𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚗𝚎𝚡𝚝 𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐, 𝚏𝚒𝚛𝚜𝚝 𝚍𝚊𝚢 𝚘𝚏 𝚜𝚌𝚑𝚘𝚘𝚕
𝙼𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚎𝚞𝚜' 𝚍𝚘𝚛𝚖 𝚛𝚘𝚘𝚖

Malleus was the first to wake up. He shook M/n's sleeping body. The man was holding him tightly. 

"M/n, it's time to arise for today. We wouldn't want to be late for the first day."

"I don't want to. You can go today.."

"I would, but it seems like a certain someone is holding me hostage. I feel as though I should call my guards~"

"What are you talking abou-" M/n opened his eyes to see a smirking Malleus and his arms wrapped tightly around the said fae. He slowly took his arms off and got up, clearing his throat and blushing slightly.

"Sorry about that Mal, I-I'll be taking my leave now." M/n turned to leave when he saw Lilia standing in front of him with his phone out. He glared slightly at him and let his eyes wander to the phone in his hand.

"I'm going to give you 2 seconds to delete those pictures Vanrouge."

"Make me."

"......." Lilia giggled and dodged as M/n tried to grab the phone out of his hand. Malleus watched the two and started to laugh. This went on for a couple minutes when the door to the room opened, revealing Silver and a new student next to him. 

"Fath- I mean Lilia. Malleus has to get ready for school. So do you M/n. Both of your uniforms are in your closets."

"A pleasure to meet you three!" The boy yelled from beside Silver "I am Sebek! The new guard!"

"Hello Sebek, Welcome to Diasomnia. Please ignore the antics for this morning. We will get ready now." Malleus said in his deep, monotone voice. The boy, now known as Sebek, bowed and quickly walked away from them to get ready himself. M/n glared one last time at Lilia before pushing past Silver to get ready. Lilia laughed once more and left the room with Silver. Leaving only Malleus. Who went to get ready as all the others were.

Once M/n was back in his room, he sighed out of spite and went to get dressed for classes. He grabbed his headphones off the vanity mirror and looked to a phone taped to the mirror.

"Kaveh.." He said quietly, grabbing the picture. As much as he didn't want to admit it, he missed his roommate. M/n loved messing around with him and seeing the reactions Kaveh gave. He wondered how he was doing, if he moved out. If he cared at all that he was gone. 

"Of course he cares." He thought out loud smiling "I still have his house keys."

A set of keys with a charm laid unmoving on the desk. He figured Kaveh had found somewhere else to live at the time being. Or biding his time trying to find a place to live. The thought brought M/n both sadness and joy. Why? Because the man in question probably lost his head when he heard the news of his disappearance.

"M/n, are you ready now?"

"Yeah, coming!" He threw those thoughts aside and folded the the photo to fit in his pocket. He came out of his room, seeing the four waiting for him outside the door "You guys waited? You didn't have to?"

"IT WOULD BE RUDE OF US MASTER M/N!" Sebek said loudly making some students in the lounge turn their head.

"Woah, Just M/n and don't yell, people are still asleep."

"SORRY SIR!"

"I see we're going to go no where with this. Shall we start walking then?" They nodded and walked out of the dorm conversing with each other.

Silver and Sebek had gone their separate ways for their classes. Leaving M/n, Malleus, and Lilia. 

"I think I have Vargas first." M/n said checking his schedule

"As do I. All third years have that first to fit in for clubs and elective classes. " Lilia said looking over his shoulder. They walked through Main Street discussing school and their hours, when M/n saw Grim, and Yuu fighting with a first year.

"Leave it be M/n. It's none of our business."

"I thought I kicked that nuisance out yesterday."

"You did. But it is all in the past. We need to get to the field."

"You're right. I can only hope he doesn't make us do broom riding-"

"Afraid you're going to fall off again~?"

"SHUT UP LILIA!"

"Oh my archons. I shouldn't have said a word." M/n said rubbing his side

"GET BACK UP ON THE BROOMS YOU TWIGS! MAYBE IF YOU WORKED OUT MORE LIKE ME YOU WOULDN'T FALL BACK OFF!"

"I bet M/n works out a bunch.."

"Yeah he's JACKED!"

"In a good way." M/n rolled his eyes at the gossipers and picked up the broomstick. His seemed to have a mind of it's own because it started to levitate again before he got on it.

"OH COME ON!" M/n quickly jumped back on it and rode around quickly. He heard the school bell ring, indicating that the period was over. "Okay broom thing, I'm going to need you to let me down now-"

The broom, in fact, did let him down. By doing a barrel roll and making him fall to the ground with a thump. Malleus and Lilia laughed before helping him up. 

"I hate this class."

"Yeah we know. Though the good part is, it's lunch time."

They went to the locker room and got dressed in their normal uniforms. After about 20 minutes more of walking they got to the cafeteria, grabbed their food and met up with Silver and Sebek to start eating. M/n picked at his food grumpily, thinking about what happened the previous class.

"Yeah, he fell again. Pretty high up too."

"We might have to take you to the infirmary." 

"Guys I'm fine. My back hurts a little but it'll be alright."

"You're not eating.." Malleus said worriedly looking at the plate and back at him.

"I said I'm fine Mal. Besides, I'll eat later at the dorm."

"If you say so. Just inform one of us if you want to go back to the dorm for a break. I'm sure our teachers with understand."

"Yeah." There were many worried looks, but he didn't care. M/n didn't need pity. He was strong and could take care of himself without help. And if they insist, pretend you're fine afterwards. M/n didn't need help. He was perfectly fine on his own.

"That's the bell everyone. Are you coming M/n?"

"Yeah I'll be there in a second." M/n kept himself seated as the four got up and walked away to their classes. He sat there for a bit, occasionally taking a nibble at his food. He heard a couple of running footsteps, then a huge crash.

"What the he-?" He was met with many young eyes on him. 

"I should've known.."

"AH- IT'S THE SWORD FREAK!" 

"I'm not a freak. You merely got on my nerves last night."

"I gotta go before Crowley finds out-"

"If I find out...what?"

"Why is it always me?"
