Day 31
Iwaizumi felt like a mother as he coaxed Oikawa(All in a day's work).

"M/N-chan I won the best setter award!" Oikawa exclaimed as for a moment, his eyes sparkled with immense happiness, before dulling again.

"I just wished you were there to see it." Oikawa's smile dropped.

"Kawa-"

However, before Iwaizumi could even say anything, after Oikawa had spoken of his award, M/N's heart rate sped up. The beeping sound hastening into an almost celebratory beat.

"Look, M/N's congratulating you." Iwaizumi let a small grin unfold.

"Yeah." Oikawa nodded as a genuine smile graced his lips.

"Huh, it's been a while since you've smiled like that." Iwaizumi spoke with hints of softness behind his almost scoff.

Oikawa only glanced at Iwaizumi for a brief second, a soft whisper escaping his lips as his smile remained, "yeah..."

Iwaizumi and Oikawa both left a single Ivy on M/N's bed from where they picked; outside the volleyball tournament location.

Day 64
"M/N! I have great news!" Semi called out as he came rushing into the hospital room with glee, and in his hands held a piece of paper.

That piece of paper was a letter from Shiratorizawa Academy.

"M/N, I got a sports scholarship to Shiratorizawa!" Semi exclaimed as he waved the letter excitedly around.

Semi's mood soon dampen as at the furthest side of his mind, he had hoped that M/N would somehow wake up to congratulate him.

Semi let out a sigh, "M/N wake up soon okay? I'll see you in Shiratorizawa in the future, and we'll play together again."

Semi really wanted to share his joy with M/N and that's why he was here. Semi vouched that he would give his all as a setter, for M/N.

"I hope that when you recover, you'll come to Shiratorizawa too. Then we can be together again, and I'll be your setter. With your talent and skills, I'm sure you can get a sports scholarship too. And even in the unlikely event that you don't get it, your grades should be good enough to get you into the school. I bet you'll pass the entrance exam with flying colors. You're M/N after all. Haha." Despite laughing, a few stray tears escaped from Semi's eyes. Falling onto the tightly grasped letter, staining it.

"Please wake up soon M/N, don't let me wait too long okay?" Semi placed a gentle kiss on M/N's forehead.

Day 101
"Hey M/N-chan, we're just here to say that for Iwa-chan and me, we've officially graduated middle school." Oikawa started to speak as Iwaizumi and he had immediately came over to visit M/N after the graduation ceremony.

Iwaizumi let out a grunt in affirmation to Oikawa's words.

"We really wished that you could've been there with us." Oikawa let out a wistful smile.

"Yeah, you should've seen the way Shittykawa still glared at Kageyama-san when receiving his graduation certificate." Iwaizumi let out a small chuckle.

"Yah Iwa-chan! Don't tell M/N-chan that!" Oikawa exclaimed, his hair spiking up like a shocked cat.

"Plus it was Tobio-chan's fault that he looks annoying!" Oikawa huffed out crossing his arms.

"Sure sure. Whatever you say" Iwaizumi spoke perfunctorily, rolling his eyes.

"Iwa-chan!"

Day 178
"Eh?" A familiar voice was heard by Semi as he sat by M/N's bed.

Semi was telling M/N about his volleyball practices and how school was like in Shiratorizawa. He religiously came to see M/N after Volleyball practices.

Hearing the unmistakable perky voice of his new striking teammate from Shiratorizawa, tore Semi away from the story that he was telling M/N. Turning to the door, Semi spotted a not very well hidden redhead by the wall.

Making eye contact with Semi, Tendou let out an almost sheepish, "oops."

Oops indeed, as Semi glared at his new teammate, "Tendou-kun."

"Ah, Semisemi... I'm sorry for interrupting you and er...?"

"Akiri M/N."

"Ah, and Akiri-san." Tendou awkwardly rubbed the nape of his neck.

Tendou was only curious as to why Semi had always left so quickly every time after Volleyball practices. He most definitely didn't expect this, and he hadn't got a clue how to react to it.

"Why are you here Tendou-kun?" Semi questions exasperatedly.

"Well, I followed you since I always wondered where you were going so hurriedly, after practice each time. I really didn't expect... I'm sorry." Tendou very uncharacteristically apologized.

With Semi's limited knowledge and interaction with Tendou, he most definitely hadn't expect him to apologize. Semi was a little shocked.

"It's fine." Semi shook his head turning back to M/N.

Tendou seeing Semi not exactly chasing him out took it as a sign to enter.

Sitting at the chair beside Semi, he asked, "So what happened to him?" Tendou gestures to M/N who laid in bed.

"An accident. He saved his friend's life but now he's... Yeah." Semi had evoked a sense of melancholy that hung over the room.

"It was honorable of him to do so," Tendou spoke, looking at M/N with an indescribable look.

"Mhm" Semi nodded.

No other words were spoken that day as Semi and Tendou sat by M/N's bed.

Day 221
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to M/N, happy birthday to you~" everyone sang.

Everyone was gathered in M/N's hospital room on this very day. M/N's mother, Semi, Oikawa, Iwaizumi, Kageyama, Kunimi, Kindaichi, and even Washijo. They were all present as they sang a happy birthday to M/N.

This was the only day that Oikawa had temporarily put down his dislike towards Kageyama, and both Oikawa's and Iwaizumi's distaste towards Semi who was in Shiratorizawa. Also, one could only imagine the surprise on Semi's face when he notices his demon coach Washijo to be present as well. Semi had finally understood the pain that M/N was going through during elementary school. All his stories in the past made sense to Semi now.

Despite M/N not being awake for his 14th birthday celebration, everyone M/N knew was there to wish M/N a happy birthday. Gifts were stacked neatly in a corner for M/N to open when he awakens.

The doctors knew not when M/N was going to wake up. Medically, M/N was fine. He was mostly healed from the accident, and yet somehow his body refuses to wake up.

It was a great day filled with genuine happiness for M/N's birthday, and hopeful eventual awakening wishes for him.
One could even bet that that day, M/N's lips had drawn into a soft peaceful smile.

Well, this is turning out longer than I planned 💀. And can I just say, Tendou appears!🥳 Like I 100% can totally picture Tendou just following his teammates out of pure curiosity (just me?).

Anywho, apparently, I type really aggressively... I was told that it sounded like I was about the smash my laptop at how hard I was typing. Welp😔.
