一 rain's pov

"alex! let's get piercings after school!" i ran to him as fast as i could with my backpack on my back and my board in my hands. he lived a neighborhood away from me so he usually waited for me so we could skate together to school.

"piercings? i don't know about that." alex pursed his lips together.

"please? i got my parents to signed the notice and they gave me money. at least come with me, you don't have to get anything." i begged him, knowing he'd say yes.

"i'll come," he smiled at me. "but we have to stop by the spot afterwards.."

"okay deal," i squealed, hugging him tightly.

"what are you getting?" he asked, hugging me back.

"septum piercing." i answered, knowing it's what i really want.

"not going to hurt?" alex questioned.

i shook my head quickly. i've been waiting to get this piercing and i finally can. "i'll have you there anyway."

after school, me and alex headed towards town to a local tattoo and peircing shop on our boards.

i'm surprising myself by being so calm at this moment. i freak out just getting shots from the doctors and here i was about to get a needle through my nose. i was ready for this.

"ready?" alex asked me as he opened the door to the shop, letting me go in first.

"yup." i answered, walking in with him behind me.

after being greeted by the two artists, i turned in the paperwork i got from there earlier that month along with the money.

soon a girl a girl with black hair and amounts of tattoos on her body led me and alex to a room with loud hip hop music playing.

she wasted no time cleaning around the spot i was going to get pierced with alcohol and getting her supplies ready.

i held my hand out for alex to grab anyway and he took it. if that's not what best friends are for then i don't know what it. alex seems to always be there for me.
