EM!!"

   Tails yells out with frustration in his voice.

"Oh, no, no, no! We only eat organic garbage now, don't we Buster?"

"Sticks I'm not sure–"

"HELP!! SOMEONE IS ROBBING THE DANGERCO DEADLY EQUIPMENT WAREHOUSE!! Seriously, HELP!!"

   You guys all look ahead.

   A explosion of smoke comes out the warehouse, two people (or robots) come out with face drawing masks of Tails and Sonic.

'Why do we even have that warehouse?'

   You all run into action, a swarm of bee bots come at you guys, you stop quickly as the bee bots surrounds you.

   You swat your hands to try and get them away from you, that's when one was about to fire at your tail, with an instinct you swiftly turned around and punched it, not really caring if your knuckles start to hurt. 

   A small tingle on the back of your neck alerts you— a bee bot was coming at you with speed. You narrow your eyes, in time, you jumped up from it, it stops in the air and turns around again. 

   When it was close enough you kick into the warehouse wall creating a explosion, you cover your face with your arms like a shield. 

   Looking up you perk up hearing the buzzing sounds going away as they swarm together away from you guys. 

   You raised a brow then you look ahead to see Sonic—who's down and got licked by Buster.

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗮𝘀 𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀, you frown at the conversation that was about Sticks and her pet. You always hate it when your friends argue, you don't know who's side to go to...

(Lmao kin moment)

   You sigh at their bickering, not really paying attention what they're saying. As you just shiver when Sonic strokes your tail.

   You jumped when Amy suddenly screams.

"WAAHH—!!"

   She shakes her head and Buster comes off. Your eyes widens with a small shocked face of Amy's poor quills covered in green slime.

"FORGET IT!! Either Buster GOES, OR WE DO!!"

"Well if Buster goes, I go!!"

   You quietly whimper at your friends fighting, Buster jumps up at Sticks who caught him.

"And I'M not GOING..."

   She growls, you frown with sadness as you felt Sonic let go of your tail and get up.

"Oh, I guess that means we go."

   Your friends leave while you stayed behind, not really knowing what to do or who to go/stay with. You fiddle with your fingers with this decision, you don't want to leave Sticks and at the same time you want to go so you can wash the left over slime from Buster.

"Wait, this is my house..."

   Tails pauses before they left the house. You deadpanned at them with a stare.

   Eggman though suddenly pops out.

"Oh, hello! I was just stopping by with a present for your little Cluster!"

   You guys all blinked with shock and confusion.

"A present, for Buster!"

   Sticks exclaims with joy, you honestly did slightly smile seeing her happy but remembered she's smiling to a evil scientist.

   Eggman tells them about him creating Buster and giving him a present—which was a shiny bone, Sonic and the others are skeptical about this as he asks if it's another of his evil robots again.

   You watched Buster jump up and grabs the bone as he wobbles outside with it. You guys all follow out with Eggman.

"No, it's not another evil robot! It's a evil slime bot. It's totally different thing!"

   Eggman says, you look at the jumpy robot and almost admire its cuteness. Then it chomp down the bone, it stops the it starts to shake, suddenly it's form changes into something small into big! 

   It's arms turns into metal tentacles, it's eyes turns into a glow red too.

'That's not cute.'

   Your eyes widens when a tentacle was about to hit/grab you, Sonic pushes it away and uses his other arm to move you. 

   With small hint of annoyance of it about to hit you and how Eggman looked so smugly.

"Is that the tentacle you stole from the warehouse?"

"Oh please,... I used that tentacle as a back-scratcher. And when I was done scratching, I used it to build him."

   You muttered 'yuck' with a small shiver of disgust, then a cold metal feeling wraps around your waist again.

"Not a—GAIINNN!!"

   You get yanked away from your friend group.

"Y/N!!"

   Your friends yell out your name, you wobble your arms up and down as the tentacle moves, then you place your hands on it and try to get it to let you go. But that caused it to tighten its grip.

   You gritted your teeth by the it! 

    During you wiggling and trying to loosen its grip, your friends. One by one, all get snatched and picked up by evil Buster.

   Eggman laughs at the hopeless team as Sonic grits his teeth showing anger, his team is down, and you're grabbed by it too. And that just made him angry, seeing you in danger.

   So he dashes to try and save you and his friends.

   Buuutttt he ended up getting caught too. Let's give him a couple of points of trying to defeat though!

   You gave up as you just decided to chill and stop wiggling around as you felt your energy being drained. So you put the palm of your hand against your cheek and lean into it as you sigh and excepted your fate.

   After a couple of seconds of hearing a while drama of emotional scene happening behind you, you felt yourself getting put down.

"Huh?"

   You see Buster is putting you down, you drop to the ground and landed easily with a small grace smile on your lips.

"Buster, take out the trash!"

   Sticks commands him. You watched him crawl towards Eggman who tries to run away but gets caught by him. 

"I'm never making on of these agaiiinnn—"

   Eggman yells out as he was thrown into the sky's. You look up in awe at the sky and small confusion of where he'll land at.

   You look down to see Buster shrinking into his small size, he whimpers but lightens up when Sticks starts to pet him.

"Good Cluster."

   Then she was puked on by green slime, you wince at this then softly chuckle with your friends who all laugh.

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵, you had a small handkerchief as you slowly start to get emotional over Sticks and Busters goodbye.

"Wahhhhh friendship goodbyes always make me cry."

   You say as you while your small tears with a sad smile.

"Is it because you think you have to say goodbye to your friends when you get older?"

   You very much paused of what Amy said, she frowns then wails with you and hugs you.

"WAHHH IS IT Y/N?? OH I'LL NEVER LEAVE YOU!!"

'Not unless you want me to be your girlfriend, maybe even wife!'

   She thought at the same time as she thought, you pat her back with a small sad smile. Sonic sweat drops but also felt bitter towards Amy seeing her hug you, even stuffing her face in your fluff chest.

"Hmph."

   He crosses his arms. While he grumble out a few words that no one heard him.

"Hey guys!"

   You all turn to look at Tails who stood by a big purple octopus. You gaped in shock as you see him just so relax by it.

"I found a giant octopus! Think I can keep him?—"

   Then he was snatched by it to be eaten.....

   You screamed like a older brother/mother as you pushed Amy away, you run over with a panic too.
