Bright lights flashed into my eyes as I let out a choked cough.

"What the?" I manage to speak out, my voice all raspy from underuse.

"What date is it?" I whispered out to myself while blinking rapidly trying to adjust my eyesight to the newfound brightness.

It's the first day of high school M/N.
Also, the main plot has already started.

"X? Oh shit! I've really been asleep for a long time." M/N gasped out in shock.

"I need to report to school!" I exclaimed,  beginning to scramble about tossing the blanket off my body.

M/N I don't think-

However, before X had the chance to finish speaking his sentence I had already flipped myself off the bed wanting to stand up.
Shamefully, the instance I placed my feet onto the ground to stand up, my legs instantly became noodles causing me to fall back onto the ground with a loud thud.

"FUCK!"

Yeah...

"You freaking liar X! Not only did I not get my pocky, but my muscles also ain't working either! You promised me!" I accused as I wiggled around on the ground since I couldn't get back up no matter how hard I tried.

Sigh.
I was about to tell you that it takes a day for whatever progress you've gotten to integrate into your body. And for the pocky thing, that ain't my fault dear.

"I don't care. Why didn't you say so earlier😭" I sobbed lightly as I lay on the cold hard ground.

"How do I get up?" I questioned pouting at the hardness of the floor.

Er, good question. Since you can't get up or reach the emergency call button... Coupled with the fact that no one is here...

"Well shit. Am I just going to lay here forever?" I whined.

Sadly, I'm now a fish out of water. Laying on the ground, cleaning the floor with my hospital garments. Plus, I WANT TO SHOWER! ;-;

They probably did use wipes or towels to wipe me down but I need to shower! ( ⚈̥̥̥̥̥́⌢⚈̥̥̥̥̥̀) PLEASE.

Oh wow, lucky you M/N, someone's coming over right now to pick your ass up.

"Oh thank the gods ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ."

"What the?" Oikawa looked panicked for a second when he spotted M/N's bed empty. It wasn't until Oikawa looked down then did he find M/N laying on the ground awkwardly smiling at him.

Oikawa blinked blankly.
M/N was still laying down but undeniably awake. Was this real?

"Um, Oikawa senpai, not trying to interrupt whatever moment you're having at the moment but I'm kind of in a predicament right now." M/N stiffly waved his fingers around trying to get Oikawa's attention.

It was only then did Oikawa snapped out of his trance as he instantly rushed forward towards M/N giving him a tight hug, as tears burst free from his eyes.

"Oh my lord M/N-chan! You're finally awake." Oikawa bit his lips tightly as he snuggled M/N even closer into his embrace.

Despite rather adoring the moment of reunion with Oikawa, M/N was very ready to part from the hug. Since he was about to not only about to die from the hard uncomfortable floor, but also from suffocation due to Oikawa's very deadly embrace.

Patting Oikawa on the shoulder M/N whispered out softly due to him not completely used to using his voice again just yet, "Oikawa senpai, I'm glad to see you too, but I'm a little uncomfortable on the ground do you mind if you could...?"

M/N drifted off, and it was only then did Oikawa realize tht they were still rolling around on the ground.

"O-of course M/N-chan!"
Oikawa immediately and gingerly picked up M/N bridal style, gently placing him back onto the bed.

Once back onto his bed, M/N subsequently decided to press the call button by the side of his bed for assistance. After all, after being in a coma for 2 years, he needed to be checked up to ensure that he was alright.

Within minutes and before Oikawa could even have a full-blown conversation or apologize to M/N, the nurses along with a doctor entered the room. And once they saw that M/N had finally awakened, they hurriedly shooed Oikawa out of the room to run some tests on M/N to check up on his current condition.

As Oikawa waited outside after being so sadly chased out of the ward, Oikawa decided to drop a text to notify Iwaizumi about M/N's awakening, also making sure to give M/N's mother a call to inform her.

Waiting for M/N took a while as as it turns out, not only had M/N gotten a full body health check-up, he had also taken this time to brush his teeth and generally freshen up himself despite being unable to shower at the moment.

As the doctor and nurses finally left, Oikawa went back inside the room looking at a smiling M/N.

"Oikawa-senpai, it's nice to see you again. My have you grown."

Oikawa had to once again fight back the tears as he heard M/N's voice. He had at one point in time thought that he'd never hear M/N's angelic voice ever again in his lifetime.

"M/N-chan, I'm sorry." Oikawa sobbed out as he knelt beside M/N's bed, failing to stop the tears from falling.

"Get up Oikawa senpai. Why are you kneeling?" M/N's expression contorted into one of concern as he ignored X's little joke from earlier.

"No, I-Im sorry. If it weren't for my carelessness, you-you wouldn't have needed to save me a-and you wouldn't have gotten hit by the truck." Oikawa shook his head.

M/N's face changed into one of greater concern as he desperately tried to lean over the bed to pull Oikawa up. But due to not using his muscles for a long time, he could hardly even make Oikawa sway.

"Get up Oikawa senpai. You have nothing to apologize or feel sorry for. In fact, it was kind of my fault..." M/N muttered out inaudibly at the last part.

"But M/N-" Oikawa protested.

However before Oikawa could argue, M/N decided to resort to threats. "Get up or get out."

Hearing the tone of M/N's words sent shivers down Oikawa's spine as he glanced at M/N's absolutely serious expression. Oikawa instantly stood back up.

For some odd reason, Oikawa couldn't refute M/N. In fact, he felt as though he was compelled to listen to M/N. It was as if M/N had some kind of invisible force cast around him. With that strict tone of his, it sent unspeakable tingles straight to his heart. Oikawa couldn't find the will to deny M/N. Subconsciously, he is and will be good for M/N.

M/N at the moment, is Oikawa's utmost piority. Which isn't difficult to see especially when the only reason why Oikawa had came when he did was because he had deliberately skipped school to see M/N.
