Keishin's jaw dropped as he witnessed M/N's last save of the ball.
'That speed, that accuracy, and such predictions... He's amazing. Who is that boy?'
Keishin's stared at M/N in astonishment as he observed M/N intentionally withholding power when he returned the ball.
'That boy predicted it. Fascinating.'
Keishin was torn between amazed and frightened at the amount of skill M/N had shown in that one move. He appeared to be pretty average throughout the last set of the match that he was in but at the very last moment, he changed everything. To be able to pull off such a move wasn't just luck and it was definitely beyond average.
Keishin was feeling rather good at coaching these kids. With so many inspirational moments having occurred along with a special extremely late surprise, they might just beat those cats.
"Alright gather round guys!" Daichi called out, causing everyone to huddle close.
With every member's arms linked together shoulder to shoulder, Daichi began, "Karasuno fight!"
Everyone else chorused heartily after their captain, "OSU!!!"
And with that, this marks the end of the current arc, bringing forth a new one.

It was another boring day in class as M/N laid his head on his desk once more as his biology teacher droned on about the human respiration system. As M/N's eyes were drooping to a close, an announcement from the school system speaker made an unexpected call, "Student Akiri M/N from Year 1 Class 5, please report to the general office immediately. I repeat, student Akiri M/N, please report to the general office immediately. Thank you."
Instantly, all eyes were on M/N as he groaned wondering what he had done now. He was certain that he didn't get caught, he is always careful(X in the background: Wrong thoughts M/N).
So what kind of trouble is he in? M/N sighed as he stepped out of the classroom ignoring all his other classmates' curious gazes and heading out to the general office.
Also, because of the not-so-private announcement of M/N needing to go to the general office, it undeniably raised many concerns among the other volleyball club members, with the exception of Tsukishima who was stifling a laugh at M/N's misfortune.
M/N sneezed.
'I wonder who's that jerk who is mocking me.'
-
Ah, screw that person who definitely laughed at my misery. I just hope that I'm not in trouble. I sighed to myself as I approached the general office.
"Ah, you must be Akiri M/N?" A kind lady walked up to me.
I nodded, "Yeah, that's me."
"Alright, please do follow me." The lady smiled as she began to lead the way.
"Here's your stop." The lady declared before knocking on the door three times to alert whoever was inside the room.
Upon hearing the knock, a vague "come in" was heard from the other side as the lady then motions for me to go ahead in.
Gulping out of nervousness, I gingerly twisted the handle before opening the door and stepping within.
"Ah, Akiri. Please do close the door after you." A male dressed rather smartly who sat in front of a desk spoke as I shut the door behind me softly.
Glancing at the man, I was surprised that I had absolutely no idea who he was. Then again, I probably wasn't the most accurate person since I don't even remember what my own homeroom teacher's name was.
"Take a seat Akiri." He gestured me to the chair opposite his desk.
"Thank you." I politely bowed slightly before taking a seat.
"I'm sure you're extremely curious as to why you were summoned here today." The man rested his elbows on the table as his fingers intertwined together.
I nodded my head at his statement and he was about to speak again before I blurted out, "Do you mind introducing yourself since you clearly know me, but I ain't got a single insight about you?"
The man was taken aback for a second but he quickly collected himself. "Ah, my apologies, I guess some introductions are due." The man looked sheepish for a second.
"I'm Mr Enjo, the head of department(HOD) of the current year one students. Meaning, I am in charge of all the year one students this year."
I blinked, my mind still rather puzzled, "Akiri M/N. So Mr Enjo, may I ask why I've been summoned here?"
"Ah of course, straight to the point I see." Mr Enjo smiled as he opened one of his drawers pulling out a few pieces of paper and placing them on the table, pushing them towards me.
My eyes left Mr Enjo for a moment as I cast my gaze on the papers that rested on the desk in front of me. And what I saw left me in slight bewilderment.
"Student exchange program?" I glanced back at Mr Enjo rather distracted.
Mr Enjo nodded as he pointed at the papers that lay on the desk, "Go on, read it. If you have any questions after, feel free to bring them up to me."
Carefully, I picked up the bundle of papers and began to read up on the information regarding this exchange program.
Hmm, it's as stated in the name, a student exchange program. Basically, a few of our school students would be heading over to another school to experience how teaching and learning are done there and vice versa.
"I'm going to be involved in this program?" I questioned.
"You are formally invited to join this, yes." Mr Enjo replied.
"Then may I know the number of students that would be participating in this exchange?" I politely asked.
"Well, the vast majority of slots are allocated to the second years since the third years do have their hands full due to their final year examinations, while the first years generally lack the capability to attend."
I kept quiet, silently urging him to continue.
"There are a total of ten slots available for this exchange program. Three for the third years, six for the second years, and one for the first years." Mr Enjo looked directly into my eyes as he said the last line, and I was genuinely surprised.
"Akiri, you are the lucky first year that was chosen for this program. It's a rare opportunity, so I do hope that you'd take it." Mr Enjo grins as he tilted his head slightly to prove his point.
I nodded my head quickly getting over the fact that I would be the only first year, "Hm, then how long does this program last?"
"About one to two months depending."
"It's that long?" I inquired.
"Well, technically it isn't too long of a timeframe since for this program to be effective, it would be better for the students to be able to stay for a longer period of time for them to really understand how things work there instead of just scraping the tip of the iceberg." Mr Enjo explains as he props his glasses up.
"When does it start?"
Swiftly, Mr Enjo answered, "The following week, around the start of May."
I nodded in understanding as I considered my options. If I were to attend this program, it would mean missing not only the Nekoma practice match but also possibly the Interhigh Preliminaries. Can I afford to miss it? Didn't I say that I'd like to witness the Haikyuu lot unfold with my very own eyes?
With reformed determination, I met eyes with the HOD, "I've decided that I regrettably will have to rejec—"
"Ah, have I also mentioned that the school you'd be going to for this student exchange program is Inarizaki High?" Mr Enjo spoke in an unrecognizable tone, almost too casually cutting me off.
"T-th—"
"The one in Hyogo Prefecture. Yes, that Inarizaki High." A small smirk could be seen on Mr Enjo's face.
"I accept the invitation!"
