What the actual hell?
Get Suga to lay on my lap?! We just got to know each other!?

The gods hate me I swear...
Though this mission is relatively kind compared to all my previous ones, we literally just met. How's he going to do something so comfortable with me so fast within 8 days of meeting?
URGH.

Apparently, I also didn't realize that I was just staring at Suga the whole time since I was too shocked and angry at the system until Tanaka pointed it out.
X how could you do this to me?! I thought we were friends. T-T

X magically appeared once more, giving me a sad pout, "I told you I technically don't control the missions!"

X huffed as he stomped on the floor once like an angered child before vanishing from my sight once more.

I wanted to ask him if he was alright seeing that he, all of a sudden wasn't in a good mood anymore, but Tanaka was getting impatient.

"So? Answer me and stop staring blankly already!"

Shaken back to reality I shot a sweet alluring smile at Tanaka saying, "I'm sorry I was distracted by something simply gorgeous." Ensuring that I deliberately made eye contact with Suga.

He blushed at my comment, opting to look away to calm himself down.

"Forgive Tanaka for his rowdiness. So why are you here?" Daichi eyed Tanaka sternly.

"First impressions are important Daichi-san!"

Both Daichi and I ignored Tanaka, "Oh! I was here to inquire on whether or not this is the boy's volleyball club."

Daichi looked puzzled for a second, "Yes this is the volleyball club. Why are you asking?"

"Oh, the thing is I just joined the club. I passed the application form to Kiyoko-san yesterday not sure if she'd inform you yet." And almost as if on cue, Daichi's phone beeped notifying him that he had received a text.

"Huh... It's Shimizu. Ah, so you're the new member." Daichi uttered out, looking at me.

Suga peeped over Daichi as he glanced at Daichi's phone for a second before looking back at me, nodding in approval. His flushed cheeks settled and passed.

I nodded. "Hello, I'm Akiri M/N." Bowing politely to them.

"Ah, I see. I'm Daichi Sawamura, captain of the boy's volleyball team. Welcome, Akiri-san."

"So you're a new member. Hi, I'm the vice-captain Sugawara Koushi, but everyone calls me Suga for short." Suga introduced before nudging Tanaka to do the same.

"I'm-"

However, Tanaka was cut off as a loud cry of my name sounded out as two figures came dashing to the front of the gym.

"M/N!!!!" Hinata cried out as he came crashing into me along with Kageyama who also attacked me.

Surprisingly, I managed to keep my balance as the both of them barreled straight into me.

"Eh?! How do you know M/N?!", Hinata pointed at Kageyama accusingly.

"Hah?! I should be the one asking you that! Stay away from M/N boke!" Kageyama yelled back.

There, both first-years began to argue in front of the gym doors. Sweatdropping, Daichi and the rest proceeded to ignore them as they beckoned me to enter the gym.
I wonder how long it'd take for them to realize that I'm no longer there.

M/N quickly got to know the people in the team and was instantly rather comfortable with everyone with a few exceptions (Tsukishima since he's salty— no surprise there, and Tanaka as he still hasn't gotten over the fact that you talked to Kiyoko— he'll be alright soon) due to M/N's friendly(or flirty) nature.

Meanwhile, Kageyama and Hinata still couldn't wrap their heads around the fact that both of them knew M/N. Especially Kageyama, he thought that he was exclusive ಥ‿ಥ. Now he had to share M/N with even more people.

Daichi walked up to M/N questioning, "Akiri after getting to know us a little more, it's time for us to test your skills. For your health and safety, is there anything that I need to know regarding your health and fitness level?"

M/N seriously pondered for a second before shaking his head, "No, I don't think so?"

"That's goo—" Daichi was cut off by Kageyama's shout. Daichi was getting some serious deja vu over this whole thing again.

"Kageyama, we've told you not to interrupt Daichi-san!" Tanaka made a face crossed between aggrieved and intimidating.

"Ah, gomenasai Daichi-san." Kageyama apologised.

Daichi waved Kageyama off, "Don't worry about it."

"Thank you." Kageyama bowed stiffly at Daichi.

"Hah! Kageyama you look so awkward!" Hinata laughed in the background.

"Hinata boke!"

Daichi pinched the bridge of his nose in exasperation, "Kageyama, so why did you initially interrupt me?"

"Oh! I got sidetracked." Kageyama sighed to himself. "The thing is M/N had just awakened from a coma of around two years eight days ago."

Daichi blinked looking back at M/N.

"Oops, I forgot." M/N looked sheepish for a moment before shrugging it off.

"How do you forget something like that?!" Daichi nearly had a heart attack then. "So are you fit enough for volleyball now? Therapy all done?"

M/N nodded as Daichi let out a sigh in relief. Being captain is hard work.

"Okay, so which volleyball position do you play?"

"All rounder." M/N answered simply as Daichi looked shocked for a second.

"Oh wow. Also, can I assume that you haven't played in two years?"

M/N shook his head. Garnering a look of alarm from Kageyama that M/N clearly pretended not to see. When did M/N play volleyball without his knowledge?

"Regardless, don't worry about anything okay? We'll be objective." Daichi tried to assure M/N, thinking that he was afraid that he'd be rusty and rejected from the club or something.

"Don't worry Daichi-san, I'm perfectly fine." MN spoke lowly, a predatory grin playing on his lips.
