"Cow? What cow? No cows here!" M/N instantly panicked as a mischievous Atsumu leaped forward trying to steal the ringing phone out of M/N's grasp.

Oddly, the rest of the team only watched on as if it was some kind of common occurrence(it probably was) with an extra interested fox(Suna) taking one hundred and one images of said event.

"Hello??? A little help here? I have one feral Atsumu-san here!" M/N cried out desperately, hoping that someone would wrangle Atsumu off him before he decides to very painfully and forcefully remove Atsumu from him with his own means(which normally includes either extremely heavy violence, or extreme seduction).

Of course, no one came to M/N's aid since it was practically a norm for the Inarizaki team to have a wild Atsumu on the loose. And because of that, it led to an incident...

While wrestling with Atsumu, M/N had accidentally answered the call, and by pure coincidence, Atsumu too had pressed onto the speaker function on the phone.

Not even a second later, a familiar deep monotonous voice echoed throughout the gym as it blasted from M/N's phone, "You should've gone to Shiratori—".

Before the male on call could finish his sentence, M/N's body had automatically decided that he needed to escape Atsumu by any means possible. And because they were practically fighting each other for the phone, they were coincidentally in a rather compromising position where Atsumu leaned above M/N(who was laying on his back, on the ground), trying to grab onto the phone that M/N held above him.

Out of pure instincts, M/N lifted his head upwards, giving Atsumu a quick surprise kiss on the edge of his lips that left him stunned and frozen still. This distraction thus allowed M/N to shove Atsumu relatively harshly off him to hang up on the call.

Everyone else was flabbergasted. Suna even dropped his phone from pure bewilderment.

What the fuxk just happened?

Okay... MY BODY MOVED ON ITS OWN OH MY GOD. MY ACTIONS DID NOT GO THROUGH MY BRAIN AT ALL. AHHHHHHHHHHHH

Though, the good news is that Atsumu seemed to have enjoyed it, if the addition of points is any indication...
Gods, help me... What the hell is my luck?

I'm glad you asked M/N.

Huh, X, what?

:)

- Opening luck statistics -

Player M/N
Luck: - 1,000,000,000

-

What the heck X?!
Why are my luck stats so well in the negatives?!
I guess this does explain why I keep on embarrassing myself though... Like today, I kept on failing to get the fifth ball. It's almost ridiculous!

I don't get to decide the stats M/N, you just suck I suppose.

I facepalmed internally. X was of absolutely no help.

Of course, I ain't.
Who are you to me? My precious?

I groaned at X's sarcastic tone.

As M/N had hurriedly hung up on Ushijima, he tried his best to pretend that he hadn't just smooched Atsumu(though not on the lips, but smooched nonetheless).

"What the fuxk Akiri?!" Atsumu snapped out of his daze, yelling at M/N as he held onto his stomach where M/N had extremely violently whacked to shove him off, while ignoring the weird ass fluttering in the depths of his tummy. Did Akiri hit him that hard?

"Er, instincts?" M/N answered almost sheepishly, which made Atsumu's heart pound(but if you ask him, he would deny it fervently).

"HAH?!" Atsumu appeared increasingly annoyed, he hadn't got a clue how to manage all these foreign emotions that were threatening to bubble up, and thus he channeled it to getting mad at M/N.

Atsumu was just about to aggressively pounce on M/N when Coach Kurosu called for them, "Break's over! Back to our drills!"

Atsumu wanted to ignore the coach to grab ahold of M/N, but a stern stare from Coach Kurosu, buried that thought. How unfortunate.

Aran pats M/N on the back, "You got lucky there, Akiri."

Now, normally those words would offer some sort of comfort to the recipient, but not for M/N. No one had any idea how low he was in luck stats, and to hear someone call him lucky, now that was really, really alarming. M/N felt as though he was doomed.

-

"Let's take a look at your serves Akiri. Kita will receive it on the other side of the court. You'll have three chances alright?" Coach Kurosu instructs.

I nodded my head as I spun the ball absentmindedly within the palms of my hands, getting a good gauge on the ball.

"Alright, start whenever you're ready" Coach Kurosu blows the whistle.

Taking in a deep breath, I prepared myself as I tossed the ball high up into the air before running forward and jumping. My eyes scanned the court as I meticulously chose a spot for me to aim, and once I found it, my eyes locked on target. With one swift hit from my hand, the ball flew with great accuracy towards the top edge of the court.

As I landed, I noticed Kita hurriedly changing his position as he realized that the ball was going to be considered in, quickly adjusting to receive the ball. And much to my chagrin, Kita managed to receive the ball.

Damnit! I need to work on my serves, Oikawa is going to murder me. :(

Of course, my serves aren't as great as the ones that Oikawa and Ushijima conjure up, but they should still be counted as relatively difficult to get. I guess this is why Inarizaki was favored in Haikyuu to win the Spring Nationals. They really do have a lot of potential.

However, despite my unhappiness that Kita managed to get my ball, it wasn't without difficulty. I managed to get a glimpse of Kita biting his lips rather hardly when the ball made contact with his arms, plus the ball left a little bit shakier than normal. I'd take that as a small win for me.

-

M/N wasn't the only one who noticed the minor changes in Kita's demeanor. Seeing Kita put in more effort than usual in getting the serve made Atsumu and Osamu's heart beat. M/N's serve was beautiful, a nice decently powerful jump serve.
They'd wonder who is the better server.

-

By the end of the day, the whole team was nothing short of amazed at M/N. Though the boy was shrouded with so much enigmas and questions(like the coma incident, Shiratorizawa cow issue, and the unintentional? seduction of Atsumu), the team paid no mind to it. Especially Atsumu, whose internal conflict has yet to dissolve or cease. He hadn't got a clue what to feel about M/N. Was it admiration? Hatred? Annoyance?

Plus that one moment of unexpected intimacy with M/N  made Atsumu's mind a puddle of mess. He hadn't got a clue no more. What should he do with Akiri M/N, hm?

Bonus:
Suna went home that day as he scrolled through his gallery checking on the quality photos that he had taken earlier during practice. However, as he looked through his images, Suna's brows increasingly furrowed.

"What the heck?" Suna whispered out in almost disbelief as his eyes stayed glued to the screen.

On each photograph that Suna looked through, on every single image, M/N looked utterly ravishing. Regardless of when or how the photo was taken, any image that had M/N on it, M/N himself looked awesome.

There wasn't even a single shot out of place. From the receiving to the fight with Atsumu for the phone, every shot taken of M/N, he looked absolutely enthralling.

M/N was too photogenic for his own good. There's no way.

Suna shook his head as he tossed his phone aside, grumbling, "Damn, Akiri really has some good features, tsk."

Yeah, so happy Atsumu! I mean wh—?

Also, why is Inarizaki so hard to write??? I'm going to go 100% OOC 😔.
