一 parker's pov

hayes seemed to really like ardyce. it's like the way i started to love freya. he came to me the past few days for advice and stuff and we became close bros after getting to understand each other more.

freya has always told ardyce that whenever she got a boyfriend they could always double date. strictly for the fact that freya had to make sure the guy was a good one.

so here we were, freya in the passenger seat, hayes and ardyce in the back bashfully smiling at each other, and myself driving. in the week i felt like something happened between them as they became inseparable. i later learned that hayes sneaks into her room on most nights just to hold her while they slept.

the double date was simple. we'd eat fast food and then make our way to the movies. oddly, ardyce seemed nervous as hell whereas hayes seemed to try to calm her down. it was her first date so that was expected.

at the movies we chose suicide squad by default because there wasn't really anything else to see. sometime during the movie, hayes did the cliché and kiss her after they drank from their shared coke. i wasn't going to judge because hell, i'm sure i did the same thing when me and frey were starting off.

"ardyce all grown like us." freya whispered, dramatically sighing. i laughed lightly. she wasn't the one to talk when she was basically sitting in my lap and she was childish as hell herself.

i kept my mouth shut because she was not going to embarrass me in front of all these people. "yeah she is." i replied, we weren't even all that older just by school year and that i was sixteen.

on the way home after we stopped for ice cream, i made hayes take a picture of us that i could post on my instagram. i hadn't posted in almost a week and couldn't keep my loyal followers hanging, you know?

so school started for me like two weeks ago so i've been busy with getting used to everything and crap but hey i finally updated.
