"You aren't mad?" I questioned almost shyly.

X cheered on his player M/N excitedly, with M/N easily moving past the incident.

Meanwhile, Iwaizumi was in the shower with vastly different thoughts. Upon exiting the bathroom, he gazed at his bed with an indescribable look. Somehow, he felt like a wife that was abandoned by his husband. Looking at his bed now gave him a different vibe. He could almost feel M/N's hands roaming his body once more making him bite his lip harshly trying to reign in his unholy thoughts.

Even as he lay in bed trying to get a good night's sleep, the seductive look on M/N's face was etched on the back of his eyelids giving him pleasant shivers whenever he closed his eyes. Why hadn't M/N...?

And despite the stubborn imprint that M/N had left on Iwaizumi, he wasn't annoyed at it at all. In fact, Iwaizumi felt happy, elated even. He was definitely significantly above Oikawa now. It wasn't just equal, it was more than that. And just thinking about it made a grin form on the spiker's face.

'Ah M/N, what have you done to me?'

"M/N, this is Nishinoya, our official libero." Daichi introduced as M/N finally attended the next practice day without it getting hijacked by a certain irritating old man.

"Hi, M/N! I'm Nishinoya Yu. It's great to finally meet you. I've heard a lot about you from Suga-san and Shoyo." Nishinoya excitedly introduced himself, gazing expectantly at M/N.

"Oh, hello Nishinoya senpai. It's a pleasure to meet you too." M/N bowed respectfully.

"Ack! S-senpai?! Ah for someone so much taller than me to call me senpai... M/N, I'll treat you to ice cream after school okay?" Nishinoya held his heart as if struck by an arrow.

"Eh? There's no nee—"

M/N was cut off by Nishinoya's firm declaration, "No, I'll treat you. Because I'm your senpai!" Nishinoya puffed out his chest with pride.

M/N blinked blankly at Nishinoya, "Okay..."

M/N somehow wasn't prepared for Nishinoya's vibrant personality despite already knowing of it. Now with Tanaka paired with Nishinoya, things here are sure about to get fiery.

"Oh M/N, it's great to see you again. Where have you been during the last club session? Takeda-sensei told us that you were needed somewhere else, and that it was an emergency." Suga came up to M/N, casually slinging an arm around him like an attached pet.

M/N gritted his teeth in slight fury. 'That was what you told them, old man? That it was an "emergency" ??? Seriously?'

M/N sighed as he patted Suga on the head, "Yeah, I was summoned against my will."

Suga almost purred at M/N petting him as he cooed, "Aw, poor you."

"Yeah..." M/N trailed off as he spotted something that was rather interesting.

Why is Hinata trying to climb Tsukishima like a tree?

"Hey, Suga-san. Do you see that too?" M/N rubbed his eyes wondering if he was seeing things wrongly.

Suga looked confused for a second before looking in the direction that M/N was looking, "Okay, what the?"

"Come on! Just let me see what it's like being your height!" Hinata shouted out as he latched himself onto Tsukishima.

"Oh get off you dumb shrimp!" Tsukishima tried prying Hinata off.

Just another day in the dumb and chaotic practice of the Karasuno boys volleyball club.

Entering the Sakanaoshita store with his newly acquainted senpai Nishinoya to claim his free ice cream, M/N eyed the man reading a newspaper by the cash register, scrutinizing him up and down.

'That's definitely Ukai Keishin. Hmm, he'll be our new coach. How exciting. I wonder how Takeda sensei would pester him again'. An excited smile tugged onto M/N's lips before Nishinoya called for his attention.

"So Akiri, is this ice popsicle alright with you?" Nishinoya questions as he picked up an ice pop.

M/N nodded his head, "Yeah, that's fine. Also, Nishinoya senpai please do call me M/N."

"Oh okay then M/N. You can call me Noya!"

M/N smiled softly, "Ah okay, Noya senpai."

Nishinoya nearly combusted on the spot. His smile was way too tender! He couldn't even get mad that he's taller at all! How could one first year be so cute?

Once Nishinoya had paid for the ice popsicles, M/N had given Ukai one last glance before exiting the store with Nishinoya.

"Here you go M/N!" Nishinoya chirped happily as he passed one of those sugary delights to M/N.

"Ah, thank you."

Nishinoya grinned at M/N before beginning to unwrap his ice popsicle, intending to chomp on the icy goodness as well. M/N on the other hand couldn't care less over what Nishinoya was doing. Opening his own with anticipation.

However, just as M/N was minding his own business, ready to devour his free treat, an annoying but familiar ring alerted him of another incoming mission.
