Iwaizumi returned back to the gym after entrusting M/N to Kageyama, and as he opened the gym doors that was previously slammed shut by an angry Kageyama, Iwaizumi was flabbergasted to see Oikawa on the floor and had remained at the same spot where he once stood with tears now streaming down his face.

Iwaizumi looked at Oikawa, eyes filled with concern. He knew Oikawa was definitely feeling guilty. But he didn't know how to fix it.

As Iwaizumi stood in front of the teary Oikawa, Iwaizumi called out, "Yah, kawa."

Oikawa, hearing his name being called, looked up at Iwaizumi pitifully with his tears still falling, "I-iwa-chan."

Oikawa sniffled.

Bending down to a crouching position, Iwaizumi pulled Oikawa into an embrace as Oikawa gripped Iwaizumi's shirt hardly twisting it in his palms, letting the waterworks run.

"I-I didn't mean to hurt M/N-chan..." Oikawa sniffles.

Iwaizumi pat the back of Oikawa slowly, as he knew that Oikawa most definitely hadn't wanted to harm M/N in any way.

"It-it was just t-that I was f-frustrated. And when Tobio-chan asked i-if I could teach him to serve, I blew." Oikawa aggressively wipes his tears away.

"Tobio-chan is going to sur-surpass me, replace me. P-plus, Ushiwaka... I need to be better to win him. I'm not strong enough, I need to be stronger. And seeing Kageyama today after he substituted me earlier... All these geniuses... I need to work harder." Oikawa's tears continued to flow.

"I was just o-overwhelmed. I need to become stronger. I need to work harder. I must become better!" Oikawa cried out.

At this point when Iwaizumi heard Oikawa's words, whatever sympathy that he had felt for his best friend was washed away. Instead, he got really angry. He gripped the front of Oikawa's shirt tightly as he shook Oikawa vigorously, "I'M NOT LIKING ALL THIS TALK OF 'I, I, I AND ME'! Are you trying to fight all by yourself?! This isn't some kind of joke, you dumbass!"

Oikawa looked a little shaken and shocked at Iwaizumi's sudden burst of aggressiveness.

"In case you didn't know, your results and the team results are the same! So don't get all conceited about yourself! Or else I will sock you!" Iwaizumi screamed as he dragged Oikawa up from the ground.

"You already did!" Oikawa screeched out.

With Oikawa now kneeling on the ground with a fuming Iwaizumi who was standing up with both fists held strongly onto Oikawa's shirt, Iwaizumi continued to knock some sense into him as Iwaizumi progressively got more furious.

Iwaizumi appeared even madder as he looked directly into Oikawa's eyes, "We've got nobody that could win against Ushiwaka one on one!"

"But Volleyball has 6 people on the damn court for a reason!" Iwaizumi yelled out in exasperation, desiring so much to just smack some sense into Oikawa.

Oikawa looked stunned for a moment as he took in Iwaizumi's words, processing them. And as soon as Iwaizumi spewed out his last lines, Oikawa's eyes widened as he had hit an epiphany.

"Whether the opponent is a genius first year or Ushiwaka..."

"With 6 people, the strong are even stronger, you dumbass!!!!!"

"Fu... With 6 people the strong are even stronger..." Oikawa whispers out to himself as if in a daze as Iwaizumi had finally released Oikawa from his claw-like grip, panting profusely due to his earlier rage.

"I think I get it..." Oikawa trailed off as he looked at Iwaizumi.

Iwaizumi huffed calming down, "I hope so. And you better apologize to both M/N and Kageyama."

Iwaizumi shook his head, and without another word, he then turned around, grabbed his bag, and began to walk out of the gym as Oikawa still remained inside.

"You coming?" Iwaizumi called out, shaking Oikawa out of his dissociated state as he too picked up his belongings and ran after Iwaizumi.

Currently, like the lazy piece of shit that I am, I'm laying on my bed doing absolutely nothing.
Ignoring the still stinging feeling on my face just like I do to all my homework, I continued my act of laziness as I just coddled myself up within the comfort of my sheets.

However, my blissful moment was immediately thwarted by a familiar ring in my mind.

I groaned to myself as the penalty reminder popped up in front of me again.

Hey! I'm just being kind here.
I was just being helpful to remind you of your penalty in case you forgot.
You should be thanking me instead.

"I don't need your damn reminders, X!"

Whatever.
I'm just being concerned okay?
If you fail this, you're dead.
And somehow, I'm inclined to believe that today was your only chance of getting a slap out of Oikawa.

"Yeah..."

Sooooo, anyway, how was the experience getting punched by Oikawa? Pleasant?

"It was obviously not! Did you even have to ask? My face hurts right now, Oikawa packs a punch, literally."

Aw how sad.

"Wait a min-"

I called out to X as I suddenly thought of a brilliant idea.

"X..."

What is it?

Looking at X with determination, I began my negotiation... Or what you would call begging.

"X, the most awesome and amazing system ever, you know that my face really hurts right?"

Yeah...?

"And you know that I think you're the best right?"

... Um okay?
What is it? Spit it out.

"Then could you please take my pain into account and accept the punch?🥺"

You're saying that you want me to consider the punch that you receive as a slap?

"Yes. Please? Is it possible?"
I questioned X, my tone all soft and gentle.

I don't know, M/N...

"Come on, a punch hurts more too, so you're technically earning it, no?"

Hmm...

"Please, X 🥺"

I...I-

I pouted 🥺.

Okay, then sure. I'll waver your penalty this time.

"YES! thank you so much X!"
I leaped up in joy as X agreed to rid me of my penalty.

Only for this one time will I be lenient.
Plus don't say I didn't warn you but, this pardon will not come without consequences. Nothing comes free after all.

"Sure! No problem, thank you thank you X. You're the best!"
